Interesting that happy hours on thursday has now been changed to Epic Thursday..

Next week being Falcon huntress and Vikings for the evening.

Then the weekends 2x4hours sng's to follow..

Think itll be still too much to get over 2500xp by end of next week, but miracles do happen. :laugh: But nice to see new
things happening and more games included. (falcon huntress being a favourite of mine).

The cynic in me thinks this new format is the way forward and that 48h battle weekends maybe no more (or less often)

However 2 games for 3 evenings a week suits me better, no sitting around doing nothing all weekend apart from Battles and can still save the rewards till a Monday as before :)

If I have got it right, good move IMO.

Yes I would prefer the way it is this week every week that would compensate for the long 48 hours weekend if there were 4 - 2 day 4 hours per month every weekend that would be an equivalent of battle weekend if you include sleep and other activities over the long weekend.
 
Must admit i like the idea of 2 games over 3 nights a week - as much as i always liked the battle weekends, this does kinda make it a little easier to play and spreads it out a little. (could argue it makes it less annoying when you miss out due to xp dropping just as a battle weekend approaches - at least they are run more regularly instead of all weekend, at least theres a chance to get xp back up and play again.)

I wonder if this is the way it will go or whether Vs are just testing it at the moment? id be happy if it did switch to this method.
 
Personally I found the weekend a few months ago when we all played ‘Phoenix rising’ with lots of re-buy options and a huge prize pool where nearly everyone got a nice chunk of cash the best.
You didn’t necessarily need to spend more that €2/€3 to secure a place (for those low on funds).
It rewarded loyalty regardless. People could play at a time that suited them, around family/work/time zones, without taking the entire weekend up.
It also gave enough of a ‘spin fix’ if you wanted to play slowly/without auto.

I somewhat like that model, but i think there were waaaay to many rebuys.
To have a chance at placing high, you needed to get all the rebuys, and 2750 spins take a long-long time to complete when you have the 3-sec delay between spins.

I think 2-3 rebuys would have been more than enough to make people feel like they had more than one go at getting a good score.

I actually liked the 10 rebuys. It gives you a chance to aim higher. You don't have to use all 10 of them if you don't want to

I can disagree with this point using my own experience.
I was lucky enough to get a super big hit in the first set of spins. Putting me at position 46 early on.... slipping to about 350th by the sat evening.
I left it at that for a while and then got sucked into re-buying. My position/amount won didn’t change that much, and upon reflection, if I had stopped at 1 buy and kept the €9 I would have walked away a little better off.
So to summarise, it is possible (with game that has a high variance) to get a monster hit early on that can’t be touched by lots of rebuys.

But the same would apply even more if there were just 3-4 rebuys
For every rebuy they add, you are more and more likely to need more of them to get a good spot.
Like say there were 30 rebuys, no matter how many good hits you get in the original spins, you would still be outscored by people getting all the rebuys even if they score bad with them.

I didnt mind the cost at all, since you were almost guaranteed the money back (at minimum), for me it was more about how long it took to complete all the spins.
But all this said, i do agree with you that the megabattle-weekend was a good concept, and i also prefer it over the sitngo weekends. :thumbsup:

:laugh: Long hair being the only thing, got me in a bad relationship for 9 years. Wowzers on the likeness eh! Crazy. They say that we all have one person that we look like that is a celebrity.
 
You do not fulfill the limit requirements for this Battle, you need to have deposited EUR 20.00 and collected 2,500.00 XP (Experience Points) in the last 30 days. You have currently deposited EUR 178.06 and collected 1,455.90 XP in the last 30 days And no cashback today either. Last month was brutal for me, and I'm taking this month to build my bank account back up ( notice how we can talk about personal stuff on here) It's been a while since I haven't qualified and going on almost a week now. Is there not or was at some point, that you could qualify for 2 battles?

Exactly same this is first month I not qualified for all the battles last month was ridiculous and this month isn't starting much better.

I'm not going to stress over it. Qualifying is more than I wish to spend right now. Even depositing more than 20 dollars is not something I'm going to do at this point. My play time has never been good here no matter what, and it has always cost me almost 500 Canadian every month. If you have to pay to get back, then there is a problem. It would be nice for the thousands of dollars I have spent, to be acknowledged for that though, when things are tough.

and no loyalty team and battles that give you...maybe...5 bucks for flogging away at it for 2 full days
vs has a support team and games, that's pretty much it
a repeat request for docs that are verified that were supposed to have been sorted LAST month, a level i cant pass unless i flog a million bucks in so no exciting wheels,
and maybe less than half my posts get a response unless theyre glowing, cant see them getting my vote this year, there's too many better out there
but hey, ONE player got a perk, so that makes them good, right?
