I am a man somewhat obsessed with random/progressive jackpots - so post them here if you get one!

I got this modest confetti progressive at Jackpot Party today (waiting months for my first one, got it yesterday and then another today!).

Here are my two best proggressive hits so far. Caught the Dark Knight (or Mega Moolah if you'd prefer) Minor progressive surprisingly high and playing only the minimum 0.3€ bet it made a nice 739xbet hit. Have hit the Mini and Minor loads of times, often triggers quite easily when playing at the 6€ max bet.

Also have been lucky enough to go hunting for some stars at Jackpot Party and my best is this blowout jackpot hit (two stars) which totaled 981xbet (0.6€ stake) including the payout from the reels

I haven't had the pleasure of hitting any of the Netent progressives (pointing to Hall of Gods and Mega Fortune) but those are pretty rare I guess. Arabian Nights is a bit too expensive for a dull game for my taste. I don't play the smaller progressives available at Netent at all these days, small progressives and poor payouts plus not so great games don't make it worth my while (Wonders series and Super Lucky Frog to mention a few).

The Playtech Marvel series is the one that I'm really hunting at the moment as it does trigger quite often but not for me so far.

I played 5 lines on spiderman, and hit the superhero jackpot for £980

I was gobsmacked, Even more gobsmacked when it was 100% withdrawable, and I got the cheque a few days later

Good question! Logically I suppose it must be a re-enactment based on the players choices, as I cannot see any software storing information like mouse moves. Still an awesome vid though Imagine how he must have felt! I did ask and he told me it was an odd mix of joy and scepticism

Finally managed to hit a Marvel progressive (Playtech). Was playing Avengers at 1.2€/spin and caught the Power JP (about 260xbet). It's the smallest of the four available JPs and certainly nothing spectacular compared to my bet size but darn did it feel great to get one :yahoo:

What was your bet size? I've had this on both 4p and 7p bet sizes plus higher betting sizes. I also know someone who got the minor on a 2p spin it was at over £200 over 10000x bet so lucky!

It doesn't make any difference.
It was stated on the forum many years ago by a "rep" for RTG's software company (Dogboy), that the chance of triggering the RJ on most of their slots is 1 in 300,000 worth of bets.
So if you're betting $1 - your chances are 1 in every 300,000 spins.
If you're betting 20c, it would be 5x harder to hit = 1 in 1,500,000 spins
And if you are a high-roller betting $5 per spin, it would be 1 in 60,000.

Whatever you bet - it's still a long-shot and IMO it is a folly to "chase" any sort of progressive jackpot.
I have read of players winning 2 or 3 RTG RJ's in a single week - and others have NEVER hit one in 10+ years.
I would just play the games you enjoy and just hope that one day you might just get lucky...

No worries there, I've never been one to chase them - I don't have that type of funds to waste. I've been super fortunate, have hit a lot of Mini's on .50 bet, hit Return of the Rudolph for over 4k on a .50 bet with $6.00 left in my bankroll and the big one of over 20k on a .50 bet on Naughty or Nice with less around $30 in my bankroll. I've only hit one regular random for a little over $2500 on Strike it Lucky but that was a couple years ago-$1 bet. I just see all the 4,5,6 k randoms and really hope someday to be jolted out of my seat by one on a $1 bet! We have to have goals lol - thanks so much KK for that explanation of odds, that helped me understand it better!

i dont get many chances at jp as i very rarely play, twice i have had sessions of more than 200 spins and both times got the jp, first win was about 100 quid and this one 259 so not bad, though it almost stopped on 10ml lol

The reason for it are made by law. By expressing a win in cashgames it doesn't count as real money....
