RTG 100% guaranteed strategy but is it abuse?

Thank you all!

Wow I really appreciate you guys nominating my post I did not expect actual nomination and I was surprised to see a big check mark with post nominated :) it looks kind of nice, and also this will encourage unknown strategies to get posted by players. Thank you all for the nomination,I know a lot of loop holes that I hesitate to post but if I can get nominated for them I shall post them now hehehe

Said players will also receive an invite to be a keynote speaker at the 2009 Advantage Players' Convention, held in the middle of the Nevada Desert:rolleyes:

Feel free to hesitate all you like;)

Maybe casino operators could PAY you for the information, and you could make a good living that way.

I expect most "loopholes" are well known, and by casino operators as well as players, but are seldom mentioned in public, and do not become a problem.

A few have indeed become a HUGE problem, even without the actual method being posted as publically as this RTG one. This leads to so many players finding out that the casinos have to take a "knee jerk" reaction to the problem, which shows up as a rash of complaints in the forum.

For a test of your knowledge of "loopholes", do you know what happened in Summer 2006 that caused many Microgaming casinos to take a "knee jerk" reaction claiming "illegitimate play" rather than "bonus abuse" or "fraud" - indeed, for the record, no bonuses were even involved, which made the situation REALLY tricky for the casinos given that it was SLOTS play that was involved (NOT Tomb Raider 2 by the way;) ).

O_O

They may well be in touch with you some time;)

They may, however, have to unexpectedly tidy up their positions, and are not going to be too happy about it either.

You, as a newbie, would have to attend alone, and unarmed. There will then be an initiation ceremony where you will have to demonstrate your method at a casino of THEIR choice, with your own money. Palace of Chance has been selected for the 2009 initiation ceremonies:D

I renember this little promotion vid from last years

omg palace of chance lol!

I remember the "PALACE OF FAT CHANCE YOUR GOING TO GET PAID" quote in the rogue section...Hey are you saying the casinos are going to send henchmen after me ? :) seriously where do you get all this info on the advantage player ceremony,I wonder if they will send me there to get assassinated lol

I do not find the 'build up the bank' strategy abuse. It is the shady section of bonus play. But if the T&C does not mention anything about it, it is legal until it specific mentions it. One of the challenges of gambling is to find
an edge. And this is an important aspect for any succesfull gambler. For me that is also part of ' the game' besides playing the casino games.

In fact this strategy is similar to building up loyalty points which you redeem later. Rival casino are generous with loyalty point and the have no roll-over. With a 100$ bonus it is common to build up 5$ loyalty. I always only redeem these in combination with a cashout.

Was it the the original EZBonus rules where you could cashout at any time and forfeit unconverted bonus?

Another good MG slot 'strategy' is the double up feature. If a double up enabled slot gives you a good feature round. (maybe 200$). Then leave the game. Later (even after cashout) when you get a bonus you can go back to this slot and THEN take the double up as first thing. This is again similar to the agressive roulette betting on a bonus. Except it is done on slots and with no house egde. I am not sure this still works, but it did for a long time. I had up to 3 double-up features on different slots waiting for me at the same casinos sometimes.

So, you're saying that you'll receive the winnings, then quit the game, come back in and double it with no risk involved? That's all out fraud, if you ask me. If the casino catches this, they would have every right to void all of their play, refund deposits and lock their account.

Seeing as how the first scenario is out and out thievery, how can you even compare it to an aggressive roulette betting strategy? At least with that, there is still an element of risk involved. What you described in the beginning is a 100% no-risk EXPLOIT in the double-up slots. I can assure you that the double-up feature in any game wasn't programmed to work like that, and is definitely a loophole.

Oh well, at least now when a MG rep comes across this thread and reads all about this, I'm sure they'll pass it on to MG and they'll close up the hole, if it still exists.

No, I can not double with empty balance. I need the credits in my balance at least the size of the gamble. But I do this with a new deposit(+bonus). There still is a risk. Just like agressive roulette betting with a bonus.
The reason to do it with slots, is that you can play slot-only bonuses this way. (and the house egde is a little better)

Gotcha. Told ya I was confused. I thought you were talking about a risk-free doubleup opportunity ;)

Nope, I said "sometimes no bonus was involved".

The slot double up still sits around after you exit the game, however there is no "exploit" in the software, other than being able to make a large 50/50 bet "roulette style" on a slot with a loyalty slots bonus for existing players. This probably explains the odd term I spotted at Purple Lounge, where the double up feature on slots was so "prohibited" that they could confiscate winnings if you used it with a bonus.

NewOrleans has proved to be full of "hot air" though, it seems the RTG strategy with Frozen Assets is the only "knowledge" he ever had, and it was even guarded against in the bonus rules for the Virtual casinos.

It seems his rant at the Palace Group was what got him banned in the end, I have no idea WHAT he was smokin' - but it surely has to be stronger than what Rival "were smokin'" when they bonus banned a player for "the way they played the slots" (unless, of course, they have a double-up feature like the ones at MG;) ).
