Personally I would not dispute charges. Think three steps ahead. Who controls the account you are charging back? Okay, one step is enough for me.

We will keep you advised of future relevant developments.
QuickTender Support"
With regret, the Quicktender service has been discontinued. All account holders will be notified by email ..Here it is:

I'm sure that's a drop in the bucket to what they owe others.
Theres some people doing an investigation into this, and it's seeming more and more that qt saw an opportunity and up and ran.
The doj might have hit a few of the bank accounts that they were using for withdrawals but did not get the bulk of the money.
More info coming out tuesday, lets wait and see
When I received QT email that all accounts will be blocked, I emailed back to close my account and delete all banking information from my account files, additionally I requested that all debits and credits to my account be deleted. I requested they "advise when my requests had been completed".
Not sure what will happen, they should be able to delete my banking information as their policy always allowed that upon request via email. Not sure about the debit and credits to my account, or wiretransfer information.
We will see and I will update post when I receive a response.
Basically, I am waiting for the final payments due me through non-QT payments(i.e. checks, ach, etc.) and then I am closing all accounts with "merchants".
There are definately fed officials tracking this sites posts and I am concerned they are even tracking those logging in to casino websites, and the like. I don't trust the U.S. Gov and due to the Patriot Act they have free reign.
interesting article on gambling911 :You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
online poker news is published by one of the members here...I found this article this morning from 5/27 that pins the DOJ as the modus for not being paid by Q.T.

So no one will admit to having our money?
The Doj says it is Quicktender that has our money and Quicktender says it is the DOJ... Well who to believe?
It is well known that 'law enforcement' in America will lie, cheat, beat and even steal, if it suits their purpose.
The fact the DOJ seized the Bank accounts and now say they don't have the money... Is very very hard to believe.
One players conversation with the DOJ...

QT lied to Bryan about paying players and they lied to players about when they'll received their funds so what makes anyone think QT is not lying about who has their money.
QT was a good processor for the USA but the poop has hit the fan and they're trying to save their own skin.

Am I reading that the USA is very close to licensing and legalizing internet gambling?
I knew it existed... But I never saw it before.
my Article was a copy of what was put out by Homeland Security. If you got a bitch about the accuracy talk to them...Oh, and for the pink teddy member, DHS was set up after 9/11/2001; your artocle stated she was with the department nine years before its inception.

Please provide cites and references for such sweeping statements so I can follow along. A bill in committee that has been in the works for some time doesn't 'tell' me this.

Bryan made a statement about this in this thread so you'll have to find it yourself as I'm not going to go through this whole thread to find it.
Bryan said he knew the people that run QT and they assured him that things would be ok and then they close shop two days later. They also sent reassuring emails to players to. It's all in this thread so read, read, read.![]()

Dear Thomas
We are writing to advise that to the best of our knowledge your QuickTender withdrawal for $250.00 on the 07/05/2011 12:08:38 processed by Chargestream Ltd has been seized by the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO).
We believe in due course an order will be made to the courts to forfeit these funds and as soon as we become aware of further information our intention is to share that with you. Neither QuickTender nor our processing partner Chargestream have the financial resources to make good these funds. However, you will be a valid claimant of a proportion of overall funds seized you can file a claim with the court. You can check as well each day on the website www.forfeiture.gov searching under Chargestream for the notice to be posted.
We had prior to this announcement moved your funds to an ‘uncleared’ status. If you do still have a positive balance we will be advising on how to make a withdrawal of these remaining available funds via a separate email communication.
We realise this is not good news and are deeply sorry that the USA authorities have taken this action to seize and forfeit your funds.

Stupid is what stupid does-Forest Gump.
We have been fleeced...eer not me, got my thousands out through charge-back and mentioned money owed to me equal to money taken. The whole reason Q.T. are shysters is they are using U.S. laws and emails for advarice at our expense in the wallet: no phone number or address to correspond in real time. Why? Because the payment processor and them are so interlinked as one in the same. So if Uncle Sambo seized said funds, they gas light the supposed stupid cowboy mentality U.S. players (your Greeks are more mentailly impaired than our Appalachian sanctuary when it comes to finances) not to charge back until the (60) day window, in a few days, so as to hold their own financial gains and tie up in world courts to which the U.S. does not recognize.
Let me repeat for the Mentally impaired Euro Sophisticate and Underestimated U.S. Player:
1) If you do not dispute a Banking Institution Charge within (60) business days, it can not be revoked, short of a lawsuit or private settlement
2) U.S. Players trusted Q.T. and assumed it would play honest. One can set up offshore accounts in theory at best, but it is an IRS flag even to an idiot; EURO payments my rear!
3) Bryan won't say a word; I guess you were conned too or won't admit the U.S. DOJ reared everyone here, but play the party line like a deer in the headlamps of a MACK truck.
4) Charge it back now if you are owed anything, because you will never see a red cent. Q.T. is scared of the DOJ only to the SIXTY DAY TIME LINE DUMMIEs, lol!!!!
5) One last salient point for the U.S. player, ignore what any European player says, they will be paid and we will not. I am here to help and do not represent any entity. I lived in Europe for a time and the mentality is somewhat different; I only tease the folks across the pond because the said processor happens to be on said side.

Actually, VWM it won't be a problem (the chargebacks). He will simply have to wire money from his bank acct. to whichever processor he chooses to use if he wishes to gamble in the future.
Being on the bad player/chargeback blacklist (that doesn't exist, ya know) opens up a whole new can of worms for future deposits and withdrawals.
Does anyone from the USA really give a shit about this now?

You are giving some extremely bad advice here, and I hope no member here is daft enough to follow it. Making a charge back is fraud and those charging back are placed on a blacklist that has NOTHING to do with off shore entities, but with global credit card companies. If players make a chargeback, they can probably kiss their chances of using a credit card ANYWHERE online again. The 60 day dispute window is the ONLY alternative option for worried US customers, and they MUST decide whether to dispute the transactions within this 60 day window, or lose the chance altogether. Despite this urgency, QT seem to be doing their best to "waste time" in putting together the details of their own solution, which suggests part of the reason is to get past the 60 day cut off before delivering unpalatable truths to their customers.
I don't expect a regulated US industry would pay much attention to blacklists from the "illegal" operators, but will assess each player using US based data, including checks with the US credit agencies.
