Native Casinos
Native Casinos are a wild card in the industry. Some Native Casinos have great payouts, while others are not so great. The Native Casino that I worked for was more on the tight side of the payout scale. In California, the gaming pact between the state and the tribes did not require Native Casinos to publicly disclose payout percentages, and I'm thinking that probably the case with other states like Arizona, NM, Wisc and Michigan. I never really understood this, either. One would think that the tribal councils would voluntarily disclose this info to show that their games are fair and balanced - not ripping people off. The issue is sort of like comparing some of the smaller Indian casinos to a slot machine in Nevada that's at a grocery store, or mall or somewhere other than a casino. The payouts are always lower. Even the smaller guys like to call this "entertainment", but I don't think that their are too many people that call losing money "entertainment".
If you're ever in the San Diego area, try Barona Casino & Resort. Barona was one of our competitors and offer great games, entertainment, good food, reasonable hotel rates, etc.
