Pending charges on cc

I loaded my netspend card last night with a small amt, enough to make 2 deposits.

The 1st went through, after initially having some issues. The 2nd did not. I contacted support, they told me to try it again 40 min. later. I did and same thing. I then checked my netspend online and the 2nd and the 1st show as pending although the 2nd obviously didn't go through.

This has never happened to me before, so what are my options? Do I just wait hoping that will release the pending charge that didn't go through? It says up to 10 days, uggg!

I contacted the casino, and of course they were no help, kinda like tough cookie.

Actually, BB28, your options are limited. I've had this happened once or twice and the 2nd pending will fall off in a couple of hours, or days, when the processor doesn't run it thru. It sucks big time cause your money is tied up until it happens. Netspend won't budge and remove it, or at least they wouldn't for me. Usually takes a couple of days but I have had then clear in a matter of hours.

Now if the processor runs it thru but doesn't credit your account, don't know about that. Never had that happen.

Oh, had that 'fun' thing happen the last month I played online. It went like this -- put $150 on card... Deposit $75 at casino.... later on, deposit $50 at another casino.... Tried to make a $25 deposit later on, wouldn't go thru. Checked netspend acct online. It was -$100.... both the $75 and the $50 transactions were debited PLUS they were both pending. Took 3 days for one to fall off, took almost 2 weeks for the other to clear off. Netspend was no help, and neither was the casino.

That silly 'pending' makes no sense anyway... especially on a prepaid. Either the money is there or it's not. I've never understood the process and never will.

It will clear out... eventually. Good luck.
