holy schnikies!
I hadn't been to this place in 5 years after being horrified by how filthy it was then.
I was amazed how many slots they had now and the place was fairly crowded on a Tuesday night.
It was still filthy. The air was absolutely unbreathable. I mean even a Euro would have been hard-pressed to breath that air!
I saw a lot of very unhealthy, unattractive poor folks hammering away at the slots buttons. (of course I was one of them for an hour) The slots all had this annoying bingo feature on the seperate upper screen that required you to hit the "daub" (play) button several times for each spin.
I got up a whopping 71 cents and decided to make my escape. But then I noticed they had the Beetle Bailey Slots so I took that as a sign. I probably hit 6 or 7 features, none of which paid over 20x. I wound up $10 in the red and skeedaddled. What a joke!
I've never played poker except online so I'm not sure if what I witnessed was the norm. It looked absolutely miserable to me how tightly those players were packed into their 10 player tables. (maybe that's the norm?) It reminded me of a long flight in coach class only with smoking. And if you happened to get a seat next to an obese player you couldn't even move your elbows.
