looking for opinions on this: i didn't see a good quality clip but they showed someone singing america's anthem on tv and it sounded like he made the second to last line "...land of the FREAK". he might have just been trying to be all cool doing a sound effect kind of thing at the end of the phrase (like mj's little "sha-mon-eh" lmao), or taking a sharp breath for the big finish, and i mean he was a terrible singer so it all sounded crap anyway, but it felt to me like he was trying to get one off on bush or americans.
so how much of a blashpeme slash act of terrorism would sullying the anthem with such vicious egregiousness be? personally i find it despicable, even worse than cursing in church. especially on or around independence day (4th of jew lie?). to piss on the customs of a group, and weasel your way onto the airwaves to present that customary address, and then pushing your own agenda through a cheap dig is just pathetic and lame. the only thing worse would be if he tried to sneak howard stern's penis into a verse. what are your guys's thoughts?
and i'll jack my own thread with i like those what are they called, oh right mondegreens, when you hear words that sound the same as other words. sort of like the mad gab game, but more relevant to songs. once i say some you'll realize...
"excuse me while i kiss this guy"
"there's a bathroom on the right"
"hold me closer, tony danza"
isn't that cool?
