Others will remember this better than me so correct anything I get wrong.

There was a member here some years ago, I think his handle was Seventh or 7777, a nice enough guy, well liked was my impression, I certainly liked him, well he was big on conspiracy theories and then one day he just passed, he was not that old, early 50's I think. Always struck me as odd that he passed so suddenly. His sister posted under his account awhile after and said there was nothing nefarious.

That is really scraping the bottom of the barrel. Too even imply that something was weird about someone dying young because they believed in conspiracy theories is distasteful at best.

Seriously this thread has turned into a rabble full of total crap getting posted now.

How on earth it has not been locked by now i will never know.

It's just something that came to slotplayer's mind, I agree a penchant for conspiracy theories is unlikely to be connected to his death, but obviously the recent direction the thread has gone in must have stirred slotplayer's memory.

Why does it offend you so much, and I haven't even mentioned atheism for at least 3 days

Maybe other members might now remember 7777 and say some nice things about him, it doesn't have to lead to a distasteful conclusion. I didn't know him, before my time sadly.

Be interesting to see what he posted about and whether he got into the same sort of scraps I've been finding myself inadvertently getting into.

I must admit I've over done fox news these last couple of days, watching tucker, lou dobbs, laura and then a bit of hannity, each and every night before I go to sleep, may not be the wisest thing for my health and sanity.

I wont trust it until i see it on tepid reports!
But for real, it was mostly a dig towards the credibility of that site.
No need for sources, anyone can submit "articles" etc.
Its no more factual than your Pooh bear story. =)

If its unbiased alternative news one is after, that site is probably the worst way to go about it.

I'll change the subject, I watched a clip of joe biden, must've been from the 70's, he was quite a tough, pugnacious character....this is him when younger:

quite a handsome fella, must be tough having all the new upstarts showing him little to no respect when he's seen so much. I'm not familiar with his record in politics though, whether he is viewed as very successful and influential in democrat circles.

There were only two people's posts, yours and steviedo's. And not for the first time it seems you're trying to tarnish me again with generalisations and misrepresentations, I don't think I would have said atheists were like weird cultists with no moral standing, there would have been a lot more important context to it than that.

Maybe you're not worked up but that is how it's coming across, 'damn one, clueless' etc and there's nothing I can say now to lighten the mood or hold out an olive branch, you've made up your mind I'm some sort of religous nut who wants to attack atheists. I prefer individuals to make up their own mind from all the philosophical possibilities, I don't like assertive movements pushing people in either direction re religion or atheism.

These aren't the kind of subjects helped by getting worked up about it, I do like a debate, you only get to use this brain once, the rest is unknown, and if someone can get me to see something in a new light then I've benefitted and opened up new insights.

I'll pasted it up, it seems to be from his last months on the forum around 2013...he had some of the similar arguments I've had over 9/11, sad that he was a bit of a lone voice regarding his conspiracy theories, got attacked more about them than received support or open debate, I wished I'd been around at the same time, we'd got on fabulously. He also found the same hypocrisy as I do with obama getting the nobel peace award

Right the last remaining posts span from dec 30 2012 up to jan 30 2013 there's 10 pages of postings.

I didn't know it was 2013. I thought it was like 10 years ago. I may have not participated in any threads which is why you might not see any posts. I do remember taking a long break from the forum because I wasn't getting any work done.

TBH, all the years sort of blend together now. This is what happen when you get older. That's why I didn't jump on Mueller when goaded, I'll be there some day if I live that long.

I was slightly wrong earlier about seventh and basing my view on the last [available via his profile] 3 months of his posts, when he got into a few heated debates re 911 in the banning guns thread...but the RIP thread shows how well loved and respected he was.
With a naughty sense of humour too, one of life's characters, who had a positive affect on people around him of that I'm in no doubt.

It was getting me depressed. But I did read the RIP thread and you could see how he touched a lot of members.

I didn't know I'd find a R.I.P. thread, I never went looking for it, you're just desperate to get me banned, it's you that is trying to get something out of this, that's the real sickness. Slotplayer hasn't posted to attack me, he was interested in looking at some of the old threads and knew Seventh777. we could have done it all by pm, but I've never pm'd slotplayer...in hindsight I should've done just that and not given you an opportunity to carry on this personal vendetta you're fixated about.

Right well lets trawl through all your posts when replying directly and indirectly to me, there's a lot of hostility and trying to cause ganging up by deliberately posting derision and ridicule. Making false and misleading accusations about things I'd said in other threads, bringing it up in different threads, that sounds like vendetta/stalking behaviour to me.

Just use my name, everyone knows who you're directing it at, but you're still playing your hostile silly games, where you want people to guess who it is "More the way someone else was carrying on about it"

I didn't judge him when he said he was searching for the threads. Mack is a decent guy that is respectful. You could of just asked him, why he was searching for the threads.

I’ve been reading this thread throughout the day....and from my perspective you are blowing things out of proportion...and you tried to escalate things and thankfully mack didn’t fall for it....

As much as I disagree w Mack and slotplayer they haven’t been rude...yes their ideas for most of us might be out there but they are entitled to their opinions and can do whatever they want...bringing up a dead forum member and making a big deal... I think you did that all on your own....yes slotplayer did so and yes I commented....but I said...it wasn’t strange at all and that the thread was going sideways...
