New Slot Announcement San Quentin xWays by NoLimitCity 150,000x potential!

I've had a natural 4 scatter once so far, really really interested in the odds for 5 scatters ...

I think NLC’s silence to date speaks for itself. Maybe they just haven’t got around to it yet....

The odds of hitting 5 scatters in the base game are either zero, or very close to it - surely. On that, I think we would all agree!?

It’s probably not something the provider wants to admit to, or converse on, but it’s blaringly obvious to anyone who’s given this slot a solid go.

I would say that the most probable way to hit 5 scatters in the base game would be to upgrade during a 4 scatter trigger feature. Although, I’ve yet to see it myself.

A 3 to 4 scatter upgrade however hasn’t been too hard to achieve so far. I don’t know what the longer term odds will turn out to be, but my upgrade strike rate currently stands at ~3%. So about one in every 35 features I’ve been hitting the fourth bonus symbol. Best upgrade win so far ~2,800x (0.60 stake). Worst ~190x (0.20 stake).

If you can find the power to remain patient and resist the allure of feature buys (which can burn you fast and lead to instant tilt), when things get boring and frustrating as hell because you’re hitting useless paying 3 scatter features all over the place (we’ve all been there), then your luck may just come good on this one without breaking the bank.

I find that low rolling on auto spins while watching Netflix for eg. works well for me. Reduces the temptation to buy-in when the slot keeps reminding me that I’ve dropped the soap again!

Lol, thought I was about to eat my words in the most spectacular way when the first three bonuses landed on 1,2 and 3. Unfortunately not even a fourth. End result, an entirely respectable 130x.

My experiences for NoLimit San Quentin slot after a few hundred (200?) bonus buys, real money a mix of 0,20 100xBB and EUR 0,20 400xBB mostly:
- win/loss: about breakeven with EUR 1000 swings
- upgrade from 3 to 4 open reels: 15 times
- biggest win: 1300x on a 400xBB. A handful of times around 900-1000x on 100xBB
- upgrade from 4 to 5 reels: twice from 400xBB, and once all the way from 100xBB
- the number of spins and which reels are open didn't matter all too much for the end results
- huge timing tell when a spin has a wild column. I play turbo + slam stop
- overall an excellent slot. Biggest BB a bit too expensive for me

Been playing this as much as i could, and do really like the slot. I'm definitely not a fan of the bonus buy in general, but can appreciate the possibility. Don't know if this actually 'promotes' irresponsible behaviour. If you see a needle filled with dope, would you shoot yourself up with it, then blame whoever put it there? Just my opinion. I personally have zero issues not pressing a bonus buy, but i also have enjoyed a few, when up.

I also had terrible experiences with huge balances and 'regular' old school bonus buys, like those 'Big Bets' from WMS/Barcrest, where i had the most unlikely return, on the advertised +RTP, which was a costly but useful lesson.

On the bonuses: had a few upgrades to 4, which paid well, and only one natural 4 scatter trigger, which didn't pay well at all :)
Still hoping for a 5 scatter trigger, or upgrade, but just hit this, from a 3 scatter trigger that upgraded to 4, with the top symbol x4, and i honestly thought it would've paid more, but i'll take it:

Was a late one that session from the above screen: plotted on and hit this later:

Iirc, that spin alone was worth the bulk of that total win amount, and i really don't quite understand why, in comparison to the above screen? Is that x8 wild so powerful here? The other one has the top symbol, and about as many ways, as far as i could tell :p
I'll take it though!

Mental slot, really great for longer sessions regardless of the insane variance.

Degsy with his standard 1000x first time he plays a slot that he’d been slating!!!

I gave this a go few days ago. Played for about an hour on min stake. Took about £40 to give feature which was dog shit but then gave another which went just over 100x.

I found the base rather tedious. Pet hate of mine in games is stuff expanding or doing things even when there is no win there, just a waste of time. Like degsy I found the random pictures popping up on losing spins both unfunny and after a while annoying. I know in the uk we can’t have turbo spins but the spins take to long imo and I find myself out of frustration constantly clicking the start button trying to hurry things up!!

But tbf it’s not a bad game that ticks along. But not being able to play it faster is a real nause for me.

Quite the buzz here, especially around the massive bonus buy which doesn't seem to fit all of you - no surprise there really. You know our stance since before I guess, it's an option for the player to use or not use - unless you're in a regulation that doesn't allow for BB. It's not "streamer bait" from our end, the more volatile games seems to be more in demand really - just that simple.

This game is a monster from two perspecitives - the massive max win potential and also the big buy feature. We're open with how often that will hit in the game rules, and to be surprised that it's not gonna happen very often is an odd one. It's not just a single jackpot, it's also wins up until 150k mark of course. The biggest win so far is 149 631x in the first month since release.

It becomes quite the volatile game with such a big max win cap - but from my biased point of view the game plays really well both in main game and the 3, 4 and 5 bonus rounds. 5 bonus rounds is not as a volatile option compared to buy 3- or 4 Bonus version, but the swings in terms of balance is bigger. Jonas posted some data about the 5B version:

  • 0 – 1.000x ~28%
  • 1.000 – 2.000x ~43%
  • 2.000 – 4.000x ~21%
  • 4.000 – 10.000x ~7%
  • 10.000x + ~1%
  • 150.000x 1 in ~91.000
By the way, we've got a new dude at Nolimit that will take care of the affiliate and marketing side of things, hence my focus will turn more towards the games once again - so please be kind to @Nolimit City - Peter .

Thanks @ChopleyIOM for making the video and congrats on the 900x+ win!

Thanks for that Pelle :)

Forgive me for just coming straight out and asking a rather blunt question here, but do you think the 'rape joke' with the soap is really appropriate? There's just no context in which I think rape should be joked about.

TBH I found that animation really quite unpleasant, there are so many other prison tropes you could have used instead.

It's a joke of course, nothing more than that. What you should and shouldn't joke about is up to everyone to decide. I'd say that a shank is a bit more unpleasant - but it's a prison theme slot, so it's really a interpretation of popular movies and TV-shows, it's not a documentary in anyway.

I'll go back in my bubble for a bit, we've got lots to do and in a day or so you might focus your Nolimit discussions on another game...

What, like prisoners beating up other prisoners for a gram of spice? It's a gritty theme, that's what you get. Plus the addition of soap would presumably make it less painful for the wide receiver...

Kudos for asking the question though.

@NolimitCity - Pelle demand from who? The Industry or the consumer? Perception is reflection and if every provider swamps the market with slots like this then your shaping your own future and not reacting to consumer demand. Social responsibility? Ethics?

You get my can of worms award:

Xan of worms.jpg

A new award you will be pleased to receive as it avoids lengthy discussions, where one side tries to portray an innocent ideology whilst the other disproves it with logic and facts, allowing you to get on with your day!

Congrats!

@Nolimit City - Peter welcome!

I am No Limit City's biggest fan! You would have heard me spoken about at the office :)

Where is that, I had a look and didn't see it on the winners enclosure, was it a bonus buy?

Has anyone ever got a bonus symbol with in the bonus it self to give you extra spins and another jumping wild

Been playing this for ages and never seen it before, not even in the paytable

Ya mate.

I bought a 4 scatter when on a hot run on race casino. On last spin it gave me a scatter.
Got 2 extra spins with the third wild. It paid quite well. I will see if I can get the replay from no limit on race.

I know BB aren't an option for you UK guys?
