Ukraine Mess

Kim showed off a few of his toys yesterday, and by the looks of it, they integrated Shahed-type drones into the trucks. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if the Russians have joint arms factories in North Korea.

As he boarded the night train to Ukraine, Boris Johnson had the usual entourage of aides and bodyguards – plus the man who had given him £1m.

And that from the Guardian, not known for being pro Russia. Setting up an offshore account to deal with the 1 mill payement and taking the arms dealer that payed him that mill to Ukraine to force Zelenski to carry on fighting has cost endless lives and ruined so much more than that. That arms dealer was providing the drones they would use.
This has to be a chargable offence. How much was Zelenski promised?
What a shitty world we live in and how little do our leaders care about lives that they are voted in to act in our best interests.

The whole Ukraine topic is full of misleading news, heavy propaganda, and weapons ads designed to attract funding. The worst is the pro-war crowd, especially the ones who've turned Ukraine's war into a dirty business model. Then there are plenty of hate-filled psychopaths who are fueling the war.

I think that at this point it is not if Russia win but when. Trump seems to have stopped arming Ukraine directly but instead is using the EU as a proxi by selling arms to the EU and the EU can take the fall when it all goes tits up.
Russia have stuck to their goald with negotiations and at some point the Ukraine will have to fold.

So little in the UK press that they are struggling to blurt out any propaganda.
America threatened more sanctions but seem to want the EU to lead the way because their santions on India just blew up in thier face with India,China and Russia becoming closer than ever which is threatening the dollar.
And they know that the casual observer no longer believe the bullshit that they push about Russia.
Many have concluded that Russia are only interested in protecting their own interests.
It should have been settled diplomatically a few years ago instead of funding financial and political interests at the expence of so many lives. IMO

It isn't easy to say when. Russia's success in this conflict would mean making Ukraine agree to their terms. Ukraine's win would mean Russian military withdrawal and NATO membership. Getting at least some of their lost territory back would be a bonus.

But NATO membership and Russia's military withdrawal due to their inability to continue fighting would be the two main things that define a Ukrainian victory. I don't think it's realistic at all.

EU membership doesn't matter to Russia. Ukraine can join whenever the EU accepts them.

From open sources, Ukraine needs $58-68 billion in external aid annually for budget and military aid. Now they're also having problems with electricity and will have to go through ENTSO-E to get electricity from the EU, again most likely paid by the EU themselves or on loans.

Gas is another problem. They have some of their own gas but it's not enough, so they have to import gas (rerouted Russian gas). How long their own gas will last is a tricky question...

If the EU, NATO, and other countries stop supporting Ukraine with money and weapons, they'll look right morons. It would mean all the money and military supplies they sent simply went down the drain. So i would say the support won't stop in a month or two.

Now there's a craze about Tomahawk missiles or "game changers." Grok said there have already been 12 similar game changers given to Ukraine since 2022. Will these make any difference?

Just reading your post has given me a thought, one of the things 'the west' (however you interpret that) doesn't like is Russia using its money earnt from energy sales to develop advanced weapons and be a military power in the world.

But if they were required to subsidise Ukraine post war to the tune of £50 billion as part of a peace deal, for 10 yrs or something, this would be attractive to the west as it would then mean Russia had to cut back on military spending - and in return they don't have to worry about the Ukraine being weaponised against them?

I think from Russia's point of view, there can't be any subsidies possible.

---

That "peace dealer" simply wants everyone to listen to what he says (a strong global influence), trade with them, and only buy gas and oil from the US.

On one hand, stopping the war in Ukraine would fulfill his promises and make him look good - nobody could stop the war but he did it easily in a few months plus also stopped 6 or 7 other wars elsewhere in minutes, etc.

But there would be no real benefit, nobody would buy weapons anymore and likely European trades with Russia would start at some point again, for the simple reason that it's all nearby and cheaper, which was the case for decades.

On the other hand, every Ukrainian hit on energy plants weakens Russia. Even if damage seems small, repairs take time which messes up both domestic and foreign deliveries. So in this case, he's using Ukraine to weaken Russia's economy and turn Russia's buyers away and switch them to US energy.

As for Ukraine, on one hand they want to stop the war, but on the other hand there is a big gravy train running and filling pockets to some. Just imagine if the war stops and no external aid comes, what would they do then?

There's quite a madness now around the topic of how Putin is going to get to Hungary. Some are just saying "over your retarded heads," and others provide more details, but the real answer is probably here:

---

Three ways. General Popov reveals how Putin will fly to Hungary

After the conversation between Russian and US presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, authorities reported that their second meeting this year will take place in Budapest, Hungary. One of the main questions now is how the Russian President will actually get to the negotiations.

AIF.ru asked this question to Honored Military Pilot of the Russian Federation, Major General Vladimir Popov, who previously handled flight safety and organized trips for heads of state, ministries, and agencies.

They will be accompanied by Su-35s

The officer noted that Vladimir Putin's Il-96-300 won't fly alone. A pair or squadron of Su-35 fighters will guard it. Their job is to protect the head of state's aircraft by all means. "The pilots in the escort have orders: they must shield the president's aircraft even with their own bodies if there's no other means. But in current conditions, everything will probably go smoothly," Popov says.

The Major General sees no reason to worry about the flight. Relevant departments from Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Transport, and Federal Air Transport Agency are already working with other countries to plan the Russian leader's route. Several scenarios exist.

Three routes

The officer identifies three main routes from Moscow to Budapest. "The first option goes through Belarus and Poland, staying as far from Ukraine as possible. The second involves flying along the Black Sea coast through Romania and into Hungarian airspace. The third way is longest but safest—flying around everything. This seems most appropriate to me.

Our planes would take off across the Black Sea, pass through the straits, travel over neutral waters, and turn toward Hungary through the Balkan Peninsula or Austria. This removes risks associated with the special military operation," the officer explains.

He adds that Poland could cause problems in the first scenario since they're heavily influenced by Britain and strongly support Kyiv. In the second case, despite Romania's air defense systems being fully controlled by America, other risks may exist.

For the third option, our forces in Syria could provide additional support for air escort, according to the Major General. "Extra fighter jets could deploy from Khmeimim as replacement or reinforcement. Also, radar control ships could deploy from Tartus in the Mediterranean Sea, giving additional security," Popov explained.

Will the F-35s join as escorts?

The major general also mentions that flight routes are already being verified through control flights. The first test flights of Russian aircraft have likely begun or will start very soon. When the President flies, Trump might order F-35s or F-16s to join as an honorary escort alongside our fighter jets and the President's aircraft.

This would show respect and recognition for the Russian leader. "It's a demonstration of respect. This gesture shouldn't be seen as a security measure—our country can ensure its leader's flight on its own," the officer said.

According to Popov, using Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's plane for the flight to Hungary is completely unacceptable. "That would be humiliating. Only our plane will be used. Our Auruses and other backup vehicles will also be used. Everything will be our own.

As I mentioned, test flights may have already started. Equipment and personnel transfers have possibly begun or will soon begin. A meeting between leaders is serious business, and using our own equipment is standard. This has always been the case."

Lets hope that something lasting will come out of it. In war it is the common people who suffer.

Trump turned down his request to supply Tomahawks but will he be able to strong arm EU leaders to buy them from America the pass on to the Ukraine? If they don't I can see the end of the conflict before too long.

A few days back Trump said we have plenty of Tomahawks, a lot of Tomahawks, and he was about to give some to Zelensky if Putin doesn't stop. But after a phone call with Putin he started saying that they need Tomahawks for themselves and can't just deplete stocks...

If this happened, the main thing for Russia would be that the US gave Tomahawks to strike against them.

To get Tomahawks for Ukraine, theoretically the EU could offer cash or a deal that would be hard for the US to refuse.

It's all like a theatre...

- This is a Russian drone deliberately attacking Ukrainian civilians!
- This is a Ukrainian drone deliberately attacking their own civilians!

One thing I can say is that some Ukrainians don't like when their civilians give up everything and walk towards the Russian side. It looks bad for the nation. The western media sees it too. But worse is that the Russians can use it to say "see the Ukrainian people want Russian control, etc".

This guy hates Russia probably because he got banged up when he visited there but loves the Ukraine.
It is amazing how pragmatic people become during a conflict.
I just want it to stop.

I watched a few of his videos and heard that he was stopped when he arrived in Russia from China. If I were Russian, I’d stop him too. He visits strange places and looks like an odd simpleton, maybe just pretending. It would’ve been funny if the Russians had found a money‑making scheme hidden behind donations to a newly formed Ukrainian army brigade...

About 10'000 Ukrainian troups are totally surounded and the only option is to either surrender or fight which would be a death sentence. Russia have pulled back from some positions which may only be to give them a break for things to come. 300'000 russian troups are said to be amassing for whatever they have in mind so could it mean the end for the Ukraine or could it mean it becomes a war with NATO?
So little of it all is being said in the news these days

I'd say there aren't that many Ukrainians surrounded in the Pokrovsk area. Maybe 500 at most. But it's possible they had 10,000 there over time. Also, these crazy Russian numbers like 300k are just absurd.

The blue on the right shows where they think Ukrainian troops are. 10K? No chance. Just think about it: where would they all stay? It's most likely small groups scattered here and there. And what about those 300,000 Russians? Lol...

Yes,I think that figure of 300'000 depends on who your getting your information from. It could be a reserve yet to be deployed but no doubt we will find out soon enough.

It seems that there will soon be few men left in Ukraine to cover the ladies so it will be open market for those chasing younger women from abroad or lathorio's that made it through the conflict.
I must say Ukraine women can be stunning

Yes those numbers are crafted to support whoever shares them, because there is always an intent behind them. I doubt any Russian official actually claimed they would send 300k troops to a specific area. The same goes for casualty figures.

In reality, nobody is on the ground with a clipboard counting bodies in real time. Only the Russian MoD knows the real totals. The only true numbers we see come from body exchanges. Ukraine’s side can’t twist the facts when Russians bring 1,000 dead bodies. It's funny how no single outlet here writtes about it.

There is a solution. A simple fix could be to send back Ukrainian draft dodgers who are now living in Europe and not working.

The Ukraine tried to scare those getting out to come back over 2 years ago if I recall correctly by stating they will all get sent back from where they went via diplomatic means unless they returned on their own steam.
Most know that if your sent to the front line their days are numbered.
I'm slotting so I will watch the vid that you posted tomorrow- But is it a case of where your getting your info from?
America seems to me to be allowing it to come to a natural end while the EU/NATO do not have the teeth unless it goes nuc and America joins in.
America and NATO provoked this conflict just as they have done so many conflicts for decades.
They are pushing for a conflict with Venezuela under a bogus claim of stopping drugs.
Blowing up boats so small that they would need 5-6 oil stops to reach America is bullshite. And those who lived those boat bombings where sent back home because they would be exposed in court to have bombed fishermen.
The reps and dems are a uni party that just play a game but the young in America have figured it out so before long life for both sides will become very difficult when it comes to voting and policy.
See the voting in New York the other day.

I follow some Russian and Ukrainian Telegram channels closely. People share what matters most there. Then I compare what each side says about the same event in their chats, and i get a good picture of what's really happening.

They both also post keytakeyws with things that the mainstreem media write about them so essentially i don't need to look elsewhere.

X is usually shite for RU/UA info unless you know the author is reliable. Many simply make things up for propaganda. Some take content from Telegram, post it on X, and add their own spin or bias without linking to the source, so people can't see the original and compare it. Often it turns out to be complete BS.

For maps, i watch a Russian YT channel (Military Summary). He shows info based on both sides and marks things on the map only if there's solid proof, like video from troops of either side that can mean or confirms something.

I also follow AMK Mapping and Suriyakmaps on TG and X. They're both neutral. AMK does great reports. He probably has locals from both sides feeding him info for a few bucks.

America seems to me to be allowing it to come to a natural end while the EU/NATO do not have the teeth unless it goes nuc and America joins in.

Most of the EU jumped in when Biden was in charge. That's to be expected though. Except for a few countries, most will do whatever the US tells them to. The problem now is how to exit it. They've said and done too much already, including saying "peace through strength." So I'd say two ways exist: stop barking and jump in the trenches along with the Ukrainians. Or shut up and live your life.

Lol yeah, Venezuela has the world's most oil.

But the US doesn't care about it. Yeah right...

Who knows what they were blowing up there...

They could easily get their own boat, blow it up, and make a video for whatever propaganda they need.

I saw the Russians brought a plane with ammo for Venezuela. But I doubt it would help them from being destroyed if worst comes to worst. Still, the US could get kicked in the ass too with this ammo. So I reckon it won't go that far. Also, nobody knows what the Russians gave them.

Pokrovsk has fallen and Kupyansk is reported to be not far behind it. Reports are that it is not long before Ukraine will have to give up unless the war pigs come to their aid. so maybe they are using the above to oust Zelenski?
