Something must be going on across the financial transaction processing world...

No I am not a person who believes in conspiracies, but there is definitely a tightening of the deposit processing world. The sites I have played at for the last year are now getting much more restrictive.

Late 2009 to mid 2010 I could use my Mastercard/debit card linked to my checking account at virtually any casino without problem. It worked at Slots Oasis and all the CWC sites. Then it stopped working.

I turned to my VISA credit cards and Amex all worked fine until this past week. Now I am down to just a few that will take my Amex, but my VISA debit card linked to another checking account still works.

Prepaid VISA cards work at *some* sites without hassle, other sites require you to photocopy the prepaid Visa (why if PREPAID???) front and back and then they will allow you to use it as a deposit method.

Villento takes my debit cards, but I haven't found a credit card that will work there, nor for some reason does it allow me to use QT for deposits.

When I ask support at the sites via live chat why a previously accepted card is no longer working, I consistently get the standard response that "Some cards are working and others are not being accepted by our processor" But they won't give a specific direction and tell me that its "some" but not all Mastercards, not all Visa cards, etc. So its random but definitely tighter.

QT and my Visa logo debit card from a credit union are the two that most consistently continue to work. But that's about it.

Worst I have seen it --- but then again I am only at a bit more than a year of experience with the online slots casinos. I can still deposit as needed at the online poker rooms I utilize.

FWIW

If you can/could use a credit/debit card for depositing at any online casino since UIGEA, you are very lucky.

Most US players haven't been able to use them in while. My debit card hasn't worked at a Rival or anywhere else since June.

We were told to expect this problem so it's not a surprise to most.

I use Quicktender. If you don't have an account, as whichever casino you play at most to issue you an invitation. Fees are a little cheaper than EWX I think.

I am down to just 2 credit cards that will work at online casinos and one Visa Logo debit card.
