I want to give credit where credit is due, so special thanks to s163999 for letting us know about this new payment option:

Original NuCharge thread

Bodog (And I'm sure others soon, hopefully) now offers NuCharge as a means for USA players to deposit. NuCharge is pretty much a spinoff of PartyGaming's idea of selling Phone Cards and letting you transfer the phone card balance to your Bodog account.

I made a $200 deposit, and the fee was only $6. That works out to 3%, which is not bad at all. They're not being outrageous by any means. This rate is only .1% higher than Neteller was charging to directly fund your account.

I know for a fact that "Restricted" cards WILL WORK USING THIS METHOD.

I guarantee that Bodog will get a rush of signups after word of this gets around!!

My account was funded in SECONDS after going through the pin # and security code via Email from NuCharge and entering it in the Bodog client.

BEWARE:

DO NOT enter any false information when signing up at NuCharge! When they ask you for the last 4 digits of your SS#, GIVE THE CORRECT NUMBERS. They will ask you questions that verifies the information given to you. IE: County of residence in the past, etc etc....

Besides the above, I would highly recommend using this service.

Also, the "Main" website of NuCharge is www.makeapurchase.net. I'm assuming this is the "Parent" company.

It's a shame that they don't have a list of casinos that offer this payment option. Maybe someone could give them a call? I'm too lazy

Thanks for the info re: deposits. How do they handle withdrawals/payments back to the player? If funded with a credit card does it go back on the card as a credit? Is this still a phone card thing or something else entirely?

I'm assuming you can still use it as a phone card if you wanted to. They have to keep it legit and all. Say you bought a $300 phone card and only deposited $200 into a casino. I'm guessing you would still have $100 to use for calls.

For withdraws, I believe you would have to go through the casino itself and get a withdraw to your bank or whatever.

I think any kind of direct transfer may now be out for Casino's to US Banks. Does anyone know otherwise? Maybe a couriered / Fed Ex check is the only answer here?

It's really almost too much of a hassle...guess I'll stick to Vegas (this March) or Atlantic City (NJ) or Foxwoods/Mohegan Sun (CT). The NJ and CT casinos are within 2-3 hours driving time for me.

We now have to follow two Nucharge threads and two Bodog threads each no more than one day old. All closely related to the same subject. Clutter was supposedly one of the issues made for the creation of this forum.

I do very much appreciate the information though winbig & Riffrafter.

Bodog no longer offers the reload bonus at all, they said it was due to higher deposit/withdrawal transaction costs for them.

Update:

Their support number rings into a full voice mailbox. Not good. Awaiting an email response now.

My problem with them now is the fact that you can only have ONE card registered with them at any given time. This is a major problem if you use gift cards to deposit.
