Would you consider this a stall tactic?

So I finally been winning a few bucks from Uptown Aces, cashed bout a 1000 towards end of March and have 1800.00 from a day or two ago that I set to withdraw. I get this email that states:

"We are contacting you from Uptown Aces Casino.

During your Bitcoin Payout review, it was noticed that your recent activity is coming from a different State other than what is registered on file.

Please respond to this email with an explanation for the difference in location.

We also ask that you confirm if you have recently submitted a Bitcoin withdrawal request.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Regards,

Gaston

Uptown Aces Security Team"

The reason this stuff is alarming is because I gotta admit these casinos are fishy, they just are anymore. But I always fear they will find a way to void someone's winnings or try to, like this email makes no sense to me because I have no idea what he's talking about another state. I mean on my ipad I as fiddling with the built in vpn but I don't see how that does anything. But I find it just a new type of stall tactic, maybe not tho... I'm curious if anyone else gets these types of emails.

You don't see how fiddling with something that changes your perceived location could have done anything?

No because If I remember correctly one time way back I had it on forgot and went to log on and I am pretty sure it said that I couldn't play without a specific location or something, so I turned it off and was able to then log in like normal.

I had only ever used a vpn for a while back a few things but I don't pay for any vpn services or anything, ipad just has this button I was checking something out with.

Either way, I mean if they are legit about it that's fine... That's why I'm asking here is all, it just comes across to me as a stalling... Like things like this never really happened much any time I setup a withdraw over the years.

That happened to me once or twice over the last few years with them. I just told them no, not sure why it shows that as I never leave my own city. Unless it has something to do with logging into a VPN or something or the fact that I play on my phone a LOT. The only crappy thing is once they said ok, no problem, then I had to wait another 48 hours.

Yea that's about the same way it played out for me Deanna, like you said they then made you wait another 48 hours... It's like such a silly thing and why it feels like they will pull out random stops to sometimes delay.

Phone esepcially, or using different Wifi connections, they'll give you different location data. But then again my IP sometimes shows a totally different country (next door to me).

Doubt its stalling. Just process that flagged you. Google locks me out as soon as they think a new device tried to login, when it's just me, on the same phone, but IP decided to say something else.
