I also received the email regarding EcoCard pulling out of the US market. I also received an email from Fortune Lounge, asking me to sign up for a QuickTender account, which looks strangely similar to EcoCard's format.

The good news (!) for now (!) is that my Mastercard debit card was accepted by QuickTender and I immediately funded my account. And this bank card has not been accepted for the last few months at any online casino or ewallet. The fees charged by QuickTender seem high (5%, I believe), but not compared to the hassle of trying to fund via Western Union.

If anyone has further experiences with this funding option, please post.

Thanks for the info. And if you look anything at all (even remotely) like your avatar I want to move to your neighborhood. :D

Down, girl!! I saw him first! That fineavatarman is MINE -- after PB is through using him. :D

I wonder if Quicktender is exclusive to FL?

Unfortunately, it's been so long since I've played anywhere, I'm out of the loop and only hear about these things second hand. Casinos should remember that players like me might be interested in an easy to use deposit/withdrawal method -- and might actually start playing again, if they'd bother to let us know about it.

You find out anymore, PB, let us know.

Lately I've only been playing at FL and JF.......and JF doesn't offer that banking option yet.

I promise when I am done with my avatar, That Fine Man, I'll share :D:cool::D

Quicktender = ecocard for US players.

There are a couple of links if you know where to look, but quicktender is essentially the product that is going to replace ecocard for US players.

Okay, I did some browsing at the QuickTender website. It's an amazing copy n paste of the ecocard website, except someone did a Find and Replace from the word "EcoCard" to "QuickTenderCard". Even the terms of service are identical.

I only noticed three differences:

1) EcoCard allows anyone to register, but Quicktender's page merely says to ask a merchant about how to find an account. So at the moment I guess it's invite only (no invite for me!)

2) Their fee schedules lists a fee for credit card deposits (5% as PackerBacker already mentioned)

3) The fee schedule lists a $20 withdrawal fee instead of $10 at Eco.

So... what's the deal? My theory is that Eco wanted to create a "firewall" corporate entity in their operations, so that the DOJ could raid Quicktender if they wanted, and the rest of Eco operations would be shielded. I'm not so sure on the invite-only angle though. Kind of reminds of dry counties in texas, where restaurants can't sell booze, so they call themselves "private clubs" in order to run bars.

Packerbacker, you've been able to log in and everything? Few questions for you:
1) When your debit card was charged, was there any indication of a foreign transaction fee or anything?
2) Have you seen what the other deposit options are?
3) How about the withdrawal options?

When I made a deposit using my debit card, it was posted to my bank account with a generic transaction name. The fee was taken out by QuickTender, so my bank account shows a debit card purchase of $50, and QuickTender credits my account with $47.50.

I have not used the other deposit methods. I was using Western Union online transfers to EcoCard, but WU suddenly stopped allowing the transfers, and when I sent them an email asking why, I got a reply that they do not have to tell me why they deny certain wires. SO, WU must have figured it out. Also they were too expensive for quick transfers and too much of a hassle. I also still use my NetSpend card with no problems.

I have not had a withdrawal from QuickTender yet, but I did withdraw from EcoCard with no problems, using my banks ABA number, since they do not have a Swift number.

Thanks PB. I was kind of hoping against hope that they'd offer ACH withdrawals. Then I wouldn't have to worry about getting hit by wire transfer fees on the local bank side. That would make up for the increased withdrawal fee on eco's side.

I think you should forget about ACH coming soon to a casino near you. The DOJ actions scared the **** out of the reputable providers, so any casino providing it now will be using underground sources, similar to uncoded credit card processing, but more risky to the casino.

Also, expect the banks to get on top of any gaming servicing ACH solution very quickly. The DOJ has shown it can and will use the banks and clearing houses to nail gaming service providers. You only have to look at Frenchie & Catrina M's posts on the letter they received to get an idea of the game being played.

Make no mistake, while it is technically impossible to code an ACH transaction, Wire Transfer or check at the moment, as soon as a bank or the DOJ identifies an account sending or receiving funds related to gaming, whether in the US or not, transactions to those accounts will be blocked (the Casinos account, not the customers, although the bank may decide to close it).

Well, I was really surprised today when I received a Quicktender 'invite'. Activated and signed up... but I'm still chicken and haven't run right out to Wally World to send a Moneygram/deposit. Besides... it's the weekend. Gives me time to think about it. LOL

I'd really like to know the reason we're being separated out of ECO -- so we can be dumped -- cut off in one fell swoop like a rotten limb -- when they pull out of US market entirely? Who's to say the DoJ won't go after ECOcard, too....

The ecosystem is so diverse it could never be tackled by the dojfux, straight up, probably only a handful of people know how many and which banks they use and can use. I see it as an opportunity, that's all, and something that was in the works to be launched right about now (270ish) so they launched.

Now, on the paranoid other hand... maybe it is a doj creation:eek: KIDDING:D

Eff the dojfux, really. This is a land of laws and checks and balances, and the last time I looked no court has sided with the police state on this issue; online gambling is legal unless it is unlawful where you live. The unlawful internet gea only covers unlawful activities. When the executive branch gets to decide how laws are interpretted, it really would be time to fuss and make messes.

But Mousey, dear, if'n you waited this long, wait a little longer, huh? Plenty of lab rats out here to make your mistakes for ya. You ain't missin much.

Good luck:thumbsup:

Hey! I'm the resident paranoic of this forum! LOL I keep getting this little creepy feeling that we're being herded into a corner where we'll be... dare I say it?... trapped like rats. ;)

No, I don't think I'm in a hurry to jump through hoops to fund my Quicktender -though casinos seem to be offering nice bonuses for first QT deposits.

Question for PackerBacker

Hi, when you made your deposit using your debit card how long did you have to wait for the transaction to show up in your account? Thank you!!

In some casinos it goes by another name, you just have to click on all the deposit options you're unfamiliar with to access the 'third party processor'. I've noticed at least one RTG where there is just an empty icon. I've also seen it disappear from a MG site in the last couple of days. Details by pm and by discretion only :)

Yes, credit card deposits are immediate. Daily limit $300, weekly $600, and monthly $1500. I emailed with a request for higher limits but was told this may be offered in the future.

Fortune Lounge offers this option, and Jackpot Factory just added it. It's called "use my wallet" in the banking section.

I'll post if I ever WIN anything and cash out using QT (these MG casinos are COLD lately)

FYI

I had a withdrawal this week at Jackpot Factory. I had deposited using QuickTender, and my withdrawal options at the casino were EcoCard and check. I withdrew by EcoCard and the funds are now in my EcoCard account.

Doh. I guess JFac forgot about that important withdrawal part.
