It is almost as if you believe that colinsunderland is purely asking for himself and no one else has any interest in videoslots being transparent in this forum on issues that effect many people.

Actually i stole that little nugget of wisdom from my niece, who got it from her mother.

She was making up bullshit words for some memory word game she and i was playing.
So i called her out and said she was just making up words, and she told me "My mom said all words are made up"

To be fair to Dion.

ColinSunderland is like a dog with a bone when it comes to VS.

Any issues on the forum re VS and its a countdown till Colin arrives to take his pound of flesh.

When it's constant and relentless, it loses a lot of merit.

And all they have to do to shut me up is answer the simple question I asked a week ago, with a real answer. So far all I get is

After speaking to the the legal and compliance team I can tell you that personal data that is shared and related to Anti Money Laundering or Responsible Gaming purposes we have a legal obligation to retain and to share across the brands.

Firstly, that still requires consent, thats why they changed the privacy policy.
Secondly, even if consent wasn't required, my account is under the UKGC license, which MrVegas doesn't have, so there are no RG issues or AML issues, as I can't play at MrVegas.
Thirdly, that wouldn't cover MrVegas staff accessing my Videoslots account for a completely unrelated question.

I closed my account there for a reason, and what I didn't expect them to do was allow staff from a completely different company to be able to access my Videoslots accounts, especially after I specifically told them not to share my data with them.

But they have already said they've answered as much as they can/will here and that they can put him in contact with the legal team. They're clearly not going to go any further here, so pulling the thread raises only blood pressure ;)

MY point simply, is, if VS is unwilling to address the issue and has been elevated, it rather ends there...it isnt an issue can be forced - and FTR, im not negating your concern has merit, colin
VS, in the capacity of rep has decided their hands are tied on what they can share once it's moved upward to legal; once the issue has been elevated - in their words - past the scope of 'rep' there's little recourse in this thread

No point doing a PAB is there, they will just lie anyway, like they have by email again and again.

My question was are they going to answer my email, your jumped in saying they had in a manner and that thats all they were going to say. How do you know that? Why not let them answer? Or MrWild, or Matti, the reps who aren't actually reps, just when it suits them.

Ok, let's be very clear on a few points:
  • VS does not get a free pass here despite the implications that they do. If there's a legit line of inquiry then it should be followed. VS or otherwise.
  • that said, beating the shit out of a dead horse on the forums for the sake of displaying your moral outrage is pointless and counter-productive to the forums as a whole. At a point it becomes more about someone being a blow-hard than it does about the issue at hand and this is not the place for that.
  • at a certain point it becomes much more productive to raise the issue to @Casinomeister or myself -- via PAB or PM or whatever you prefer -- and ask that we see the thing through. That will get you the results you are after -- whether you happen to like those results or not -- and it keeps the forums from turning into a garbage fire.
  • "No point doing a PAB is there ...". Yes, there damn well is, because that's the way we do things here, or at least that's one of the avenues available to get such things looked into. If you don't like it that's fine but you are not free to write your own rules about how to get this done. These forums are not your personal wailing wall. We expect and demand that you know and follow the Forum Rules.
Yes I'm stating the obvious with much of what I've said but apparently some folks need to be reminded of the obvious.

So, to the issue at hand: @colinsunderland, I welcome you to contact me directly to state your case and what exactly you are after. The PAB system is the most convenient but if you'd rather PM that's fine too. Another option which I recognize might be more preferable to you would be to open a specific thread in Other Complaints although I'll have to keep a tight rein on that to ensure it stays productive and on topic.

Whichever way we do this I will follow through on it and get whatever answers I can. If that resolves the issue then so be it. If it does not than we'll decide what needs to be done regarding VS.

If you don't like any of these options then that's fine too but you are not welcome to hijack this thread for your personal issue. I've given you several alternative routes to see this through. Pick one or don't but you are not free to continue here as you have been.

And last but not least: you've been warned several times that dissing the mods will get you booted. I remind you that that warning is still active and applicable. If you don't like what a mod has to say then either Report it or hold your tongue: bitch-slapping the mods on the forums is only going to end one way.

I return you to your regular programming.

Given any potential legal implications re player protection would any possible PAB/PM investigation's outcome be published on this forum?
 
I for one admire @colinsunderland for standing up for people's rights and to help us here with legal issues. I do see the point that it should be taken to a separate thread and let VS/Mr. Vegas continues with operations and business stuff in this thread but @colinsunderland is not in the wrong either.

Since bonus buys have been banned, I've actually kinda missed them.

Never used to use them much at all but on the odd occasion I used to like having a bonus buy session.

Yeah i miss them too esp on Extra chilli sometimes you just wanna quick couple of features and not always more expensive at the end when you factor how long it can take to trigger time and money wise.

Agree, and sadly some games are unplayable now- it takes that long to bonus them.

One slot I don't understand the bonus buy on is Wild West Gold by Pragmatic...seems to bonus often enough through normal spinning.

It often gives back a pretty big chunk of the buy cost even when you dont get anywhere.
Never had any significant win on it tho.

I play Chilli sometimes, and if you catch it on a good day the basegame can be pretty good.
Ill buy that bonus once its down to €2-4ish

When we had the bonus buy nonsense in the U.K. mate I agree white rabbit was by far the easiest to at least get close to money back almost everytime.

Chilli is a scam, should never of been allowed in the first place. The bonus normally isn’t that hard to hit anyhow, a damn site easier then bonanza.
 
Anyone tried this new game at VS got the feature with what looks like a fairly good setup, but now its in a stuck game loop :(

Yes tried clearing cookies etc etc, same on ipad, restores game round replays the first spin and crashes again, Grrr

Also last few days getting a lot of error 502 @Team.Videoslots using chrome on clicking on new games mostly, chat said they knew it was a chrome update and that they were working on a fix but apart from using firefox thats not gone away either....... any news on a fix ? anyone else getting the issue in chrome?

Those 502 issues are normally fixed by clearing the VS cookies in Chrome. Did it the other day and sorted the problem out straight away.

Tri Piki is full of bugs. Had 5 spins to try it this morning and got errors. Not worth the hassle!
 
Well it would appear that the provider has voided the game and gave me the £3.95 i had won up at the point the game crashed, im just wondering why they didnt complete the full game round and play out the remaining 9 spins and the respins, which would have resulted in more wins.

I will be honest im not that impressed with the way this has been handled and yet again a provider ducks out on their responsibility to complete a broken game round properly. :( Or are they really saying the next 9 spins paid 0.00 yeah course they did.

Im normally very happy with VS but have to admit this has left a sour taste for sure. :(
