Rival Slots and Casinos.. Need Some Input!!

Anyone playing Rival software still?.. and liking it? Are the video slots good? Free spin bonus rounds? How are they for paying winners? And which casino do you recommend? Thinking about trying one tonight but want to hear from peeps first!
 
Recommended? - they are all good to go in my opinion.

Last month I made a 'killing' at Sloto'Cash due mainly to big wins on Reel of Fortune, 5-Reel Circus, Cleopatra's Coins & Hobo's Hoard.
In my experience Oceans Treasure is complete pooh and Hole in Won is VERY high variance (if you're not hitting feature rounds, you're screwed!)

Bear in mind that Reel party is a clone of Cleo's Coins (both have a possibility to win 100 free-spins!), and Love & Money, So 80's and Winter Wonders are also all clones of each other (pretty low variance = good for clearing WR ;))

This month I blew my monthly at Da Vinci's mainly due to stupid 'high rolling' on the aforementioned Hole in Won (hoping for a biggie which never came), Reel of Fortune (in Duck's anus mode), and Bank Heist which stole my cash with an unprecedented 130 spins with no escape in the final round!! :mad:

The other one I would recommend is Watch the Birdy - highly amusing and can be fairly profitable if you hit 1 or 2 good bonus rounds.

WTG KK. I gotta say that I dont think they pay as well as they used to.

I was able to get a lot of play from my deposits, and had some really good cashouts for quite a while, but since the paytables changed (and also some reel symbols IMO) its been hard to get a winner. Cleo and Reel Party provided some good wins for me in the past, but lately have been dead as a doornail. Its also interesting that nobody has posted about getting the 100 free spins for a long time, given it seemed to happen fairly regularly earlier this year.

I dont like the changes they have made to the slots, and I try to stick to the ones where they paytables havent been altered. The new fortunes slot is good - great graphics and seems to pay OK.

My deposit amounts here will be reducing in future as I find it harder to win nowadays......but that could just be me I guess.

Something similar as Nifty29 here... In the past month I had nice winnings, 2 very delayed withdrawals and now I can't win anything...

It might be just variance, but some of the games are really a bottomless pit :p

Have to partially agree with the others though, I was VERY lucky with the above casino, and their slots are generally quite hard to win big on as most seem to be very low variance. One thing I would say is if you get a big hit on a slot, don't stay on it for too long afterward because the odds say you will have a long wait before you get another one!
 
Has anyone from you playing with Rival also Connection discontinuances ?

At me continuously, a few spins turning and then always the same- stop and error etc.

Specially if you get Free Spins 2-3x turning and then stop.

I close the game and then open the game again, but it don't starts at the last Free Spin, in the meantime, if i close the game, i think the Spins running further, but i'm not sure.

I use XP Sp2 and DSL (2000) over WLAN and i have it at no other Casinos i'm playing.

It has nothing to do with delete cookies and internet files, i tried it all.

This Situation makes no fun to play at Davincis.

Support told me that they make an update next month and hope that will help, but who knows.

Maybe some of you have another and rational solution for me ?

I have been having issues for months with logging in etc - sometimes I have to open the casino up to 10 times just to get the login screen to pop up which is very frustrating, and why I dont spend nearly as much as I used to at rival casinos.

The slot themes and graphics are really different and entertaining and the payouts are fast, but since the paytables were changed about 6 weeks ago it seems very much harder to win. I was doing OK for a long time on the slots but I think its possible the reels themselves have been altered as you just dont see the same combinations coming up any more (e.g. 100 free spins, bonus rounds during free spins, car bonus on atomic age etc) - its another reason I dont play as much any more. Its also uncommon to get any more than 50x bet in a bonus round/free spins, which doesnt compare well with MG/RTG etc.

If the bugs can be ironed out then I might increase my play, but I just wish they would reverse the changes they made.

Also, I find Da Vincis Gold the slowest by far of that group - paradise8 is the fastest and I dont have issues with slow play on that one. Have you tried that one?
 
I play at the Rivals alot (almost exclusively) not because I particularly like them but they are easy for me to deposit to. As for payouts, here's the trick. First have a quicktender account because you don't want to try and cash out ACH, can take months literally. Then when you make your withdrawal ask live chat to have accounting flush your account. Then you don't have to wait 48 hours for processing. My last withdrawal (made deposit through Quicktender which does make a difference because you don't have to send in security documents) only took 12 hours to hit my Quicktender account. If you deposit with credit card it will take about 24 hours because you will have to send in security documents.

As for the games and the changes, you are so correct. Very hard to hit anymore. I have got some good withdrawals on little deposits but from playing "Fortunes" and a 100 spins on Cleo. Played today on B'day money at all casinos and got the free spins on Cleo twice and won only $6+ each time.

But support is good and bonuses are too. So make up your own mind.

Only tangentially related since it's not a Rival slot, but the Playtech slot Alien Hunter is one of the worst - 3 spaceship scatters and you get a measly 5 free spins, and then you'll probably hit nothing. I like the bonus games though!

In the meantime Rob contacted me in regarding this issue but i believe that he has no other Solution as i got from support.

I have not played paradies8 yet but i will try it ;)


in regarding Withdrawals:

i made a withdrawal request to Neteller and it was reversed, they say that my main deposit is C2Pay, because i deposited 5times via C2Pay and 1time via Neteller

where do they know from ? they can only suppose it :rolleyes:

if i deposit the next 5 times via Neteller they say Neteller is my main deposit ?

they have all my security documents and it is approved, so why should it not possible to cash out to Neteller ?

yesterday i tried to play at paradise8 what Nifty29 had proposed and must say: :eek:

sorry Rob Rival, that sucks really, out, in, out, in and so on.

you can set a hook at the Login Window for saving your password, but if the Casino closed and try login again it opens the window for the registration.

sureley you can say that you have an existing account, but again and again :mad:

after several attempts i was able to claim the 100% match Bonus and to deposit

there are the same and greater connecting problems as well how with Davincis and i'm consider to delete this Casino again, while i have namely no desire on such this software disorder

i'm also not amused about this, because i like some of their games, sorry Rob if you read this but i can say only how it is at me

i experienced such a thing until now only once in my game time it was Partygaming with Starluck Casino etc.

Hey Rob, your technical staff must work urgently at your Software and your Network that such things don't occur for your members

and it's not at me, because at my PC it's all okay and i have no problems to play at Casinos with other Software

maybe it's only at me and maybe at other of your customers the Casino is running without problems, i don't know and you can say equal it's only one member it's not important

last try that i will make now is to uninstall and reinstall and see what's happen

First, I do apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused and I do appreciate the patience and cooperation I've had so far.

I have been in touch with Zodiac via pm to investigate the connectivity issue he describes. In *this particular case* we're leaning towards it being related to a user-end connection issue perhaps a firewall, a router, a web accelerator, a proxy, a conflicting IE plugin, or something else in the way.

I'll be in touch with him shortly to suggest some diagnostic tests for him to run in order to determine where the connection drop is occurring or what program/hardware device is conflicting the communication between the user and the server.

Since other users, such as Nifty mentions, are having similar issues, I do realize it is not simply *only* an end-user issue however, I believe the majority of instances are related to a conflict with one or more software/hardware installs/settings on the users' computer. I also realize that a solution(s) must inevitably come from the Rival development team. Make no mistake, rectifying this connectivity issue is a top priority.

Hi i do also like rival, free spin features can sometimes hit easy and often.
Also if you do take a bonus its kinda easy to clear, I think divincis gold has the lowest wagering on sign up bonus. Also my old fave was cleo new fave was metal detector and the new slot kinda pays low on free spins and i find the bonus round to hard to hit.

Also i like to play the slots with free spins and bonus rounds because it can realy pay well to hit that bonus round during tose free spins.

But i do have problems with the software, Like the amount off time during spins. and the slots crashes alot and if it crashes during free spins you gotta click out.

If the games wernt ok or payd bad i would nether deposit at rival to many errors. I get the odd dissconect at other casinos but nether constant errors.

already once well that you have recognized that it gives problems with Software and Hardware

in the meantime i have uninstall and reinstall paradise8, and the login window work normal now, but if you are in a game and the reels are turning a few once, you have continually discontinuances, what i have also described

i have not tried the normal slots, i can say only that it's on the Video-Slots

and in the moment i let paradise8 deinstalled and play not at Rival before this Situation will be cleared

it changed unfortunately nothing Rob, absolutely nothing

the most horrible connecting is at paradise8, it make no fun so i let it uninstalled

Playing at Simon Says and ThisisVegas is easier and don't make so much trouble although it gives also connecting problems

and at Davincis Gold always the same: in, out, in, out, in, out ...............

so, makes playing no fun :(

in my case, i haven't even been able to login at all because of some "critical" error. no support, no solutions, no technical team response even after i sent them their "debug" file. the 24 hour wait has become the new year :eek:

i got one e-mail from pantasia saying they saw i logged on and is everything ok now? what?!?!?!?!

the thisisvegas rep seems to be the only one from rival with a clue...and i never even signed up there.

These payout issues were brought to a head last year & although things got a little heated, eventually the slots were adjusted and I think everyone was happy with outcome.

The free spins on Cleo & others are simply not hitting again as they used to. Then when you do get them, you repeatedly get nothing.

I have had 40 free spins before on Cleo and won $1 - and it does suck!!

Obviously I'm not the only one who gets jack on the free spins.

but since the paytables were changed about 6 weeks ago

Now I read that you guys have been screwing around with the pay tables again!

Then in this thread it shows you've been doing it again...Or is this just a carry over from that :rolleyes:

As I know you guys (Rival) have a habit of tinkering with slots and their payout tables I thought it best to let everyone know how long this has been going on for.

Again my question is why can't you leave the damn payouts and the slot mechanics alone? Other casino do and still make money. You think after being busted so many times you'd learn to leave the slots & their pay tables alone :rolleyes:

they have reduced the paytables on slots, when I asked Live Help for an explanation here is what I got. It appears the tables have been cut by at least 50%. I like the software, great customer service, but what the hell are they thinking!!

I was a little quick with my first analysis of the paytable change, I said they were reduced by about 50%, I was WRONG, more like 75-80%, what use to pay $1.50 now pays .25c

The 5 reel slots have been revised with not just changes in the paytables, but in the reels as well. This means even though one particular win may pay less, if you hit the freespins (which now occur more frequently) you are looking at 15 freespins with 5x multiplier for some of the games. Freespins can also be re-triggered. The games are much looser now.

The thing that bothers me is this statement "The 5 reel slots have been revised with not just changes in the paytables, but in the reels as well."

If you can change the slots reels then wouldn't this affect the pay-out %...From memory you were asked Rob who does your pay-out auditing...and I'm yet to receive a response on that one.

I was always under the impression that legit casinos would have their games audited before release. But if your constantly changing the reels and the pay-tables then no audit is going to prove anything, is it!

Unlike MG which is a no-go area for me 6pm - 11:30pm (ridiculously intermittent connection :mad:) I have not had any troubles recently logging in & playing at Rival casinos. (I did have problems a few month back).

However several times when I just wanted to check something on their websites I have suffered ludicrously slow or even no connection. :(
I don't know anything about servers, or where theirs is located (the Moon?) but they urgently need to do something to improve internet connectivity.

The are still many problems with the software, unfortunately. I had no problems playing a few weeks ago, but last night was rather a pain. Took several attempts before I could even log on. Then after playing I went to the Cashier section and receive IE Script Error pop ups. Doesn't matter whether I click 'yes' or 'no' to continue runnings scripts on page, I can't tell whether I've met WR. Also, clicking the current promo I'm playing, doesn't go anywhere and I can't get a look at the T&C again for the bonus I'm playing. Can't remember if there's a max cashout on it or not.

I'll try again this evening, and if all else fails, I'll have to contact CS.

At least I'm not the only one...
