Some advice - loss limit NOT applied to sister casino

So I had an account with a top UK online casino. I signed on after seeing some streamers playing on the site so thought it was reliable.
They did the standard KYC checks and limited me to a loss limit of £650 a month.
(abit odd as it’s around £2k on other sites).. anyway, I found myself going abit degenerate one night.
I had used up the loss limit on the first site and ended up signing up to a sister site.
In my past experience with other sites, as soon as I do this, my limits carry over automatically to the sister sites.
however, I ended up putting in thousands in that night with no luck. They have now emailed me asking me to explain why I put in so much when I should know my limit is £650?

surely it is upon them and their site to limit me across the board with sister sites etc?
Any help as to how I could possibly get my deposits back would be appreciated!

Pinnit2014 really? I had an account with virgin and they automatically spread the limit across the board.
I was banned off 21casino for arguing with the manager with constant bets taken off and they banned me from literally everything they own lol

Loss limits, in my experience - only apply to individual casinos. I don't think it's fair that anyone can expect the casino to 'anticipate' where you will sign up next. As per the UKGC guidelines, they implement limits and KYC all players.

If they were to match details across brands and implement limits where no play has taken place or even where no account exists, it would be an administrative nightmare. Maybe other casinos have implemented this, but they all run off different frameworks. What might be possible at one, may not be possible at another group.

Why did you not use the loss limits on the website? They are there to assist players from going overboard.

Just the other day, someone was screaming at the L&L and claiming games were rigged as bets were rejected. It turned out that it was the loss limit the player had put it place that prevented them from betting more.

Players can't have it both ways. If you think you have an issue, there are plenty of tools available to help you limit play.

As for the deposit part - you gambled it. You took the chance. If you had won, L&L would have paid. You lost. Is it fair to expect deposits back?

Aye, I've always thought limits are per-casino, same as time-outs.

Self-exclusion is per licence, natch.

Same as others, I've never used them so can't say what the terms say, but I wouldn't expect to set a loss limit of say £50 on All British then not be able to play at any other in the group because of it.
With a casino set limit I would though. If they decide to do an affordability check and say you can afford £200 a month, I think it would be irresponsible to allow £200 a month at each casino.
