My mate told me in high school that that was the purpose of a shooting jacket and that he kept his under his bed!

In other news it appears that Tucker Carlson was very close to interviewing Zalenski but America blocked it so instead he has interviewed Lavrov in Russia which will be shown soon.
America too scared for the actor Zalinski straying from their dictats and talking freely.
So much for freedom and democracy.

Even if Zelensky had appeared on to be interviewed by Tucker there'd still have been themes he'd outright avoid, he's not that stupid.

Maybe we'll get the full scoop in 20 years' time as CNN locate him in a Mexican brothel 👌

Will he be providing or demanding money in the transactions?

Lex Fridman will interview Zelensky soon, but I don't know what the interview topic will be.
Who is Jewish.
That religion has made up most of the top positions in america both by the Biden government and also the new Trump government positions. This despite them being a tiny proportion of American or the worlds population.
It does not take a genious

Couple of dumb things from Friedman there. Going on and on about how Zelensky should speak in Russian during the interview. Buddy, Russia is killing his people how can you not grasp that concept?

Also, when he said Putin loves his country, Zelensky's response was pretty funny how he laughed at him. He did make a good point, if he did love his country how can he send hundreds of thousands of 18 year olds into war and their death. I dont think people grasp it. I have a 17 year old nephew and I couldnt imagine sending a kid to war. So that line kind of hit me.

Ya ya I get it, Russia didnt want Nato coming to their door step. Ive said it myself. But to invade a country like this and send millions to their death over it is really crazy. USA is partly to blame but still it does show he doesnt love his people very much if hes willing to sacrifice kids over it.

Lex kept saying the same dumb thing over and over. "my dream is for you, putin and trump to sit together and find peace".

I've argued the same sort of points, US interference and stoking war, nato expansion etc...but it still doesn't take away or justify the tragedies of all the individuals killed.

It does remind me of warring mafia gangs, fighting over territory and power, the outcome is never pretty, yes it's nations here but once you strip it back not a lot different.

We seem to have some of the worst leaders and elites in history, mafia gangsters basically.

Trump's recent rhetoric is giving me regret vibes, taking over Greenland and Canada, he should stick to his own yard and concentrate on sorting that out.

It was similar last time, he got voted in and then became obsessed with north korea, and yet afaik had never mentioned it during the election campaign.

He is acting, or talking, like we're the biggest mafia gang so you do what we say kapish!?

It is in line with Agender 21 where there is to be 5 main regions of the world.

Yes and it doesnt help that MAGA is basically a cult. I guess we didnt learn from Hitler? You have his base cheering on "ya lets invade greenland and Canada and take it over, yeehaww". These are the same types of people that agreed and followed Hitler into killing millions of jews.

At first I thought he was just talking his shit to troll Trudeau and Greenland but his recent comments show he is not messing around. When asked if he would rule out military action about Greenland, he said no, we might have to do something there. Huh? Is this guy for real? What a psychopath.

Lets all be happy US presidents have terms.

Here is a fresh interview of Zelensky by Lex Fridman. It's done with the help of ElevenLabs AI to listen in English but sounds good. Lex also plans to interview Putin as well.

This was Gonzalo Lira. Torchered then murdered in a Ukrainian prison a few years ago for saying what he knows. He was so close to escaping over the Polish boarder before his second unprisonment.

It seems like most people where deceived again. “Rubio: We deceived people into believing Ukraine could defeat Russia” over a year after it was obvious that they could never win. I would call it another genocide for the financial benefit of the military complex, the greedy bastards and the corrupt.

And talking about the corrupt. Where has over 100 billion gone too as Zelenski has stated that they only recieved about 70 billion of the 170 billion sent to him?

I think it's something more than that, in this case anyway. Experienced mercenaries or somebody from a dangerous country like columbia, then yes money because the violence and risks you're used to.

What do you reckon it would be then? He was just 18 and looked like a kid. And he didn't seem to be from a wealthy family.

If there is a war between two countries, some would go to fight for their country because it is an honor. Many others would leave the country at the first chance.

So the only motivation i see for a foreigner to fight in another country is money, regardless of the country they come from, be it Colombia, US, Poland, etc.

Otherwise IM, it's the result of misleading information and thorough brainwashing.

If it was to make money from being a mercenary then you've got to be still around afterwards to spend and enjoy it, would the pay for an untrained 18 yr old brit be that enticing when all is said and done, I suspect not.

Perhaps he thought this 'adventure' in a conflict would be the making of him, something to tell his friends and family about, become a hero.

I have no doubt the media coverage and narrative would've influenced him that this was a noble and worthy cause, and others his age were going out there, doing their bit as though it was in a similar category to charity aid work.

It could also be that it's easy for Brits to earn money there, which makes others want to go.

This man, Aiden Aslin, was initially sentenced to death but was later released through a soldier exchange.

Later, he returned and now works as a war correspondent.

I still would not consider frontline action (against the russian army or hardened donbass fighters) a source of easy money for an 18 yr old soldier novice, to me it's along the lines of walk across this wire, suspended over a crocodile pit, and I'll give you £600 a week!

But for others with fighting experience maybe, Aslin was out in syria apparently with the kurds in 2015 (age 21 if 31 now). He would seem to me to be someone motivated as well by politics or theories around good guys and bad guys and getting involved, his wiki doesn't mention any formal involvement with UK forces/training.

I suspect a number of ex squaddies and mercenaries, private security etc would look at the money and think If I can last the 6 months serving requirement that's a nice little earner, but even then that would at most be 30k (according to the web search I did earlier $4,800 a month was the top amount paid and $600 the least) and which required being involved in intense action throughout (Obviously for a columbian that sort of money goes a lot further back home).

How about if they said: Come over here, mate. It's easy money, and all you'd have to do is just peel potatoes all day and sometimes repair drones. :D

---

I also tried to find out about the wages they get and saw this ridiculous money like $600 a week. But then i found the Silent Professionals job site, which offers a pretty reasonable wage - up to $2,000 a day plus bonuses (

). The requirements however are a bit crazy.

Even the ability to speak Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, and/or Moldovan seems like too much.

Someone who would be able to speak most of these languages would likely be from Moldova, as their language is Romanian, plus they speak Russian and some Ukrainian as well. Polish and Slovak could be understood, but Hungarian is extremely difficult, i think.

However, the job is open to candidates from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Poland, and Ukraine, as long as they meet the qualifications.

That site was like a glimpse into another world, sort of blackwater territory, if your're ex army and highly skilled you can probably pick and choose jobs all around the globe.

Wagner group is basically Russia's version of it I suppose, looking them up it seems the Son of prigozhin is now the head of it, which I find really odd given what went on before.

That's a good point re the drones, anybody good at electronics, setting up and maintaining the communication equipment would be in demand out there, though even away from the frontline there is a risk of your location being hit by a missile etc...

Yes there are some good job options on that site for those who are into all this sort of stuff. Ex-special forces people or some former police officers might find suitable jobs there. I guess these people pick a job, stay for a set contract period, and then just go home if all goes well till the money starts running out. But the best picks likely come through private connections, just like with regular jobs.

It seems that those advokating and believing that Ukraine are winning the war and in no way will be defreated got it wrong.

Russia have demasculised Zananski and the UN.
Fools those who thought it would be any different.
Stop just reading and watching the media.

The biggest fools are most of Europe. Orban is pretty much always spot-on with predictions and opinions.

This is from the EU meeting where they essentially met to talk about how we are going to live with Trump being president.

No wonder Zelensky was saying we've only had half the money, Trump must've told him 'you gotta pay us back'.

So Russia keeps the eastern parts, and the money from the mineral resources is divvied up 3 ways, what a disaster for the Ukraine, would be interesting to read the mind of someone like Klitschko right now, must be furious...if all these headlines are correct, going by the bbc they seem to think it is.

They knew they were losing the war, but thought it was a 'we're all in it together with the west' moment, 'they're gifting us this money and equipment to fight for democracy and freedom', and then be told by Trump it was a loan. Beggars belief.

From what I understand is that Ukraine are not part of discussions and the only time they will be involved is when they submit their surrender.
Trump sent a deligation to NATO to clear the way for to meet Russia's key points.
But what will become of Starmer's pledge to send Billions every year for 100 years? I'm not sure if Starma will last until Easter anyhoo
Will my guess that Ukraine be forced to eccept to house Palistinians?
Will the UN back off from their plans to encroach closer to Russian boarders?
And Biden wasted billions on his and NATO's proxi war. At least the EU's money was in the form of a lone.
Will the EU's lone be paid back in the form of access to rare minerals?
Zelinski sold out his people by not agreeing to the deal that Johnson talked him out of.

I have a feeling that EU countries and the UK will have to be much more accomodating towards Russia in future

It's probably going to take a long time for relations to thaw, but then like Covid the narrative can change pretty much overnight.

No one in the EU or uk seems to be talking as they were before re Russia and sanctions, it's all gone a bit quiet.

There must be young 'soldiers' fighting today and dying, madness.

I reckon it was initially clear that Zelensky'd get help in exchange for something. The US won't do anything if it doesn't benefit them. In this case, highly likely, their goal was to weaken Russia and make most of Europe dependent on them as much as possible.

In mainland Europe, except for a few countries that care more about their own people, supports Ukraine because they don't have much to choose from in general. Usually, there is like, 'Do what the US does or says, or expect nothing from them when you need something.'

The optimal situation, IMO, for Europe would've been to help to stop the war as soon as it started and consider taking Ukraine into the EU. It would've been a tough decision to make because Ukraine's a dodgy country to deal with, where most money goes to certain people and the regular public sees nothing.

But if everything had been in order, Ukraine, with the help of the EU, would've been able to contribute significantly to the EU. Now, everything that the EU could've gotten will go to the US govt and private companies.

NATO membership for Ukraine would mean military strength, but it wouldn't affect regular people in any way. Regular people just need better jobs, salaries, and lower prices for goods, bills, etc.

I would guess that Trump would have had his DOGE team look into the funding of Ukraine and found a lot of dodgy dealings. Rather than expose those dodgy deals he could use what he knows to his own benefit re negotiations with Zelenski and with the Democrats involved.
That would be a smart move IMO

To me he is treating the world as a buidness deal when it is not as simply as that. The world are not his appentices. And the world is not Israels to dictate via Trump

But Don's biggest donors are Jewish, just like all previous presidents in my lifetime. FFS, you're acting like democracy isn't a scam. Sort it out, Geordie! ;)

For the UK, everything would have been much better if they hadn't involved in anything. The country has pretty much everything enough for themselves without the US, Europe, Russia, etc.

The UK, just needs straight talking people in govt that citizens respect, like this one in Poland:

I have the Windrush generation to thank for my beautiful kids but that was legal immigration. Illegal immigration is engineered and encouraged by most parties in the UK while pretending forever more to do something about it. And the EU and UN encourage it too.
No wonder so many people have no trust in politicians and bigwigs.

I bet they wish they took that treaty, the minsk agreement, what planet were their leadership on, stoking a war with Russia which was obvious they'd lose.

Yes if they joined the EU club that would've been a better outcome, their people have shown tremendous fight and ingenuity to hang in there, so if that had been harnessed in a peaceful way they could've been an economic powerhouse.

Blend the east and west, which their geographic position requires of them.

I regularly watch Ukrainian farming and homesteading videos on YT often they use old fashioned methods alongside the modern.
I hope that sometime soon Russian's and Ukrainians could sit down again for a few beers
I was going to post the bikini one but instead I chose this one

Ah they essentially make various food cooking videos in this style because food topics are very popular on YouTube. I've never seen that channel, but i have watched many similar videos from Wilderness Cooking. I think it should be in Azerbaijan or one of the neighboring countries.

These videos usually pull you in because you see that something interesting is going on (especially when you're hungry :D ) but you don't know what to expect.

I don't think that these Ukrainians want for much. And the size of their crops are huge.
