More people left our forces last than joined for various reasons and one of those is because of needless wars.
We have 87.000 soldiers and only half of that are combat troups. 25% of those are "unavailable for duty" due to corrective sexual issues or whatever. So 1/3 of our troups sent to the front line when the life expectancy of Ukrainian troups is probably less than a few days.
We have an utter prick for a Prime Minister and a government that backs him up.

As i've mentioned, i don't believe that only 4% support him, and said that i reckon it could be 20-30% max. However if we look closer, Ukraine has a population of 37 million. Would you believe if 20-30 million people supported him? I don't think so, and it seems now more realistic what the US intelligence estimates - 4%, which is about 1.48 million.

I was listening to a podcast today of a Trump supporting colonel who laid all the facts of how this came about. Right from 2014 until present.

Explains everything from Biden pretty much telling Putin to take a hike after Putin asked him no NATO for Ukraine. its actually quite shocking that Zelensky chose war over coming to an agreement. No NATO and aunomity for the Russian speaking regions. Thats worth millions of lives? I dont think so. Did Putin have to invade? No. From this it seems like Putin backed down 4 times to try and come to an agreement and Z and Biden basically told him too bad.

One question. Would USA allow China to build NATO bases in Mexico? Nope. So all 3 parties are responsible. Trump blaming Z solely is ridiculous.

Trump has got a bit of front, seeing as real-time US military targeting data will have been expressly created to attack russian soldiers and facilities. It could still be happening today. It's lucky Putin isn't like Stalin otherwise he'd have escalated far more, who knows what could've happened.

In the UK we have US bases, but if they weren't there would we stump up the money needed to replace the military capability that they provide.

The money going to the Ukraine from the US will not be counted as coming from the nato budget, but it is (probably) seen as money being spent in defence of europe?
