Once again I have several question marks over my head, as if I were an NPC and could submit a quest to me:
I had a bonus on my third deposit that I lost - shit happens!
Additionally you got free spins on consecutive days, so one day later I had 25 free spins. With this small win from the free spins (approx. €7) I played something to unlock the bonus.
Now I was over €500, but when the bonus was implemented within 1 second my account balance was €147.

Of course, I asked politely in the chat what had happened and why I suddenly had €400 less in my balance.
The answer by email was the good, well-known bonus conditions ;-)
Bonus rules:
4.1.) Max cashout for a bonus or free spins WITHOUT a deposit - €150
5.) Max cashout for freespins WITH a deposit - €2.000

That was the reason for my question in the chat. I thought over €500 was still less than €2,000, so everything was ok for me (I thought) because I had received the free spins for my third DEPOSIT!
But I was made aware that the free spins were from a "welcome bonus" and therefore a maximum cashout of €150 from playing through the free spins bonus.
And yes, first you see 20 points under the bonus rules, THEN follow the rules for the welcome bonus!
A bit confusing in my opinion and of course a bit of a shame.
So I simply gave the casino over €400 within 1 second... it's a little annoying (for the customer) if I'm honest!

But wait a minute:
Should the “normal” bonus rules really be different from the “welcome bonus rules”?

Hi,

Is this more of your Bitkingz stuff? You don't mention what casino you're referring to.
If it is Bitkingz then this should've been posted in your existing Bitkingz thread.

It's a terrible feeling to waste a good win on something with such a low max cashout but 150 euros isn't bad actually, the standard is 100. Some won't even go over 50.

Welcome packages often have stricter conditions than other bonuses because they attract a lot of hit and run players, while if you keep coming back after having exhausted the WP, you'll be considered a regular and will likely be offered bonuses with more fair terms or higher win limits.

I agree it can be confusing when you read through the terms, but it's not like they are hidden. Just read carefully through all of it - twice - and there won't be any surprises.

Hello @maxd

“No, don’t worry, it’s not about this “Bitkingz stuff”.
I deliberately didn't mention the casino because I'm afraid it will be misunderstood again (like last time).
I don't want to denigrate a casino here.
What I want to say with my post is that: There are "different" bonus rules... and only on a single page.

This isn't meant to be a "complaint", just a mention that something like this can be confusing for customers!

Of course, I always read the bonus rules BEFORE: I work on what is important to me, for example:
Playthrough of the bonus, max bet per spin and max cashout after the turnover (years ago I was only able to withdraw €750 from a casino with a win of €2000, that was a little annoying to "give" the casino €1250).

From then on I always do it like this: if I'm a little above the max cashout then I continue playing up to the max cashout point just to have fun a little longer and feel like I'm not giving anything away to the casino - lol.

These are my own rules that I set up... and only for my own fun, which I have with the money I deposited myself! Which is completely legitimate, I think - if I accept their (sometimes crazy) conditions ;-)

Yes, you are absolutely right @SCATT3R
It is really important to ALWAYS read the casino's terms and conditions BEFORE, as they ALWAYS vary slightly (even from casino to casino within a group).
This is also important in my opinion for new players!

If I don't accept the conditions I'll just move on ;-) ... what's the point?!
There are enough casinos out there with rules that I can live with!

Another point like that:

1.7. Cashback is a bonus unless otherwise specified. Any rules that apply to bonuses in general apply to cashback bonuses as well. Cashback carries a wagering requirement of 10x the cashback amount (unless specified elsewhere) and has a max. win limit of 10x the amount received.

The CSA in the chat told me that this rule also applies to welcome bonuses.

But under welcome bonus you can't find anything about it in the rules.

Why aren't the rules just kept transparent?
