I have recently had to downgrade from Windows XP and Outlook Express 6 to Windows 8 & Outlook 2010... and the amount of SPAM coming in has gone through the roof! Mostly American crap offering second-hand cars, loans, insurance & dentures! :eek2:

I keep flagging this crap as "block sender" using the Outlook standard tool - but it simply does not work (Spammers using dynamic e-mail addresses).

I need something that can block by a PHRASE, rather than an incoming e-mail address or a single word, because a single word could be used innocently in a mail which is not spam.

Anyone got any suggestions for the BEST anti-spam on the market?
I don't mind paying for the software as long as it works!

Cheers,
KK

I use the spam filter on my ISP's webmail, that way I can set all sorts of filters and it stops probably 80% of the spam before it even downloads. On my own sites I have the servers take care of it, so as far as any plugins for Outlook, I don't know much about them, but you could look at SpamBayes

- I don't know if the Windows 7 version would work on 8 though.
