So this is what I'm up to.

I've been out here for a few weeks with a few more weeks to go. I'm building a garage/studio/stables for future adventures at my place in the desert.

It's a bit smokey out here from all of the fires up north. It's been averaging about 30 - 35 degrees C in the day - about 15 at night. The Internet here is very slow,so my online capabilities are limited. But you see that I am here working for real. LOL

I am working on some glamping pods as well. I will be posting those picts when they are looking like something you'd want to stay in

Went metal detecting around an old native American settlement on the property.There are a couple of them. Here is yesterday's booty

A 22. calibre bullet, and old timey bullet casing, and a load of odds and ends like this clipped chain link.

The casing wss buried about a foot deep, so it's more than likely pretty old.

I presume that you have one or two fishing places close to you? If you have then why not look into magnet fishing at the same time as you go fishing? Very old settlements could be very lucrative
