I also received the email regarding EcoCard pulling out of the US market. I also received an email from Fortune Lounge, asking me to sign up for a QuickTender account, which looks strangely similar to EcoCard's format.
The good news (!) for now (!) is that my Mastercard debit card was accepted by QuickTender and I immediately funded my account. And this bank card has not been accepted for the last few months at any online casino or ewallet. The fees charged by QuickTender seem high (5%, I believe), but not compared to the hassle of trying to fund via Western Union.
If anyone has further experiences with this funding option, please post.
