I looked into this a little.

The casinos offering the game via the NYX Interactive / SG Digital platform have it with 98.06% (GiG Group, MT Secure Trade Whitelabels, Slotsmillion, Unibet Group, Mr Green, Casino Heroes, LeoVegas, Casumo)
Those offering it via the Relax / Oryx platforms have it on 96.18%. (VS, Betsson Group)

And FYI, it can be worse: Everymatrix Casinos, Genesis Group (Vegas Hero, Sloty, Casino Cruise, Spinit, Casino Joy etc) run it at 95.19%. :eek:

Can't check Aspire Global and Nektan casinos as they won't allow Fun Play.

This is at LeoVegas for me, 96.24% with a max win of 5000x bet, whereas in your screenshot there Harry you've got 10000x bet.

How many versions of this bloody thing are out there? :confused:

EDIT - Sorry I'm being dumb, that's the non-Megaways version, the Megaways version is indeed 98.06% at LeoVegas with a 10000x stake top prize.

Are you looking at Mystery Reels or Mystery Reels Megaways?

Mystery Reels max win is 5,000x bet, Mystery Reels Megaways is 10,000x bet.

I loaded Mystery Reels Megaways in Fun Mode on LeoVegas with a German IP and got the 98.06%.

Sorry Harry yes I was being dumb! I've just corrected my post above.

The game is indeed at 98.06% at LeoVegas and Unibet.

Can confirm the lower RTP at Videoslots as well. (96.18%)

That's a huge difference in house edge, the house edge is 100% higher on the 96.18% maths model, and 150% higher on the lowest!

Have you got accounts with any of the gazillion Nektan or Caddell sites? They only allow fun mode play after registering an account, hence, I couldn't find out. :oops:

Would be interesting to know which version UK focussed casinos are using (higher taxes and cost and all that :rolleyes: ). AFAIK, Aspire Global does not offer Red Tiger Games to their White Labels.

FYI, Red Tiger is not integrated through either NYX or Relax or Oryx to get to any of the operators you listed, Red Tiger is directly integrated with every single one of those operators.
 
So how exactly do we interpret the 'best gamble strategy' then?

From looking at your video dunover, it means you'll always need to gamble at least once but stop if you hit the 20, but then how would you get to 30? Since you'd already have collected at 20 according to the strategy. It's good that you always get a bonus at least, even if you lose the gamble on the first spin.

98.06% is a really solid RTP, wouldn't rule out firing this one up for some real money play.

I can play Red Tiger Games for real money at any casino with my home IP, except at those who are using NYX/SG Digital as aggregator platform. E.g. I can't play Red Tiger at Rizk for exactly that reason, that is what I was told by their CS.

How do you explain this difference then? Red Tiger does not have a IOM licence.

I believe the IOM can play UKGC games, but I'm not 100% sure?
Anyway, to clarify I was saying that IF you ever hit a 20 or 30, take it! That's a 1/10 chance on any given wheel. You wouldn't realistically gamble 20 to 30, the 30 would only arise if you successfully gambled the first wheel to 12 (not the 20!) and then viewed the second wheel which had 30, 18 spins, or 8 if you lost. Therefore if you already had 20 it wouldn't be a sensible risk at all. It's the same for the 40 - had you had 2 successful gambles on the first 2 wheels to 12 and then 18 respectively, here you can gamble your 18 spins for either 9, 24 or 40 spins.
So the optimum strategy will always be to collect the 20 or 30 if lucky enough to hit them.
 
We are both a licensing jurisdiction but also playing UKGC licensed games/casinos here is fine.

TBH it's a bit muddy, when I play at Videoslots they geolocate me to the Isle of Man and (for example) I can't play NetEnt slots because they're not available in my territory. But I can fire up LeoVegas on the same PC/browser/IP, and they just put me in the UK so I can play NetEnt slots.

3Dice works fine for me, but a mate in the UK tried to play there and got blocked as he's on a UK IP.

I wouldn't say ALWAYS gamble, i.e. the 8 spins you initially get. Having said that, I did notice during my extensive demo play that when you lose the 8 spins and get merely 4, you get a surprising amount of retriggers when the 4 spin round plays out.

95.19% to 98.06% is a seriously substantial difference in the house edge.

I wouldn't know why some operators decide to IP block the country you're playing from and some doesn't, but, if you look inside the iframe of a game that is supplied through NYX, you'd get something like this (Rizk used as an example):
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.


When you look inside the iframe of a Red Tiger game on Rizk, you get a Red Tiger launch URL (looks very similar on all websites where Red Tiger has direct integrations, at least where I checked): Outdated URL (Invalid)

Likewise, if you launch a game that is supplied through Relax, you get a lunch URL that looks something like this:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.


You can do similar tests on any website and get similar results (probably with minor deviations based on the underlying technology of certain aggregators).

OK, I should have look properly as I usually do. Instead I assumed that because Rizk does not allow me to play Red Tiger, that it is connected to the NYX issue. Also to my knowledge (I might be wrong), Relax and Oryx supply games to both, Betsson and Videoslots. Hence, I made some assumptions without looking properly.

Anyway, here's how the Red Tiger Games load on some sites:

- GiG, MT SecureTrade - supplied by iGamingCloud
- Genesis Group - supplied by Everymatrix to Genesis server
- Videoslots - own server
- Betsson - own server

It's getting kind of brutal having to check rtp on every game now :(
I signed up at 21.co.uk that you mentioned is owned by leovegas . To me , it's like the casino leovegas wants to be but daren't because they'd get a bad press :p Shitty rtp , 48 hour pending period then 3-5 days to receive your winnings . Yeh ok

Maybe someone (with mod powers?) could make a sticky thread with a list of popular games (or providers) and where to play them at best rtp ? AND where not to play them ? And we could all give info towards it like we've done in this thread . Could have links to the casinos as well ofc

Would be very helpful to players and might make casinos take note that their low rtps are not going unnoticed , especially if players start avoiding playing those games at casinos where they offer bad rtp and maybe encourage them to offer the better rtp instead ?

And I think rtp should be considered as part of a casino's accredited status/score also . It's like the biggest independent factor to determine how much you will win or lose but it's almost treated as unimportant the way rtp is barely mentioned and hidden away in helpfiles

Nice review of the slot as before I played this with real money a couple of days ago, I played hundreds of spins in fun money and never got a bonus. You can get max megaways just like Bonanza with 117649 ways since all 6 reels can have 7 symbols in them. In Bonanza and all, while the middle reels had up to 6 symbols, the extra row on top of the game made up for the missing one where as on this game since it has no such row, it has instead have each reel having up to 7 symbols.

That was brutal, one bonus in 2000 spins. I think it's possibly got a lower bonus frequency than bonanza. :eek: One positive is the turbo mode, but there's just something about red tiger slots, that makes you feel like you're being fleeced at a fairly rapid rate even without the turbo on.

Glad you patched it up with LV, after VS have cut the rtp on those providers and intend to cut it on the rest, I think it would be rash to lose a well known casino to play at, still with decent rtp, especially now you've got the kyc hassles over with. I think if some live chat agents could just see things a bit more from the player's perspective and not rely on the 'computer says no' approach, there'd be less annoyance and frustration getting stoked up. [the games themselves do a good enough job re that already :laugh: ]
 
Still not sussed out this slot - with Bonanza, you know what you get: every now and then a bonus blitz, usually with disappointment, throws in the odd good hit and then a desert like land of nothingness.

This game? - i was cursing it last night as was going into last spin with a x2...hit a whack of 7's and ended up with 360 from 40p (on a times 2, you git). The bonus is, well, usually MIA. I don't like the fact i can't see each individual wins on a cascade. Other thing is the line wins - several times the board has disappeared and I've been like 'oh, this is a belter - only to get slapped with a wet fish when i see it's a 35x win:mad:

Hammered that Ninja slot a few months ago, was down around 500 quid on it and when the bonus finally triggered it paid something like 12x bet.

The potential is huge (I hate to say that because Red Tiger has always been a waste of time for me), I gambled my spins to 12 and hit that 3200x with a 7x multiplier, there were a bunch of 7s but not a huge amount, it happened so fast I didn't get a screen of it.
 
Can't say I've had a problem getting a bonus. Just had 4 of them in less than an hour . I wasn't counting the spins, and SlotTracker doesn't recognise the game. But you can see the frequency from the time (top right). I started playing around 21:05.

First bonus, lost the gamble. But still a decent win for 4 spins - 85x

Another UHV game with an alarming ability to cascade a.... lot....

Subsequently, despite only needing three symbols you are mad if you think this will bonus as regular as WWTBAM or Extra Chilli.

Cynical side of me would suggest a designer has thought, “you know how three symbols appear to be easier to trigger on these cascade games, why don’t we make it so three triggers a feature on ours but in reality is as hard, if not more so, than Bonanza which needs four.”

“Is that not exploiting players perception a little bit?”

“If it makes us a ton of cash for a while I really couldn’t give a toss, fancy a pint?”

Had to drop to 0.10 bet to trigger
and again it took thousands of spins.

1st bonus gambled and lost, 4 spins paid 30x
2nd bonus gambled and lost, 4 spins paid 15x
3rd bonus never gambled so 8 spins, 1st spin paid 25x then 7 dead spins.

Correct me if I’m wrong but the whole idea behind the Megaways slots was a trade off between bonuses being a lot harder to trigger but the average bonus wins being a lot higher.
This doesnt seem to apply to anything released after Bonanza, so what’s the point in even playing them.

Yes, that's how the dream is sold to players. When in reality you could spend thousands of pounds and hundreds of spins and get diddly squat.

Why? Because Megaways is less 'potential' and more 'Ponzi scheme'

Of course I'd like to see more medium-variance games being made instead of this scratchcard scrotum-busting we see everywhere with Megaways, but of course it'll be a cold day in hell before that happens :eek2:

Maybe in five years everyone and their dog would have Megawayed themselves out and we can go back to actual slots :D
 
played this a few times and was fortunate to hit feature fairly quick but at higher stakes and the return was pityful!! shock horror

played it the other day at £1 hit feature and for the first time won the gamble to 20 spins and hit 509.20

shame i wasnt at £10 spin then when every gamble lost! (although it pays better on 4 spins than you would think but still shitty most of the time :-)
 
A few features on this. Every single gamble loses first time from 8 to 4!

Still, it managed a 537x stake, and I got four features in 1200 spins which isn't bad going for this slot.

One thing I will say is that it really does like to retrigger.

Well they're running the 98% maths model and I'm verified there, VS are running the 96% maths model and I'm not going to voluntarily double the house edge! (Although I'd definitely play it at VS if they were running the 98% maths model.)

I carried on playing some Twin Spin, Worms, and Genie Jackpots Megaways, and ended up withdrawing £160 from a £100 deposit so not a bad result as I had about three hours playtime as well.

Withdrawal is currently pending and reversible but I only made the withdrawal a couple of hours ago, so we'll see how long it takes since (a) They've got all my docs now and (b) It's not exactly a big withdrawal.
