It's such a shame really isn't it? A fabulous site that offers every game under the sun, loads of new games added each week, live casino and now sports, some great promotions and site features - and it just doesn't work properly often enough. I really do wish they could get it all fixed once and for all, because aside from the occasional urge to shop around for better RTPs on certain slots there's really no need to play anywhere else - everything is here under one roof. I genuinely feel sad that it's become so unreliable.
 
There's no sentiment in business, nor should people feel sorry for a company. Their sole purpose is to provide a product to the best of their ability, not run on customer loyalty and nostalgia.

They could have a million slots running at 99.5% RTP, but it counts for nothing if none of it works. Then we're going into Amber Heard territory of 'pledging' instead of 'delivering'
 
They're a decent site: nothing more, nothing less. Depends on what you like - some (all) sites have dried up re the old 50-100% offers but certainly, from my playing perspective, i would rather use them (and the chance to up stakes), as opposed to clicking like i was demented for peanuts usually.

Re their reliability: -it's always something. And that something gets fixed. Except, it never does.

They'd be better pulling it down for whoever long it takes, and trying to sort out permanently. All this patchwork approach, of fixing it for an hour only to see it capitulate again only serves to annoy people: though, being VS and living off past glory, i would imagine people will still think they're amazing :laugh:
 
I don't know any other online casino in the world that has had as many problems with technical side as VS.
Yes, battle system seems to be from somewhere in the early 2000s and i guess they are not updating it.
Maybe that's one of the main points what causes technical issues. Second is obvious too much traffic.
Servers doesn't handle increased player flow when sit n go's are on and thousands of players playing at the same time.

But it's really sad that they don't want to do anything about things. It's pretty clear that years and years but nothing has gone in a more balanced direction is a conscious choice. If they really wanted to, the changes for the better would have been achieved in this time

Year after year fixing fixing fixing fixing and too often some fix temporary solve issues but month or two until same problems are back.
Like right now battles not working properly. About seven months ago exactly same situation. 10 man was taken away because too much battles / traffic. I'm not 100% sure but i have the impression that the casino once announced that this problem had been solved.
I have a feeling that no permanent solutions have ever been done. Mostly put a patch on the leaking areas and these solutions have been temporary.

I'm just an amateur when it comes to network traffic but i know, that companies tend to increase server capacity if the current servers are not enough. That's the funny thing why doesn't this casino do that or at least I assume that the server power is undersized and that's why site lags and crashes. Just a small expense that could solve many problems

clearly it don’t affect this weeks booster but what about next week?

I’m also still waiting on a red wheel for completing all trophy’s on extra chilli from Monday ☹️ Even tho that has been reported to chat on Wednesday.

I have always been very loyal to VS and have always defended the site as it’s a very good place to play, but even I am struggling to not get a little upset with all the constant site errors and having to avoid playing on the site with real money many times a week ( eg battle nights )

If your site can’t cope with the volume of players doing battles why not just give qualified players the average amount of free spins they would get instead, less work on the site, less time consuming and stressful for the players while still rewarding loyal custom, and just keep bigger ones like the Tuesday 15k one etc.

Just an idea, because all your site is doing lately is turning players to look for somewhere else ☹️
 
Reported the weekend booster thing earlier in the week mate, been happening since Monday.

Seems a few are affected, they emailed saying they were escalating matter to relevant department (now where have I heard that before :p) but not heard anything back yet.

Hope it is sorted as weekend rewards and a couple of micro deposits have lasted really well this week so looking at maybe a ten spot next Fri :thumbsup:

Its exactly the same situation I have been in since Monday with the extra chilli red wheel Support sent it to the relevant department on wednesday and still not been credited, and as you say they are really hard to get chilli takes 30-40,000 spins to get this. They said I could reset it with the green reset icon but until i get the red wheel Im scared too lol @Team.Videoslots Come on VS it cant be that hard to add manually if needed its not like you can't see we have earned the reward :)

Maybe connected to the weekend booster issue as they have both started at the same time.
 
Up until 8 weeks ago, I deposited pretty much daily on VS. But I'm done with it now - the constantly broken battles are no longer an attraction and the broken wheels and weekend booster just make it an awful site in general.

With the direction it has been going in this year, I can see them closing soon.
I give up on VS, use to get free spins wheels my xp use to move now nothing works, to me looks like XP moves £100 1 xp

My red trophy wasn't credited either but live chat was able to help there. However, got the free spins reward on Danger High Voltage- activated the spins, loaded the game and nothing. I've sent them emails and screenshots showing that the free spins weren't credited and it's been ongoing since Wednesday. Also same issue with weekend booster- shows as 0 for the entire week.

Broken Battles are par for the course we're used to that, however Wheels, rewards, XP, weekend booster all not working correctly never known it this bad.

As their have been issues for a couple of years now and the feedback is now the usual copy and paste apology and looking into issues reply i very much doubt you will get a reassuring reply.

Defo optimistic mate and could not agree more, optimism based on the fact that Mr. Wild has been around quite a bit lately and to be fair to him, he does make an effort to keep us informed etc.

I already contacted chat about the red wheel on Tuesday and then after the 48hrs on Wednesday and they said they would flag it to the relevant department but still nothing….
As for the booster problem I will email them now… and update here when I have answers that might help other people.

I think we're all hoping that stuff can be fixed. I'd be happy if they shut down the battles for a week just so they can get in there and fix everything to be honest.
If this was any other site I'd just bin them off and find somewhere else but I really do love VS - it's got everything you could possibly want and I really would love it if things got sorted. The fact I'm still here, like many others, even when the site breaks regularly shows that people are willing to persevere. I know loads of people who use VS who feel the same - they don't want to go anywhere else because of the range of games, fast withdrawals and unique promotions.

I mean you've got the likes of William Hill and Sky Vegas tugging themselves off, promoting the fuck out of some shitty 'prize drop' or 'win machine' bollocks where you can win 5p. VS offers so much more and are willing to take the time to engage with players on here. At least they're not hiding...
 
Sounds like blind faith to me, when one sticks to a company that continuously fails its own customers, and has players believing it will all be sorted out, eventually. The kind of loyalty that's not only undeserving, but somewhat 'partisan', when the facts speak for themselves.....

Most people liked VS at some point, no great shakes is it, they've won Casino of the Year for this reason. But losing key staff, providing a shockingly bad Battles 'experience' every time, and giving customers stock answers, does not a great casino make.

Yes we'd all love for their technical issues to be resolved, wouldn't we? That'd be chipper. Except from what I'm seeing, they're happy to keep these events going without ever truly taking the time out to rectify their ongoing problems. Would losing a Battle weekend for that not be a reasonable compromise? Looks to me that they simply don't care about the end product, with the can being kicked down the road.

No one claims that 5p promos are what anyone asked for, but see, unlike eg VS, at least the player would be in receipt of these menial prizes without a hitch. VS' perks tend to be less perky when they don't actually work.

And in all honesty, the customer reserves the right to play where they feel there's a level of competency, and where things run properly. So I'd take a soulless Bookies over a broken-down VS any day of the week.

But maybe that's just me :cool:

My reason is battle world. Ist's unique there are no competitors in the market. Monday evening and thursday evening are part of my weekly schedule. And when everything works it's fun i really like to play battles because it's a different kind of gambling apart from normal gambling.
And that's why i hate this situation. I have been a disappointed customer for a long time because the technical problems continue and continue
but the threshold to vote with my feet is really high. I know what I'm going to lose and it's quite a lot when it comes to my own gaming world

I'm baffled by the almost shill like defending of them: this is a site that chopped their rewards programme but increased qualifying, a site that doesn't work: in general. All on the basis for what, some 94% max RTP spins? They engage? Well, look at the RAW game on Monday's tonight and sure, sounds like they listen:laugh:

As for other sites offering decent bang for your buck - each to their own. I know some places, and play there, still offering 50-100% matches. Personally, i prefer them rather than collecting 16 rewards that give 2 quid. Like i said, all preference.

As Goat says: have we really reached a stage where a site 'being up' is viewed as some sort of achievement? And casino's wonder why they can 'get away' with offering 94/92/88% slots - some of the comments on here show exactly why they think they can. Because they do.;)
