Now this look an interesting game. I have looked at a few videos on Youtube of this and it looks very high variance. I love the way WMS are not afraid of pushing the boundries and trying something new. Unlike MG and other "playing safe" with these constant 243 way pay clones of clones.




I still wish they would release the Life of Luxury series again online. For me, they were my absolute favourite and cant think for the life of me why on earth they pulled them. Also there are a few missing that Jackpot Party had like a few clones of Zeus and Bruce Lee, hopefully these are not gone and lost forever.

They have been available at land based casinos but not online.

Anyway there is no release dates published yet for the online versions, they are still listed as TBD.

Yes it's been removed from all the casinos in the Betsson group at least. I see that Unibet still have it though.

I have lost quite a bit on this game so i wanted to know if there have been some issues with it.
So i contacted Betsson yesterday to ask them why it has been removed, the support rep didn't know why but he forwarded it to the relevant department and i was told they would get back to me when they had an answer.

I haven't heard back yet, but since its the weekend i guess i will get an answer on Monday.

Well the game already prevents that, you see your bet doesn't affect the win on the Three smaller reel sets it only affects the main reel set.

That's why you get 1x multiplier for the lowest bet and it increases with your bet size. Of course you can then charge up the multipliers with larger bets and then decrease your bet and the Three smaller reel sets will pay exactly the same whatever your bet size as long as they have the multipliers.

So they have thought about all of that, i had such incredible poor runs on this slot that was why when i noticed that they removed it i contacted them to ask why it was removed.

Played it a few times on Unibet and it is a tough nut to crack...
Had those upper reels sometimes up to 30x + and if then the x5 multiplier comes out you could be in for a massive win...
So super high variance I suppose...
Haven't had any big hits yet but I love this slot...

Ok so Betsson got back to me.

Here is their reply in Swedish. ( a lot of casinos claim to offer Norwegian support but i always seem to get a Swedish support agent, oh well)

Hoppas det går bra att svaret kommer på svenska angående spelet 'Roman Chariots'.

Vi har fått till oss informationen att det var spelleverantören som var tvungen att ta ner spelet på grund av underhåll, detta påverkade inte utbetalningar utan allt annat var precis som vanligt. Då vi jobbar med teknik så kan det vara så att spel och andra tjänster inte fungerar som planerat och då måste detta åtgärdas, beklagar för eventuella olägenheter.

I hope it's ok that the answer is in Swedish regarding the game 'Roman Chariots'.

We have been informed that it was the game supplier(WMS) that was forced to take the game down for maintenance, this did not affect the pays of the game, and everything else was perfectly normal.

Since we are working with technology sometimes games or other services might not work as intended and this then have to be fixed, sorry for any inconvenience.

Seems odd to me that they claim that it was the provider since some sites like Unibet still have the game live
I just have to take their word for it that the game paid as intended, i have however asked for my personal stats on this game as i am curious as to what my RTP is and how many spins i have done.

Roman Chariots has to be one of the worst WMS slots released, yes it looks cool but honestly it is extremely frustrating to play, when you finally get some decent multipliers you get the red horn, and everything is gone.
And i could not for the life of me hit anything worthwhile(i.e. 100x or more)

Awful slot but not their worst. Yahtzee is even worse. I tried Roman Chariots at both Betsson and Unibet and it was working alot better at Unibet. Maybe that's why it got pulled at Betsson and not at Unibet?

I don't know what WMS are doing really. Yahtzee, Roman Chariots and the two upcoming ones all look really bad. Looking at YouTube-videos i'm convinced WMS has the best slot but they release crappy ones online.

When i first asked for my Roman Chariots stats/RTP i was told that i had lost 6700NOK/815€ on it, ok fair enough that doesn't really tell me much and i already knew that i am down on the game, in fact i thought i had lost around 10 000NOK/1200€.

I then tried to explain to support that i wanted a breakdown of number of spins, amount wagered, amount lost/won, RTP.
Like you get when you ask for your stats/RTP of an MG/NetEnt slot. But it seems like WMS doesn't offer the same sort of thing.(at least not in a format that this idiot can understand )

I hope someone can tell me what the numbers in the file means in terms of how much I've wagered and lost and thus my RTP.

Yeah thats just a bit confusing haha, not sure if they are adding on an extra 0 or even two 0's to every field or just forgetting a decimal place/comma. I assume your not depositing tens of thousands of nok several times a day so that must be the only thing viable.

Ok, since i couldn't make any sense of the document they sent me i manually retrieved all my spins from my account statement. ( it's cool that they offer this but it's extremely time consuming to do, next time I'll just ask them to email me this in a xml file instead of having them try to get me some readable stats...)

The spin count mentioned in the document is correct, the amount of money lost that they first reported is correct. As for the rest of the numbers in the document, i have no idea what the hell they mean or where they got them from, they make no sense to me.

But now i have what i wanted, i had to get it myself but at least i have it




My RTP was 85%, but what's truly shocking is that there are no wins to speak of, getting ahead in a session on this slot is almost impossible.

Of course 3157 spins isn't much but it was enough to put me off this game for good.

I have also done a few hours of 10x speed in free play(around 15K spins) and the biggest win I've seen is 150x

Stay away from Roman Chariots unless you are a glutton for punishment!

I have come to the conclusion that Roman Chariots is the worst game WMS have released online.

I have sat ALL day today and gone through £250 at min 40p bet without a win over £10. I think since the "down time" the game had, its near impossible to get a bank of multipliers built up. The red horn of death seems guaranteed to come in within 100 spins at the most. (Did have it 3 spins on the trot). The full stacks are hard enough to get, but the bonus is nigh on impossible and I have noticed they seem to have added more red horns since the "down time" there are now strips of 3 maybe 4 right near the bonus scatter. The green horns are rare and generally crap.

Anyone else had a really bad impression of this one? Unlike Bruce Lee, I just dont see where the potential is and these 100+ multipliers are things of fantasy. Dire Dire game and I was really looking forward to playing it when I first saw it.
