So it would seem as if I have been waiting since July 17th for two different refunds that I was promised.
Essentially for a while, a few casinos were having issues with a processor giving them a decline. Then magically, they would still take the money off my card and keep it. It would never fall back into my account as promised, and the money still hasn't shown back up.
Now the casino in question, is having lots of processing issues period. There directing me to go thru an eWallet, and barely responding to my question about if we have any update to the refund. While I don't mind depositing thru an eWallet, the fees to deposit thru this eWallet are out of this world. So I'm not very happy that I'm not even being compensated in even a small way for being forced to pay the wallets fee. While they can't take my card directly right now.
I'm really not bombarding the rep other than once a week. All I'm asking for is an update. The last update I got wasn't even regarding the refund, as much they were more concerned with the fact they couldn't process credit cards right now.
While I realize this is devastating for a casino, not to have there processor working. It still shouldn't deter them from at least giving me an update as to whether I should expect to see my refund this week, or if the processor is still going thru it's "long and complicated" verification process.
I mean common, they took the money in less than a week off my card to keep. Now there telling me, there not in the mood on giving just as an instant refund. Seems a bit unfair doesn't it?
I guess my question is, would this be something I could PAB on, or should I still give the rep time. Considering apparently they have another crisis going on?

Credit cards refunds should take NO LONGER than 10 days from initiation.

Herein lies the problem IMO. The processor and/or the casino must be dragging their feet.....there is no other explanation, as it is all automated once started.

In fact, I've never had a refund take more than 4-5 days.

If it were me, I would be asking for documentary evidence that the refund has been issued. If not provided, IMO a PAB is certainly warranted, as 6+ weeks is just unacceptable.

It could be a case of the processor running off with the money, and the casino not being able to do much about it. The problem is that if you wait too long, the money could be gone for good, so because of this, a PAB now would be the best option in order for this to be resolved within the 6 month time limit after which you lose the ability to ask your bank to intervene directly with the processor.

If the processor nicked the money, the casino is liable as they are the ones who have the contract with the player. 6 weeks looks like a joint stalling effort. If both are being honest about neither of them having the money, then your money has been stolen along the way, in which case you should go to your bank for help. You need the casino to give you a deadlock letter stating they have not got the money, and are not going to issue you the refund. If the processor gives the same story, or simply refuses to communicate, you should give them up to 5 months, and then go via your bank. This gives them every chance to do the right thing before you wheel out the "nuclear option".

There is also the increasingly worrying series of complaints about obvious fraudulent charges appearing from these same dodgy processors that feed the US market, so there is clearly an element of processor inspired theft of players funds going on, and by the looks of it, getting worse.

Just my 2 cents.... No more posts, do a PAB. If there are problems at the casino with their processing and/or money flow, you might be doing us all a favor. If it's just shoddy CS, a PAB might make them improve, and you'd still be doing us all a good turn.

And of course, we'd all like to know how it turns out in the end. Good luck.

I'm confused. Is this a refund because you just want your money back or a "cash out" refund like PaymyCard?

Paypal took it upon themselves to send refunded money from a returned item back to my credit card this week. When I buzzed them about it, I was told it would take 7-15 days to hit my card.

That of course is total BS but all I can do is wait and see. Looks to me like the whole return to customer end of credit cards suck.

Please remember that once the PAB is in progress the PABer is expected to refrain from posting on the subject until the process is complete.

My sincere apologies, I didn't realize the PAB had been filed. I'll try to be more careful from now on

From the OPs post, it looks like he made two deposits that was not credited to his account (showed as declined, but was taken off the card). The refunds have yet to be issued.

Wow, I don't know how I missed that sentence the first time...doh. Thanks Jas!

After I got the ball rolling on this, they finally agreed to send me a Pay Pal payment double to what was owed. Which is more than I expected, I just figured on getting a transfer of what was owed. They even covered the transfer fees so I got every penny of it to boot.
So finally I can mark this as complete.
They still said, there going to continue pushing for a refund from the processor. So if I get that refund, they'll consider that a loyalty bonus, but there figuring the MID might have been closed by now.
