Official Videoslots presents Battle of Slots!

I agree wholeheartedly :)

I've said for a long time that MG tournament system is the way of the future. The lines between "Gaming and Gambling" are becoming thinner. Look at the "social" slots in Google Play Android games etc.

One thing about bingo sites I have always liked is the chat rooms. With these new tournies Videoslots have embraced that social aspect. During yesterday's big 500 spins tournie players were chatting.

The format of these tournaments is a huge improvement on the MG software. One thing I don't like about MG tournaments is they are a mad rush. Videoslots have struck a good balance with the hour for 100 spins. I've never understood why MG feel the need to rush you in tournaments - I want to spin and savour the experience.

I hope they VS can add many many more slots to this new mode. Variety is the key. I would also like to see mega battles where there are a thousand or more spins.

Please VS strike a fair balance for the low rollers who want to take part without Wagering so high beforehand though :) Throw in some where WR is more modest.

Can't wait to see how this evolves :)

Is there anything that can be done for those that play overnight? I found that there are just not enough players in the early hours of the morning to meet the minimum number. This has meant, on occasions, that despite have deposited/wagered enough I couldn't participate in the sit and go tournaments because of lack of players

I think that will soon change, once the words out and alot more to play once they add pay to play ones :)

Unfortunately I missed tonights but got 15 spins in yesterdays :)

I have to say that these tournaments are superior to MG. The MG ones give nowhere near as many spins and are stingy with completion time.

It is clear they are already popular.

The prizes on the sit n go are very modest but they are just fun to participate in.

I noticed today they had added a couple more sit n gos.

The problem with MG tournies is it's the same ones day after day. It looks like Videoslots plan to mix these up and keep them exciting.

As much as I love 32 Red. - Videoslots have become my new number one and 32 Red take some beating :)

took part yesterday and finished 16th - 10 FS on JATB which gave me a glorious 0.17$ .. LOL .... i see this more as a social networking thing than a way of actually making it to a withdrawal.

But certainly not bad to attract more players, especially since you have to deposit and wager regularly to be allowed to take part. Good move VS

You can end up depositing £100 and still end up not making £200 wager to take part in the smallest tourney,

Take P.Zero's statement

At least make some torneys for small reg players, I know its early days but like in a thread the other week when talking about tournaments, Only the high rollers could win and they was not bothered about 100 free spins that come with a wager, (different site)

I must admit I am looking forward to the buy in ones

ProbabilityZero, when it comes to knowing if a player enters a bonus or free spins round, there is a notification informing about it in the chat.

Cheers

Philip

Yes they are fantastic but a couple of points occur to me:

The current structure could in fact increase your banking costs. Say I'm ready for a withdrawal usually I'd leave "x" amount in for continue play. Due to the deposit requirement I'm more likely to withdraw full and redeposit so I can meet the deposit in one day requirement.

May be better to keep the wagering criteria (which in itself promotes fair play) but change deposit requirements so they are all within 7 days.

It would also be better to know the criteria for each before going to the "register" button :)

The other thing is current set up can be counter productive in that I would be unlikely to deposit and wager a lot evening before two days of 12,hour work shifts as by time I got to play tournaments the 1, 2 or 3 day window would have passed leaving me likely to delay a deposit so I can play tournies.

Personally I think weekly deposits and WR would be preferable if at all possible :)

Exactly this. I work 4on 4off and it happened to me the last of my rest days. Deposited £300 and played it through (so wagering/deposit criteria well met) but by the time I play again in a couple of days time, I will not be able to enter the tournament. Of the 4 deposits I am making every 8 days, only 3 of them will be legible for the tournaments.

So, we've had the Battle of the Slots for a little while now and I still think its a great development. I have a few suggestions which aren't intended to be received in a critical way but in the spirit of constructive user feedback.

If anything here is browser specific, for the record I use the latest version of Chrome.

1. Would be useful to be able to scroll the chat facility both in game and in the summary afterwards.

2. Where you win a few times in a row and get seperate rewards, It would be handy for them to accumulate, for example, you win 2 spins, then three and then 5. It would be a more enjoyable experience to have ten sitting there to be activated once rather than three separate rewards.

3. On battles with lots of players, it might be useful to have a box showing your position (if you're towards the bottom you can't see it).

4. It would be handy if the game would automatically default to the coin value for the tournament and retain settings like "disable animations" and "quickspin" so they don't have to be set every time.

5. It would be useful to be able to see the eligibility rules before you hit register.

6. I don't think the pop up indicting you've registered is necessary as the register button changes.

7. The popup info when you initially load the battle is useful but a "do not display again" option might be useful.

Hope this helps!

I use Google Chrome and am able to scroll bars and see all chat so not a specific Google Chrome issue.

Wow winning several times in a row would be grand lol.

I think seeing deposit and WR requirements before clicking "register" would be great.

I agree there are a few unnecessary clicks but overall the system is far superior to MG which has been running years :)

I have to select the text to scroll (there is no scrollbar) and then it jumps back to the top so you can't keep it on screen for long enough to read!

I've found it like with any other session it comes in fits and starts.

Hi citizenx,

Reply to the questions, see below:

1. Good suggstions. Right now you can scroll in the chat but there is a technical problem we are working on.
2. Technically this is not possible at the moment unfortunately.
3. Already in progress and it will be added within a short period of time.
4. We are waiting for Netent to develop this feature regarding the coin value. We agree it would be a much better player experience. Regarding "disable animations" and "quickspin" we will look into it, at the moment it's not possible.
5. You can see the rules for each battle in the lobby before you register.
6. We need this pop-up due to regulations.
7. We need this pop-up due to regulations.
8. We are aware of the chat having some technical problems and we are working on it.

I think seeing deposit and WR requirements before clicking "register" would be great.

Regarding being able to see the deposit and WR requirements before you register, we are working on it and it should be live shortly.

Thanks guys for all the feedback. It's good to know what you think.

Best regards,

Philip

Thanks Philip.

Appreciate the feedback. Give your team a much earned pat on the back.

Out of curiosity is the licence for tournies restricted to Netent or will other providers be added?

Please do some eggomatic ones either freeroll or paid :)

Hi,

Our Battle of Slots are not restricted to Netent only. But the other don't have the technical requirements for it yet. And regarding Eggomatic, it is not working with BoS but there are plenty of other games :)

Cheers

Philip

The sit and go battles have been brilliant but today's The Wishmaster does not work out too well.

The reason for this is that first, second and third prizes are 4, 3 and 2 spins respectively. If you then win a battle and use the award the feature (which in wishnaster is the only real way of winning) runs for 10 spins but as these are paid spins the award "free spins" runs out right at the beginning. Continuing with real funds resets it as does loading another reward making the feature (which makes up the majority of the RTP in this game) pointless.

At the end of the day the sit and go's are free (providing deposit and wager net) so this may not be considered an issue, but I thought should bring to your attention as may provide players with sense of frustration.
