PlayHub Casino - accusing me of fraud on slots?

Damn, if I was wrongly accused of fraud and had been left out of pocket through their unaccountable actions, I would be engaging a solicitors to defend myself and recover all sums due. And surely if they have proof of fraud, they are duty bound to report it to the necessary authorities? I would be asking for more details on this for sure.

Guess you could try to find a lawyer who'll accept this case and make a deal he gets a part of the winnings if he's able to retrieve it. A commission so to speak.

Are you kidding yourselves? Do you think these people are greenhorns who are going to fall off the cliff the soon a player complains or has a lawyer sending the casino some letter?

Or do you even believe that William Dornat is a real name? And what authorities? Their friends in Curacao?

The legal jurisdiction is Curacao, the company is based in Cyprus. Do you really think there is any chance whatsoever to get a case through the courts?

For a final and last time people. These are standard tricks of rogue operators to avoid paying large winnings as that is coming out of their pocket and hurts them financially. Has been done a gazillion times before and unfortunately, will be done gazillions of times in the future as long as unwitting players are lured to their casino sites and deposit.

DO YOUR RESEARCH and STAY AWAY from such sites! After all, you are not buying a new car without having a test drive or at least a look under the hood.

Hi

Thank you for your reply.

We will get you all the proof, and you will see how it was already done when we said we would do it.

And the only one trying to steal here is you.

We will be in touch.
Enjoy our casino experience!

Sorry to hear that it has taken the turn I and others predicted. But, TBH, it was entirely predictable.

They will tell you that they can't give you any evidence of fraud because that would uncover their procedures to detect fraud in the first place. Standard answer and no court will ever ask them to give you such documents, well, not one in Curacao for sure.

Thanks for the support guys and as much as almost every fibre of me wants to defend myself and fight this, I'm afraid I am resigned to the wisdom of @Harry_BKK that this will be a dead end no matter what I'd try and do. I don't even think a PAB is worth wasting the time of @Casinomeister frankly.

I had a further email from my friend Billy last night who finally included confirmation of my refund being sent back to my deposit method (£450). Without any apology for all his rude bravado over the preceding emails of "you've already had your funds", he then confirmed that it had only been processed yesterday (probably after his emails) so it will show up with me in a day or so. I will confirm here when received.
I will simply have to be grateful for my refund and watch my dreams (that I can assure you I'd stupidly planned to bring to life for with the money) turn into a pile of dust.

Please, please let this be a stark warning to everyone -
Please stay the HELL away from PLAYHUB CASINO and ALL of its sister brands!!!! They have stolen £50,000 in winnings from a genuine depositing player under the accusation of fraud without any proof. There are many similar stories. Learn from my horrible experience and don't go anywhere near any of these casinos. You will not get your winnings. Customer Service is horrible, rude and sarcastic. Take your hard earned money somewhere reputable and don't be stupid like me!

Again, truly sorry to see such winnings going down the drain.

Will tag @maxd to see whether a PAB would be in any way helpful but I highly doubt it.

There's very few reputable casinos licensed out of Curacao, and none of the reputable ones take UK players. We tend to assume they're all rogue, with a few honourable mentions (e.g. Bitstarz etc).

Regarding a PAB:

No problem, I'd be happy to try though the chances of a happy ending are obviously not great. ;)

That said, if they fail to cooperate or are unable to substantiate their claims against the player then, of course, a Casinomeister Warning and possible Rogue listing are the likely result.

It's a kick in the teeth but just try and remember you didn't lose that much, and hopefully your thread here will save some other people from wasting their time.

I am worried about how much you'd invested in the winnings, saying you were planning your life around it but at the same time saying these stakes aren't unusual for you, it's setting off warning bells that you are betting more than you can afford to lose.

That’s a real kick in the proverbials.

What’s more frustrating is that there was no need to even play there if from the U.K :(I play at 3 sites in the main and I can say with as much certainty as possible that if I won that amount or more there, i would be able to sleep knowing it was coming. Wouldn’t even dawn on me that Jan at l and l would be out to fleece me :p

Just don’t go and play somewhere else looking to hit to get it back cos that has disaster plastered all over it.

Good luck

This is the effect of banning bonus-buys though. People who want them will find a way to play them. Instead of cutting out bonus-buys, they've just moved them to unrelated suppliers. Inevitable really.

If OP actually was cheating and PlayHUB casino had proof of that (which they say they have), no way in hell they would have refunded your deposit.
I really feel for you, OP.

I dont understand how serious providors like Red Tiger, will let scam sites like Playhub use their games to scam people.

The whole island of Curacao should be nuked.

Red Tiger do? Cor. Though as they're now part of NetEnt, I'd expect that to end when contracts come up.

The real clue is a few pages back when Senor Bullshit told the OP that his deposits had been refunded at the outset of the 'investigation' which obviously tells you there was no investigation ever, the matter was pre-decided simply because the player won and they were never, ever going to pay him.

This is the modus operandi of scam sites like Playhub, the casino cannot lose as big liabilities like the OP's will never get paid as long as they have holes in their arses and the confidence trick is to pay small 'winners' in deficit overall and also take advantage of problem gamblers. PG's are manna from heaven to them as they won't even have to go through the pretence of not paying them as they'll likely spunk balances until they bust. If the player asks for RG exclusion, they'll simply either not effect it or add the player's details to a 'sucker list' that their sister sites will bombard with promo e-mails.

The casinos are the lowest order of scum infesting the industry.

It is similar in many other industries , not just gambling . Where companies that owe money to numerous sources will pay a few to keep the Apple cart rolling , as the few they have paid will be vocal that everything is good . Just some accounts get shafted, until the whole thing comes crashing down years later.

Hey, so sorry to hear about your experience! I was signed up to Gamstop and sadly didn't too much research on this company when I signed up to them, deposited about £150 which I managed to get to £1600. Then whilst still on the site, I was signed out and told I was banned. After MANY emails mainly with this 'William Dornat' chap who was outrageously rude, calling me a fraudster and laughing at me being banned, so was obviously completely baffled, re sent through my verification documents, still getting blunt no you're banned responses, saying I knew a lawyer in curacao the whole shebang, I also emailed their parent company about how outraged I was just not at the situation but how rude they were. I kept at them constantly and then got an email from 'Felicia Johnson' on the same email chain saying my account had been reinstated. I originally thought they did this just to shut me up and would never be able to withdraw or they were hoping I'd rack up some losses, but I was able to withdraw and the money showed up two days later. I won't be using them again that's for sure but keep at them as I'd pretty much written that money off, especially after reading this thread whilst I was banned, and when it came through today it was a fantastic christmas bonus. Good luck!
