Hi all, I'm annoyed with PlayOjo. They've withheld a payment of £18.50 for over 2 weeks. After winning, they asked for four lots of ID to be uploaded. I've done this multiple times and three of the four documents have been accepted. The sticking point is the proof of funding (ridiculous) I've uploaded different versions of payslips and it keeps asking me for more documents. Is this a scam - their app is not good, one of the worst betting experiences that I have ever had. Any help would be much appreciated!

This is clearly designed to frustrate people into giving up.

Hello,

You should contact the casino rep here on the forums. They are @EGO and they're quite good at getting player issues dealt with quickly.

If that doesn't get your issue resolved please do come back here and let us know. We have a Complaints service you're welcome to use free of charge.

for £18.50? Must be more to the story.

Update to the saga following my post above, I had a direct e-mail from PlayOjo. They offered to pay me back my original stake (£10) now but not my £8.50 winnings. For the extra £8.50 I would have to continue jumping through hoops!

One of the option was to provide a selfie with me holding my bank card, which I did. Lo and behold, I have checked the app this morning and they are still asking for proof of funding, despite me sending bank statements, pay slips and now a photograph.

It all seems a bit grubby over £8.50 - I'm not willing to let this go. @EGO if you could help please that would be appreciated.

If not, I'll have to pursue a complaint - not much else I can reasonably do here.

I wish there was! I did the promotional offer and won £8.50. I waited 2 weeks for the payment and then saw that they requested 4 lots of evidence. I sent them through and they agreed 3 out of the 4. It is the proof of funding which is the sticking point. I used £10 from my Lloyds bank account and that's it.

An update, I'm pursuing a complaint as they are asking for 6 months pay slips and tax bills (all for £8.50).

Today they have refunded me my initial deposit of £10 and closed access to my account.

They are by far the worst casino of them all, beware!!

I didn't realise that they were the rules. Anyone reading this just avoid Play Ojo they are grasping little Fagins with no morals (over £8.50 winnings)

Well, you said you had read the Rules:

And the Rules are clear:

So I don't see how you could have avoided knowing, unless of course you simply ignored the Rules. In any case it's case closed now. Good luck.
