Uptown Aces/ BitCoin issue

Hey yall.

I have been using BitCoin to fund and make withdraws from my Uptown Aces (as well as other JPC affiliates). Until this week, it had been great and I thought that FINALLY, U.S. players had a way to both deposit and collect with ease.

-BUT-

I have a BitCoin withdraw delayed at the moment. I am being told it is a BitCoin issue and not something on their end. I don't see how it could be, since I am still able to buy, sell, and transfer BitCoin at the moment. Has anyone else been experienced delays?

I have been thru every withdraw option they have in that past... WU, cheque, PayMyCard... the list goes on... I thought that BitCoin might finally be the one we can count on. Here we go again:(:(:(

Last summer I remember there was an issue with bitcoin but it only lasted a couple days. I received an email saying I could wait or choose another method to

withdraw. Did they offer you another withdraw method?

Exact same situation at Slotocash.

I am having the exact situation over at Slotocash. Was told the exact same thing you were by live support and also am wondering how the problem is "on the bitcoin end". Was told the same thing last week but ended up only being a day late.

I'll go one further, today there is a note in my cashier to the payment team on my request for courier cheque that says "process on the 7th" I learned from support that management also has put a 2500 max weekly payout for all payout methods combined...I was told by no less than 3 support reps that I could utilize each method once per week. Support didn't have an answer as to why the cap was placed on my account. Their website clearly says 5k per week. I have pm'd the rep and am waiting to hear. I'm fairly certain we'll get some answers soon.

Its like I told you in another thread, this casino will do absolutely anything in its power bordering on the rules to keep the money staring you in the face as long as possible.

They should really stop this its not really how an accredited casino should be acting

I have the same situation going on with Slotastic. Withdrew last Saturday with bitcoin and still being delayed. On the other hand I had a bitcoin withdrawal from Intertops processed today with no problem. Kind of unusual since both casinos are part of the JC Group.

I had a bitcoin payout last week with Uptown. It should have been processed Friday, it was authorized for payout Friday morning but for some reason the actual payout didn't happen. It did get processed first thing Monday morning with no problem. I hope this isn't going to be an ongoing issue like every other one.

Issue with BTC? Impossible!

Bull$hit! By "...their end" they mean YOUR end...because they are shamelesly blowing smoke up your "end."

Bitcoin is nothing more than record of transactions . Each transaction is given it's own priviate key. That key is stored in your wallet and is specifically tied to YOU.
When you execute a new transaction, this creates a node of information that integrates itself to a blockchain. As a security measure, a chain of nodes that links your BTC to you is confirmed by individuals known as miners. The Blockchain standard is six confirmations to ensure the transaction is safe. Each confirmation averages 10 minutes. Now, this average time fluxuates with the value of BTC, but at it's highest value, the entire confirmation process averaged 24 hours in the most extreme cases.

ISSUES WITH BITCOIN TRANSACTIONS ARE IMPOSSIBLE. BTC is just a recorded transaction. Period.

If there is a transaction of a payment to you, there is a private key. You can use that key like a US Postal Tracker number.
Simply go to this site (or some other tracker site) and imput your transaction info in the search field.

Mine from last week followed the same schedule as yours. I received the authorization email and should have received Weds. the 26th and itarrived Early A. M. Thursday. Status showed that the payout was "in progress" for 10, 12 hours. Funny thing was I requested a courier cheque the day after I made my btc request and I actually received it before my btc.

I told them it sounded fishy and yet they continue to blame BitCoin. It's literally like them blaming "Pesos" or "computers". It just doesn't make sense. This is the email response from their VIP rep...

"We appreciate your patronage and I want to assure you that it is never the intent of Uptown Aces to play games with, or to deceive our customers.

Your withdrawal is not under review but remains in pending until we receive and update from BitCoin to process.

I once again crave your indulgence and your patience as we await a resolution from BitCoin. I will certainly follow-up on the process, and contact you personally as soon as an update is received.

I trust I have been able to allay your misgivings and look forward to your continued support.

Regards,
Dahlia"

I wonder if these delays are due to the fact that Bitcoin just hit over 1k and has been steadily rising. Maybe they are worried they will end up paying out too much BTC only to have it skyrocket later on and then they will end up loosing free money.

The massive price fluctuations are the cost of doing business. IMO

The casino owe's him in USD. He should get an amount of bitcoin equal to the amount of USD owed him. If they are going to pay him from their wallet, the time to do that would be now because the value is so high.

i know that this weekend there was a major botcoin wallet that was having issues. i sent a transaction and it took over 3 hours and according to other people ive spoken too i was lucky some of theirs were in limbo for a couple of days. Ask them for the botcoin transaction info then go to blockchain and put the info in. It should show how many confirmations and whats going on. if they cant give you the info that means they never made the transaction.

Did anyone notify the Sloto rep of this thread?

I have sent 2 pm's to their rep. The first was sent on 1-19 asking for assistance in perhaps getting my wd amount increased. No response at all. The second pm was sent yesterday regarding asking for assistance with the problem for which this thread is about. However, I did not mention this thread in my last pm because the pm preceded my discovering this thread. No response as of yet. I also sent Bryan a pm on 1-20 asking for advice, direction, or help on getting my withdraw limit increased but nothing from him either to this point. Although, that was around the time of the CM awards which I am sure is no small undertaking and had him swamped. I will send Ms Sloto another pm with a link to this thread with an attention getting subject line.

Im wondering if maybe they are waiting on revenue from losses to pay the few winners? idk.

Official notification of this thread sent to rep. with link.

I contacted Slotastic support regarding my bitcoin withdrawal from Jan.29th. Now they're telling me the delay is due to heavy processing on their end. Yesterday I was told it's a bitcoin issue. Never had a problem with this casino group until now. They mentioned that they should be caught up in a couple more business days.

TO BE CLEAR:

I thought that I sent a link to this thread to the rep immediately upon starting it yesterday. I know that there is a zero tolerance policy about contacting the rep when making a complaint (although this was not a formal complaint, I just wanted to see if anyone else was having a similar experience/ issue). I am not seeing that PM in my "sent messages" folder, so it may have been an error on my end?

I just tried to forward the link to the thread AGAIN and it is still not showing in my "sent messages". If I am in error about maintaining contact with the rep in the forum, i humbly apologize, as I thought I had contacted Sloto immediately.

UPDATE: I did not have the box "Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder." checked, so I do believe I sent the link yesterday.

I sent Sloto a link to the thread. I haven't gotten a response. I also emailed their support this morning asking for an update to the situation. No response.

I called support earlier and was told the delay was with "bitcoin" and not them. That they were ready to go and were just waiting on "bitcoin" to fix their problem. She suggested that I cancel my payout request and choose another method.. Right about then she realized that there was another method already selected that should have gone out yesterday and had not. I asked to speak to the manager on duty who wasn't there but would be in an hour and she would call me back in an hour. Being That it's Friday I'm inclined to say that Nada is going to happen until next week. I sure hope I'm wrong.

UPDATE: I just received my payment via Coinbase, my BitCoin wallet.

Your post implies that you are sending and receiving Bitcoin directly from your Coinbase wallet to and from gambling sites.
This puts your Coinbase account at serious risk.
I'd strongly advise NOT to send/receive directly from Coinbase to gambling sites as Coinbase will close your account as soon as your patterns indicate that you are into gambling.
Many Coinbase users had their accounts closed because of such patterns in the past.

Recommended path is to send from Coinbase -> Bitcoin only wallet (i.e. blockchain.info) -> gambling sites.
To retrieve winnings just reverse the process: gambling site -> blockchain.info -> coinbase

Opening a blockchain account is free (actually you can open as many as you like) and the fees involved for this extra step are negligible.

This avoids the direct connection between Coinbase and a gambling site/wallet and generally keeps Coinbase accounts in good standing.

Coinbase (being licensed in the US) is obliged to extended scrutiny, blockchain.info (dealing with bitcoin only) is not.

Invalid Cryptoaddress

So then this just happened...

Thank you for your patience regarding your payout of $500.00 via Bitcoin.
Please note that this payout was declined as the Bitcoin Cryptoaddress you have entered in your payout request, is invalid.
The funds are now on your account. You may re-submit with the correct Cryptoaddress or via another withdrawal method of your choice.
Should you require any further information or assistance, please feel free to contact us.

Yours sincerely,

Slotocash Financial Services

The address is copied and pasted and usually if it's invalid it won't even accept it. Now I have to try again and wait another two days. I'm just curious, has this happened to anyone else?

We'll see how this works out. Of course I played some but fortunately I had a few nice hits and have cashed out again for $1600. I took screen shots of my bitcoin "receive" address and of that exact address being input into the cashier. Now I have to wait two days to see what happens with all that.

I know when I receive money from Uptown Aces ...JPC..Slotastic...Grande Vegas..I have to use the same address for receiving funds from them. Slotslv and Bovada

want a new address every time. I withdrew from Bovada yesterday it took 27 minutes to my blockchain account I was very surprised.

I think my Blockchain gives me a new address every time, I'm not sure. Someone who's more familiar could comment on that. But I've cashed out many times to Uptown and Sloto using this same method and never had an issue. That's why this took me by surprise. I emailed the payment center back with a picture of my Blockchain "Receive funds address" window with the address and said "I have cashed out using this address." If you need to, please feel free to cross check it with the payout I've requested so this issue doesn't happen again. I would like to receive my payout on Friday." Since I've never had a problem with them I'm going to go with the positive and call it my error the last time. I'm not sure how but ...

If it happens again then I think I'll have my tinfoil hat squarely on my head!

The posts that I read about here also coincides with when the Bit Coin network was heavily congested over the last 2 weeks.

I'm going to venture a guess, that they probably had the funds, but were waiting on the transfer to happen.

A bit of a warning if I may, expect that delays are more than likely going to occur now more frequently as miners are becoming increasingly more "fee" hungry than they were before. Back in July of last year the amount of new coin being generated was halved. Essentially cutting the amount of coin they were rewarded. Therefore a lot of them are now becoming more fee hungry than before.

So while I highly doubt Uptown or Sloto will heed my warning. If you want to get your customers paid in time, you might want to consider switching your wallet to a more dynamic fee system. That way customers aren't waiting to get paid for days and weeks.

Over the last few weeks quite a few transactions got "stuck" because the fee paid wasn't enough to outweigh other transactions that paid more of a fee than others.

To illustrate if one transaction paid 0.001 BTC to send a transaction while another one paid 0.005 BTC to send a transaction. Then one with the higher amount of a fee paid would get priority over the lower one. Now imagine quite a few paid the 0.005 BTC fee over the 0.001 BTC now your smaller fee transaction will become stuck as the miners will take priority over the larger transaction fee

So while BTC is a great way to help US players and other countries to play online. Remember that the miners are starting to figure out how to make extra income and there not afraid to utilize that system.
