I just love real life stuff. Autobiographies by those that lived through the war years and those that took part for example. All of the Goons brought our fantastic Autobiographies.I think it's funny how some of the gangsters from days gone by are now minor celebs. In my dark and distant past I used to move in those circles, and knew a lot of 'dodgy' people, including some quite famous ones from London/Bethnal Green, Essex , and ones everyone from Newcastle/Sunderland would know the names of. Their life wasn't glamourous like they make out at all, not while they were heavily involved in stuff, once they made the money and got out many of them have a very nice life now, but wasn't as good as the films and TV programmes make out. There's a LOT missing from what they show.
I got chased down a street in Benwell once with a friend, by Roger Cook and his TV crew, that was quite amusing.
I just lap up those who lived a life even if its years ago such as Pepys

the world is going mad.
And folk have faith in America these days?
