The Remarkable CM Community Thread

I hope everyone had a nice christmas. Mine was splendid. :)

Let's have a little comp for 25 € based on pop trivia. This will either be extremely easy or quite difficult, but we have some very clever members here, so I'll bet it'll be an easy one.

@Harry_BKK's terms as per first post apply, with an addition that the winner must have been a member here before January 01 2019 (some exceptions are obviously needed, so naturally @Kroffe is good to go).

I'm looking for a opening track from a classic rock album. Please name the band and the song. The first one to post the correct answer wins. Payment via Neteller (Skrill or Paypal can be arranged, but will take a few hours to sort out).

Here is the narrative to follow:

A. First, you need to form a sentence with three words (in the same order as the clues). The clues are:

1) a spirit by another name,
2) tells a story about the morning star and the force in the lyrics of this oeuvre.

B. That sentence sounds like a particular master.

C. This master made his first appearance on the silver screen in the same year this remarkable rock album was released. It has a classic opening track. You'll know the answer if you compare it to the answer from section A. as it thematically fits like a glove.

Disclaimer: I'm not entirely sober atm, so please accept my apologies if you're unable to follow my twisted train of thought.

We will find the answer sometime in the year 2525!

Was going to say: Send me an Angel from Scorpions but that has four words and the words are not in the right order.

Will have to think a little longer.

This is what you get when slotting and having Jäger & Julmust in the middle of the night.

A hint: The correct song title has two words.

Since you are a Finn :D

Lucifer's Angel from The Rasmus :D

Not a bad guess, but not the correct answer. :)

The theme of some of the clues (and the correct answer) might seem a bit dark, but they should not be taken literally. I hope nobody gets offended.:D

Got one more since you Finns are big Metallica fans.

Master of Puppets

One of the best albums ever. But not the correct one here. :)

The first clue (A) makes a three word sentence (B) which should reveil the character, who first appeared on the same year the sought album was released (C).

/Did I say I did this while drinking :drink:

Good morning everyone. It seems that what was so clear to me last night, was totally unclear to everyone else :p I'd like to add to my defense the fact that it's the darkest time of the year.

I'll give a couple of hints. Anyone who wants may guess again.

* The first clue (A) is a swedish rock band (1) and the title of one of their songs (2) (see I'm currently listening to... -thread or my avatar for guidance).
* The master in the second clue (B) could be classified as a martian if we use the most stereotypical description available.

Hope this helps :)

Papa Emeritus - Ghost

Yes. The band in the first clue is Ghost. Now find a song by them with 2 words in the title (Infestissumam is not correct here Steve :)).

That's only the first clue which should lead you to the name of that particular master. Who will then lead you to the correct year when the correct album was released (much older than Ghost).

For the first clue Ghost was pretty obvious for another name for a spirit. You do also post a lot about Ghost on here, but the second clue was more difficult. The morning star is another name for Venus but Venus also had another name, Lucifer. So something to do with the devil, which seems to be every song by Ghost

I just couldn’t work out the sounds like a character part so thought I was on the wrong track. If it’s not the one I posted it surely has to be the opening track of one of the other albums. Quick, get the albums up people!
