Ive discovered RoccosCasino.com (UK focused) 1 month ago while I was digging for SEO optimized casino websites.
In the beginning I thought it was a copy of the 888 software but after looking for the company who was behind the website, Ive found it was owned by Intersafe Global a sister company of Cassava Enterprises, the legal name of 888.
But the most interesting thing is that website and software are the first to be fully developped under Microsfot .Net language.
I was wondering when we were going to see this because its obvious that in the future (I wont list the reasons here), most of the casino sofwtares are going to be developped this way.
The website URL extension are .aspx and you need to install the .Net framework to use the software.
I feel that its a kind of experiment from 888 because there are few users who have the the .Net framework instaled on their computer and you need to download a huge file from Microsofts website to run the software.
Also the look and feel isnt as good as the orginal software.
For example, if you look at the slots, youll see for 1 second the final results of the spinning wheel at the moment you click on the spin button, before the reels start spinning...not very sexy.
Also if you use a 16/9 screen like on the 17 laptop screen, you wont be able to see the registration form properly in the software window.
It looks very buggy but Im impressed by this moove and by the SEO work done on this website....I wouldnt have done better myself and Im sure we will see soon RoccosCasino.com on competitive querries in Google.
On the other side, the name of the casino surprises me...all the people I've talked with about it told me the same thing: "It makes me think about Rocco Sifredi, the famous italian male pornstar". Not very glamour.
Does anyone know something about this ?

any1 knows if i have got signup bonus at casinoonnet, then am i still eligible for sihnup bonus at roccos?

Interesting post, Alexandre.

I think your comment about more widespread use of Microsoft.net language may be borne out by a recent report on the new Betfair development centre in Roumania, which noted that Microsoft.net was among the languages they were using to develop a new sportsbetting platform and improvements to existing products like poker.

I'm not too sure what this .net stuff is. It is an option that does not come with Windows, but I have found a few things that require it & have put it on my new PC - the first time it crashed!!!! Incompatable with Windows - WTF Bill:mad:
I tried again because I wanted to install digital rights management & "4od", which offers a selection of UK's Channel 4 programming, including for free the last 7 days or so of selected broadcast programs.
It is also required by the Grand Privvy companion (although not any more:p)

It's a big file, but with broadband and a decent PC it should be worth the effort for the future. It seems better to install it first, rather than let software try and pre-install it on finding it not present (this might be why I had the original crash). Once installed, Windows update will take care of managing fixes and upgrades.

I played this casino a while back. Its quite clearly rigged. I played I think 30 games, and lost about 25 of them. I then played some more, and it continued like that

You can try it in the play gaming, and it seems to have the same rigged outcone

It would definatly be interesting to hear from others, but this sftware seems unfair

Not at all!

They have nothing to do with 888, and there software is a clone of 888, but obviously the RNG will be different.

The software is their own, and once you play there, you will see what I mean

What makes you think the software is a clone ?
As I wrote in my first post, I've found out that RoccosCasino.com is "owned by Intersafe Global a sister company of Cassava Enterprises, the legal name of 888".
Maybe you have other information you would like to share with us but you just forgot to ?
On the other hand, claiming that a software is rigged after 30 games, without giving any further information, is just a poor statement I won't even loose time to comment.

I contacted them, and they told me they are not affiliated in any way to 888, how did you find out that they are?

You are right that I cannot say for difinate that it is rigged. I have played in many casinos, and having tried playing there and other reports that I have heard about them (other layers thinking its an unfair game), the games on BJ seems rather unfair.

It was actually 39 games, and I won 5 of them, I may have played a couple of games wrong, due to software problems, (ie you click a button, software doesnt respond, then you find out that the software has responded, so i thought i pressed deal, bothing happened, i clicked agin the cards game, and it hit for me)

I have the logs, and, which i can put up if required. The games dont even play and pay correctly

I cant say for definate thats why I ended I would like to hear from anyone else

Intersafe Global by the way is a payment processor, and has nothing to do with ownership Old / Expired Link

Cassava Enterprises, has nothing to do with Roccos, and I would be very interested if you shared your source

They are and independent "company" and are absolutely not affiliated to 888.com

There is Global Intersafe and Intersafe Global.
http://www.roccoscasino.com/about.aspx: "www.roccoscasino.com & www.roccospoker.com are wholly owned by Global Intersafe Limited".
http://www.intersafeglobal.com: "Intersafe Global (Europe) Ltd. is part of the 888 Group".

According to http://www.gobignetwork.com/profiles/Karl-Joseph.aspx, the director of Global Intersafe is/was looking for funding, this would hardly be necessary, if the company were connected to 888.com.

The graphics on roccoscasino is similar to 888.com's.

My guess would be is that Roccos has nothing to do with 888.com, but is trying to create an impression that it has.

http://www.roccoscasino.com/about.aspx:
"we are proud to be licensed and regulated by the Government of Costa Rica." I can hardly wait to deposit all my money there.

This an interesting one I think.

Looking at the site design, colours and graphics, along with the use of the "Global Intersafe" name, one gets the distinct impression that this is related to Cassava/888.com/Casino On Net.

I wonder if that is not intentional to deceive players into thinking they are playing with a big well established company?

This UK-facing site is another of those Costa Rica "licence" places with ownership by Roccos Entertainment Group SA, a subsidiary of Global Intersafe (or is that Intersafe Global?) If it's a 888.com why would it license in Costa Rica instead of under the rest of the group's far more credible Gibraltar licence?

The processor seems to be Meta Charge Merchant Service working with Natwest Bank in the UK.

The software is described as " powered by Casino Corporation" which does not seem to lead anywhere, instead of the more usual 888.com provider subsidiary Random Logic.

When they opened the site, it even had 888, instead of roccos on the T&C's, however they changed that. It seems that when they cloned the websites, some things were still left in its place, hence it says they are part of the 888 group

This is my log from the casino. The first game is game 39. Look at all the games, and the bust rate is crazy. Also look how and who won, on these games

I have some concerns related to Random Logic software used by Casino-On-Net...

I’ve noticed that during the week-ends the win/loss ratio at Blackjack changes dramatically in favor of the dealer. I played last week and this week and from Monday to Thursday and things seemed pretty ordinary... lose some and win some, overall you end up where you started or slightly above. But from Friday to Sunday things begin to get a little crazy... Not quite like in uungy’s case, but still... the dealer busts less often... you feel from the very first 20 hands that you will not last long... 5 and 6 become 20 or 21 after the dealer draws combinations of 3-4 cards... he also gets lots of BJs and 10s... Last Friday I’ve lost 360 $ in 5 hours (3$ flat betting), yesterday 60 $ in less than one hour and today 20$ in 30 mins (1-2$ flat betting). The way things are going, the next week-end won’t find me playing at 888.

Maybe it is just a personal impression ... but I wonder if others noticed the same thing...

there is a big difference between what you zre claiming in regards to 888.

losing $20 in 30 minutes doesn't mean its riggec. its the hands that proove it. if you play BJ, you will always end up losing at the end

my post above shows besides for the unlikly chances (i can't say definite rigged) but after seeinb the payouts are completely wrong, I believe it is rigged

Two obseravtions about your blackjack hands.
Firstly you keep drawing and so often bust, there is nothing rigged about that.
Secondly a rule of any blackjack I ever played was that the dealer had to draw until they hit a minimum of 17, that does not seem to be the case here.

In any regard as has been mentioned the fact that they have bastardised the intersafe global name, that they are registered in Costa Rica, that the site has been copied, that the software is bugged, that they are a totally unknown quantity, the fact that there are proven reputable Casinos out there offering the same games means that you would have to be clinically insaine to want to deposit and play there.
Just IMO of course :p

Well except for the first few hands (as stated in my previous post, that the software is crazy when you think the cards havent drawn yet, then you realize you clicked hit) all other games have been played according to optimal strategy, so, yes I bust, but shouldn't have been that often I would have thought. But there again, it could have been a very bad streak, but the payout is completely wrong

One game I got 21, and the dealer got 20, and it shows a draw. Another game the dealer stood on 15, so 4 games out of 39, which have paid out incorrectly, dont say much about the software.

As I have said before, try the free games, and report back

 I wonder how this got past the tough Costa Rican regulators.

I think this outfit should be put on the rogue list for having such buggy software.

Oh well, it must have slipped through! It only happens about1 in 10 games, so thts very possible, since it is so remote that it will happen

I lost 500 trying out that software, and I wouldn't want anyone else doing so, thats why as soon as I saw someone thinking about it, I posted.

I dont think its bugged, it just wanst meant to pay out, so the software doesnt give a monkeys what the cards are. If it pays out on the slots it pays, otherwise forget it!

To their credit they gave me 25 back (the first time it went wonky) but havent bothered for the rest, may do so some time, but will get them to see this thread first

There is Global Intersafe and Intersafe Global.

Both sites seem dead now, I can't load either casino or poker, but I can post just fine here, so not my end.

I got fooled so easily ! Sorry Uungy.
What made me believe it was 888, even if in the first sight I thought it was a clone, is the fact the website and software is developed with .Net.
You must be very confident to launch a .Net website today.
The 2nd thing is that their games are clones of 888.
Who would be crazy enough to copy MicroGaming, Playtech, Intercasino or 888 ?
Especially in .Net !
Usually, these kind of guys copy more unknown software like JackpotSoft did (their website is also down since weve talked about them here).
The 3rd thing is the Intersafe Global namebut as Uungy and GrandMaster said it, its not the same InterSafe.
From Link Removed (Old/Invalid) this is RoccosCasino's Intersafe:

And this is 888's InterSafe:

It looks like RoccosCasino has copied the games from 888 and as GrandMaster said:
Roccos has nothing to do with 888.com, but is trying to create an impression that it has

Finally, as Ive said before, I was impressed by the SEO work done on the website and I thought that nobody would spend that money and effort (quite a lot, theyve built blogs, bought links, directory and article submissions, all this done by professionals, etc) to promote a clone website developed with the .Net framework, which is, I repeat, quite a revolution.
I still dont get it.
There is something which doesnt fit in any of the scenarii Im thinking of.
But the fact the website is down, now that that weve started this thread is quite weird.
I think we really got something interesting here.

I have just recieved an email from them
