I've not had a chance to do a big investigation - Christmas shopping and all that!
But here's a few quick stats:
Played Reel Party at Vegas Sky last night, and luckily got the Champagne feature 3 times in normal spins and 3 times during free-spins.
Normal: x8.67, x14, x8 = average x10.33
During free-spins: x21, x15, x30 = average x22
So average just a little over double in the free-spins (x2.13 to be exact).
Then I looked back to the first Rival I ever played; DaVinci's Gold Aug-Oct 2007, stats from Reel Party and Cleo's Coins:
Normal: x10, x6, x10, x12, x7, x6 = Average x8.50
During free-spins: x24, x24, x21, x27, x18 = Average x22.8
So average increase for hitting in free-spins = x2.68
These are VERY small samples, but it does seem the the bonus is still better in the free-spins, though not by x3 as we all probably thought. Maybe some others can keep an eye out & see what they get?
As a by-the way; it was a very profitable experiment last night!
I have a HUGE WR ($15,200), so started playing at $1.50 per spin, rising to $7.50 per spin at the end
, when I got the free-spins which re-triggered on the last spin and give me TWO Champagne bonuses during them!
Finished my 212 spin session $310 up!
This was the last bonus I hit (x30):-
