Shame Roccos cant respond, as the noose was getting tighter. I did wnat to hear some real questions answered.

Roccos, I am sure you are aware Alexandre is actually quite competent when it comes to software, while I cant pride myself in that, hence I used and downloaded your software.

I am happy I have saved a few others of their hard earned cash. I am not saying I dont want my money back, but thats what the forum is all about

You should have read the rules when signing up here - and you don't eff around in Casinomeisterland. And we have some pretty sharp members that shouldn't be taken for chumps.

Bye.

Sheesh...and then having "Cluedup" on the Jackpot Winners list at the casino  That's gotta be one of the best examples of deceptive behaviour in a long time.

See? This is what happens when you treat players like stupid sheep. What comes around goes around. Players aren't as stupid as some may think - especially players who are webmasters. Many webmasters have honed investigative skills such as checking into backgrounds of websites via tools that many of us have at our disposal.

The first thing I noticed was that funky bald guy on their opening graphics. I've seen him before on some Playtech casino site. I can't for the life of me remember which one - there is a thread here somewhere because I was cracking a joke on how ugly/dodgy he looks, and he didn't even have his hand on the blond girl's ass. :D Most guys be grabbin' dat.

Someone find the thread, post it here and I'll give you 15 rep points :D

Vinny, you thief!

Well, well - they now have terms for bonuses, including this:-

All Initial Deposit Welcome Bonuses, 888-Day Bonuses (88 Bonus) and Happy Hour Bonuses received via funds Deposited by NETELLER may be Cashed Out only after an amount totaling no less than 50 times the Bonus amount has been wagered.

All Initial Deposit Welcome Bonuses, 888-Day Bonuses (88 Bonus) and Happy Hour Bonuses received via funds Deposited by Moneybookers may be Cashed Out only after an amount totaling no less than 200 times the Bonus amount has been wagered.

This is cut n paste from 888.com - you even have the exact same Neteller and Moneybookers terms!!!!

What a complete prat!! You target the UK, but have these draconian terms against non-credit card deposits. Given what is unfolding, the LAST thing you want is us UK peoples using our credit cards - we can attempt chargebacks, not something we could easily do with Neteller and Moneybookers.
Put a foot wrong (probably have already), & the Advertising Standards Agency will have you, and all your UK and EU advertising will be banned.

We can expect an answer soon, another quick shill account created, couple of posts, and banned.

There is so much wrong here they should be "not recommended" at the very least, and if they have ripped off 888 (which seems almost certain), they need to be rogued without further ado (outright theft & dishonesty, shows what they are capable of when it comes to paying players).

Many of these really bad low-lifes seem to skulk around in Costa Rica (remember the Royal Dutch clowns?) and that underlines the need for special care when a gambling operation claims that nebulous thing: "Licensed in Costa Rica" LOL

This thread should serve as a warning to scammers and creeps like this, because it is a good illustration of the investigative skills that a predominently player community can bring to bear in exposing them.

Round of applause for all here who contributed to outing the schizophrenic Karl Joseph!

On the positive side it was a really good laugh to watch the expose unfold and this "manager" increasingly make a fool of himself.

The cherry on the top will be some action by 888.com, and I hope that materialises. It would be great to hear that they have lowered the boom and Roccos Casino will have a somewhat different appearance (if an appearance at all) in the near future.

While back I found it, thought looked ok, but was bit unsure bout it all - so tried it out in practise play - made notes of my gameplay in case I forgot & deposited.

Session 1 - BJ - Won 1, Lost 9
Session 2 - BJ multi-hand, Won 1, Lost 9
Session 3 - Roulette (bet on red) - Won 3, Lost 17
Session 4 - VP JOB (single hand) - 5/hand, starting bal. 375 -achieved better than a JOB just the twice before busting out.

I also had the same probs regarding dealer in BJ winning, when hadn't etc.

Was also bemused at the time, by the presence of an Amex logo as a payment method, now gone.

Anyone from Brighton here who could check this address?

Name & Registered Office:
GLOBAL INTERSAFE LIMITED
4 WITHDEAN COURT AVENUE
BRIGHTON

It's unbelievable!!! thanks to all guys for their researches, it's really worth to do.
Today I'll write some news about them to prevent my visitors from them.

How to check their jurisdiction, they can write whatever they want on their sites, maybe they even aren't licensed.

I think 888.com and 32Red should know about them. And I think it's important to write a report to all search engines about them.

This is probably a rented maildrop, no actual offices there. However, if there is a representative, this is the place to serve a writ. As they are marketing to the UK, this is what will get them collared by Trading Standards - a UK address for the beneficial owner, it matters not that the casino itself is in Costa Rica, the company itself is here, and if it has ANY assets here, they are a target.
A good many dodgy casinos (as well as good ones) have UK addresses, often just small offices or maildrops.
The postcode covers only a small number of buildings, so it should be possible to locate them pretty accurately, but it will take a member close by to take a look at the premises and report back.

Looks like a sidestreet off from the main high street into Brighton. Would likely be a rented office/maildrop.

So whose site are they scraping now:rolleyes:

Perhaps some 888.com "thugs" had a "quiet word" with them;)

We should keep an eye on them, just so newbies are not fooled by the rebranding.

AND! Leaving the "888-day" promotion in the terms and conditions, just in case anyone was in any doubt they'd completely ripped off a more famous/established site :lolup::lolup::lolup:

So funny.

I hope 888 etc hunt them down like the rabid dogs they are - and put them out of their misery...

yo i'm going to sign up there. i could really use 5 iphones. they will sell for their weight in gold (what is it, 6 ounces?) on ebay. what a dumb casino giving 5 phones to each new signup. i will hold them to it too, i will say please consult your webpage, where it clearly states "we will be giving away 5 free iphones!! to all new registrations" so booyakasha my peeps in the heezy.

in the written words tattooed on monster garage's jesse james's palm, "pay up $ucka"

Maybe I should sign up another 5 accounts, to get my money back, chasing my losses. Or maybe just to get the iphones.

They probably will put it into a "computer randomized" system to choose a winner.

And the winners are............................

CLUEDUP
CLUEDUP1
CLUEDUP2
CLUEDUP3
CLUEDUP4

Please note none of these users are affiliated to Roccos casino. They have won serious cash on this casino (prior to launching). In fact this user no longer plays at the casino, but still won, so cannot claim the prize.

"Winner"? They said they would be giving them away. There's no mention at all of a drawing

clearly says giving 5 free iphones to all new registrations. but i think they will give away zero iphones because a person who registers is a registrant, not a registration. surely they don't read here, so i haven't given them any outs by posting this;)

Cool! I am sure Roccos will give you one of their free phones!

Just wondering, you wrote, "One of the members had thought that they had buggy software". What does "thought" mean. I think I had proven quite clearly without any doubt its bugged :what:
In this sense "Thought" pertains to the thinking process.

Don't know if this helps in the slightest but found it all interesting...

To purchase their Last set of Accounts and last tax return, and Current Appointments Report (for 1 each)...

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

General Company info, including the odd fact that they used to be called Caterequipment Ltd....

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

What's the betting their tax return includes hefty charges for R&D towards their superior software, to maintain their status as UK's most trusted online casino?

Very funny thread indeed. Schizo-Karl is truly one of the great clowns of our times.

And since no one else pointed it out, I guess I'll have to mention this one: How dumb would you have to obviously rig your software *in practise mode* as well? Hehe...

Another one bites the dust -uh!

..and another one gone and another one gone and another one bites the dust - UH!

Went through the back door and opened an account, deposit pages are still there. Freaks.

I have taken this issue up with my Credit Card company, since in the UK the Cards have a responsibility. The response I got was
I have reviewed all the documentation you have supplied to xxxxxxx and I would like to point out the following:

I appreciate that you are an experienced player, however, the comments you have made regarding the unfair result is in your opinion. You have provided no proof to support your claim.
There is no guarantee that you would win detailed in the Terms and Conditions and the software was provided so the goods were received.
There is no proven breach of contract.
The program was available and you were able to play the game so the merchandise was not defective.
This was after showing them my logs, and pointing clearly to the discrepencies on the games played out by the Dealer

It beats me that they think I am complaining about the "losing streak" (which was a bit strange, as a side point), however I have never claimed that was wrong, as it can't be proven with such a small amount of games.

I have taken this up with the Ombudsman, and have directed them to this site, and hopefully they will make some sense out of it.

Looks like RoccosCasino is back !
Finally they didn't sell the domain even if we can see an update in their WHOIS info made the 14th of september.
Is 888 aware of this thread ?
I'm asking that because this casino has 100% cloned their software (maybe I'll provide some screenshots later on), opened a company with almost the same name (Global Intersafe for RoccosCasino instead of Intersafe Global for 888), had 888's name written everywhere on their website, etc...in brief, they have made everything to abuse players using 888's brand.
So what happened to the guy behind this scam and to his website ?
He is still alive and his website is still online.
Conclusions:
1. 888 don't care about their brand. We've done the job of spotting RoccosCasino for them and they aren't even capable to finish it.
2. There's a business opportunity here. Actually I'm looking for developers to clone a famous casino software. PM-me for more details (joke).
3. Like always in this industry, players get fooled and pay the bill.

It's a cop out by the card company. They are trying tricks like this because they believe the consumer credit act does not apply to purchases abroad. They may also attempt to regard a gambling deposit as a "cash advance" and could try to wriggle out that way.
Claiming the games are rigged is not the best way to mount a claim, unless you can get this verified by an "expert witness". To mount a claim, you have to show the site was a fraud in some way. You would have better luck by showing they have "done a runner" and ditched the website.
As for card companies having a "responsibilty", far from it, almost ANYONE can take VISA or Mastercard, vetting is in hindsight, if they get too many SUCCESSFUL complaints about a merchant, they will withdraw their right to take VISA or Mastercard.
Hopefully, if you made a good case to the ombudsman, you might find you CAN get the money back based on the site using false advertising they mislead you by claiming they are the "UK's most trusted casino", which is a lie because they are using the "Rocco" brand without permission, and have made a false claim about trustworthiness (False because they have not been around long enough to gain any kind of standing).
You can also take a claim before the small claims court.
