Hi, my first post so I hope this is in the right part, please forgive me if not.

I joined and deposited at a bingo site that is your Accredited Bingo page Link Outdated / Removed

Giggle bingo.

I was disappointed though that nobody can withdraw for 14 days after first joining up, this isn't just from bonus money either, it's from an actual deposit.
Just feel maybe this should be mentioned on the Accredited page? because I would never of deposited if I had known this.

Thanks.

Sharon.

Ooops! I think that they are no longer accredited because all Fortune Lounge properties lost their accreditation a while back. Bryan must have forgotten to remove that one from the list.

Can you copy the text about those 14 days here?

And, welcome! :)

Therein lie the pitfalls of NOT reading the T&C's before depositing! - this term is crap and unnecessary and why I would never play there.

You will get to realize the longer you are on the CM forum that not reading terms BEFORE depositing is the origin of 90% of the complaints, bitch'n'moans etc.

I was told about the 14 days in live chat help, didn't even think of saving it.

I did just look a second time on there terms pages but still don't see anything about this 14 day rule unless I'm just missing it?
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

I did read the terms before depositing and didn't see the 14 days rule there or wouldn't of deposited,

I could of missed it though if is in there.

"Wouldn't HAVE deposited" you mean? 'Of' is not a verb; you cannot 'of' something.
(Sorry but that is widely considered the number one grammar violation...:) )

Anyway, it appears you are right as I've word-searched and checked both their terms and the banking terms and can't see any mention of this. This would not be in any way acceptable from an accredited site, hidden terms. Yes, I know they are suspended at the moment but for a different reason.
I would contact their rep here. I remember being told this at one site I played at years back, the same 14-day BS. Not good at all.

I just took a look through their terms and banking page and I don't see anything like that either, just the standard 48 hours pending.

Fortune Lounge chat support has given me completely incorrect information on several occasions, so this is what I would do. Send an email to support, tell them what chat support told you and ask that they supply you a link where this 14 day rule can be found on their website.

Either they'll tell you that chat support was wrong, they'll supply a link with that information, or they won't supply a link and still stick with the 14 days. If it's the last one, you should PAB immediately - if a casino has an important rule like that that's not actually written in their terms page, it's not cool.

Good luck.

I struggle with a bit of dyslexia so sorry I'm not quite up to "your" standard.

I'm not ever so bothered as I only deposited £10, I normally play on Tombola but fancied a change, my fault for wondering.

I must admit, when I was in bingo rooms there, it did cross my mind why there was very few players.

I should add, I only mentioned this as nothing was mentioned in the accredited part of the site so thought was nice to tell other players before hand.

I'm not ever so bothered myself cause as I said, I only deposited a tenna for a trial and not going to miss that :) so not no need to use your PAB system or anything :)

Well it's not so much that you didn't deposit much, but that they're quoting you a rule that can't be found on their site. IF it's a real thing (and not just chat support with their head up their bum) then they need to have that term displayed on their site somewhere so that people won't get caught out. I'd still email support and ask them about it, just to be sure. Also I'm going to shoot a message to the Fortune Lounge rep.

As Chayton says it's not the deposit amount that's important, but the general awareness of all the CM members that an accredited (or soon to be re-accredited) group is quoting a non-existent term via their CS.

A PAB doesn't always have to be about recovering money (although most are) but can also relate to excessive withdrawal times, lack of responsible gaming facilities or potentially predatory or rogue terms.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention. I know you don't have the CS chat transcript, but I believe you because like I said I encountered exactly the same term at a bingo site a few years back - I had won 350 pounds on a slot, and was told the same thing by chat.

I know that other Digimedia Bingo sites have used Betway/Palace group support and maybe this is the thing here. I haven't checked T&C's for all those and I don't recognize this 14 days rule but we you ask Fortune Lounge's rep Wim here he might know what's going on. :)

I notified him know!

Cool, I tried too but his mailbox was full.

Hi Sharon

This is absolutely incorrect and there is no restriction on your withdrawal - even if you are a new player.

Please PM me your account details so I can look at the chat transcript. I can only think (hope) that the agent could have referred to when you will receive the withdrawal (depending on your PMOP - but even that sounds too long).

Regards

Wim

PS: I have cleared my mailbox - I apologise but I am a bit of an e-mail hoarder.

My Id is there

Shazleic

The person who told me this was one of your bingo ops that took me to private message when I asked a question in the bingo room.

I did after go to the live help chat and mention this to them that I thought was a silly rule and put me of depositing again but they didn't tell me the rule wasn't true.

It's really not needed for you to look into it as I have decided to stick with tombola now but for your own reference then feel free.

Shaz :)

It IS necessary for Wim to look as if true someone needs a b*llocking' on the site, as if it happens again and players are misled and reverse withdrawals/lose because they can't be bothered to wait the 14 days they have been misinformed then this is rogue-ish practice.

I have logged in and playing the £30 bbz I got free.
I will let you know if I can cash out if I win although a LONG way to go as minimum withdrawal is £50 and can only buy 6 tickets max at a time with bbz so unless "extremely" lucky it won't happen.

Also, fortunelounge has answered my message to tell me they will be looking into this so I will let you know the outcome of this also.

Shaz :)

Giggle Bingo is still in there, maybe he plans on leaving it there?

I did get a message from the Fortunelounge rep on the 12th that Giggle Bingo chat moderators are outsourced, he has contacted the company and she has promised to deal with her staff on this.

So maybe just a genuine mistake and they just got mixed up with another site they also deal with?

Sharon :)
