No more 3dice for me :)!!

Well
Ive just lost 31 deposits in a row. small deposits mind you but still THIRTYONE. I know Im still ahead $260 overall but THIRTYONE deposits in a row with no cashout ok let me say this easier to understand .

THIRTY ONE DEPOSITS

please someone explain how this can happen over night. Ok, not overnight but since 9/29/08:confused:

Well Babs, they are screwing with you! :D Does Enzo have any explanation for this (other than the usual ebb and flow, expected variance BS?) :D

I'm still a little hot at 3Dice for lowering the blackjack limits to $50 across the board "to even out the increased slot maximums," so I'll wait for Enzo's response before I say anything that I might regret.

They lowered SuperSlots from $9 to $4.50 and that's a slot. That was the only slot besides Industria that I got free rounds on with ok pay but it was only on lower bets like .10-.20 on SS and .27-.45 on Industria. As soon as I bet higher I got wiped out. This all started when I got Payola

The list of players that are coming out in public to declare they are leaving this casino is growing larger by the day.

I too have decided to leave this one alone. 15 or so deposits. One cashout. I think it was on my first night there. Well, OK, that happens. No biggie. But what I don't like is that I have never since that first night managed to get my bank balance up to even double of my deposit. Never. Put in $50 and get up to $75 or so before dropping. I might get up to $75 twice but never above that.

Bah! I am out of this one. There are just too many others that play better.

:)

FWIW, I'm not leaving, it's just a matter of being upset over the new blackjack table maximums, and their increasing certain slot's bet size. Maybe I'm taking this in the wrong way, but it seems to me that they don't like advantage players? That's the only reason I could come up with.

...and FTR, My cashouts vs deposits is into the 120% range, overall, so I'm not complaining about that by any means. :)

I wanna move out of the USA and to a nice lil flat in England where I can play my heart out!

Any of you Brits looking for a roomie:p

No need for that. We'll just start a commune and build up a stockpile of weapons and start our own religion and and and............AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

winbig? Are you really playing blackjack at 3dice? Good grief...you are a glutton for punishment if you are..I played it quite a few times but it seems something is "off" on this game too..especially when you draw 6 23's in a row against the dealers 10 (I had 13 that many times IN A ROW mind you).

Then the dealer pulls 4 black jacks..and 3 - 21 's back to back...again I asked how many decks and I got no answer...ahhh well...good luck to you if you do play!

Anyone know how to get the players transaction play log there? I sure would love to post some of them tragic hand runs. Please excuse please, didn't mean to go off on a tangent (different direction that is).

Believe it or not, yes.

Glutton for punishment? Maybe.

Streaky? Of course. They go both ways, and it's no worse than RTG blackjack.

After my last blackjack session that started around $5 a hand and maxed out @ $50 a hand, I was up $500 in no time.

and yes, I've seen many back to back to back dealer blackjacks, but I've had my fair share of the same.

That goes for the dealer drawing out to 21 against my 20. I've had my fair share of my 21's against a dealer 20, as well - a few even being from a starting hand of 15/16.

The thing is, it's easier to remember (anywhere) how many times the dealer draws out on you than it is for you to remember how many times you drew out against the dealer.

Bottom line: you have to ride out the streaks and notice when the losing streak starts and get out before they cripple you. play a few other games then go back to blackjack.

....oops, I think I said too much already.

FWIW: you = anyone in general.

[edit]Moral of the story: Rigged? No. Streaky? Yes.

I finally got a win and the best play i got was on Payola, SuperSuits and Industria......Babs hun you may find out what's going on hun with your depo's that doesn't sound right to me.

wow there was a forum member that posted about 8 months ago this

"I bet 1k that, by the end of this year 08,most of us, actually of you guys, at least 90 % ,wont be playing there anymore at 3Dice
I did make this forecast few months ago to a friend of mine on the forum(long before I closed my account)......still I wanted to be wrong........but after this ......I can bet on it"

Imagine that

This should not be a problem, as from what I understand, you can have personalized bet limits. Some time ago, just before my 3D account was blocked for good, Enzo sent me this email (not that I asked about it ;) )

Hi,
Just a short heads-up to let you know that we can do personalized bet-limits at 3Dice, so if you would like to have higher bet limits on certain games, just let me know and I'll be happy to accommodate you.

  - so they can limit a bet size one a single account now!!. come on people if they can do this they can tweak there own software, MG could not do this system upgrade to a individual account, if they did it to one account they would have to do it across the board, This is really worrying to me.

That's right Winbig

I forgot to mention that, Fleur heard the same thing I did. You can have your limits raised on slots and tables to personalize your playing. Im not sure thats a good idea though

My BJ max is still $100. And I'm 99% sure Enzo didn't change any of my limits.
Winbig, if you were playing with a bonus (with WRs you didn't complete) in your last session, the sign on the BJ table will say $50 until your next deposit (or bonus without WRs).

And about changing limits for certain customers. I don't see anything wrong with that. There are high rollers out there who don't find playing $5 per spin very appealing. Eg. at ladbrokes you can play 10000 per game in BJ if you're a VIP. They don't want to do this for everyone, probably because it would be too risky. They want to know their customers first. And theres also the fact that casinos need a reserve (money in the bank :)) for the games they're offering. They need to be able to pay out quickly and hassle free even to those super lucky players.
Its called running a responsible business.
Whenever you see a casino offering $100 slot spins (RTG) with $4000 max payout per week (40x max bet!!) you know they don't have the reserve they should have. They are relying on fresh deposits to pay out the following week(s). They should, however, have funds in a seperate reserve account to pay the lucky winner who hits 2000x bet on $100 spin! And if they can't do that, they should lower their limits!

I did have a bonus in play from a small tournament win, but when my balance hit $0, the WR were canceled and no longer show up in the cashier. I sort of doubt that it wouldn't update until my next deposit, but we'll see.

Yes, and no. If they lower limits without telling somebody, then it's wrong. For instance, if bet sizes were increased/decreased at any casino without them telling me, I have an issue with it. In this day and age, it takes no time to send a blanket e-mail letting everyone know about what was changed and why. Casinos do this for promotions all the time, so why can't they do the same for a major change in betting limits?

It's bad practice to change something and let the players figure it out for themselves, and if they were to send everyone an email letting us know what was going on, we wouldn't even be having this discussion. :)

True, but we're talking about $100 vs $50 here, not thousands at a time.

This is also true, but under-funding isn't always the case. IIRC, Nash had a similar experience semi-high-rolling at TIV, and they adjusted the max cashout per week/month for him. While still being somewhat low in comparison to deposits/bet sizes, it was still increased.

All in all, 3Dice is still good in my book, simply for the fact that their customer service is among the best as far as online casinos go, and they payout quickly, even to USA residents. As with my last withdrawal, it only took 4 days to get a money order from them that I was able to cash immediately upon receipt. This is unheard of for Americans, in this day and age. I wish more casinos were like this. :p

You just have to be extremely lucky and have discipline to manage you bankroll to offset the losses in high variance games to be able to cashout. :D

As far as I know 3Dice don't change limits without telling the players.
Lmao, I hope your BJ limits go back to $100, or I may have to go dig myself a hole... :p

IMHO, any kind of max payouts is a sign the casino desn't have the proper funding. They should be prepared to pay quickly, and if they can't, they should lower their limits.

Supersuits changed from $9 max to $4.50 max and I figured it out instead of someone telling us too ref. I too love the fast payouts and customer service but If you cant win after 31 deposits in a row whats the point to the rest. If my money order was sent in 1 day rather than 4 Id still be where Im at.

I have an earlier thread on this, I had a streak that was incredible - and I really regret I didn't record it! (Camtasia studio anyone...). However I never got the player logs aswell, I asked for them atleast 10 times without any luck. For the record - I had an incredible loosing streak with crazy cards - and followed by the same one winning, then a loosing one so I lost. Doesn't matter really, since the BJs appearing in rows, and 21s was so incredible I will never believe this is even remotely possible in real life.

However, I remember how that thread ended - you got the same treatment in here.

That is the most common sense post I've read in here.

As to changing table limits, as Same Old mentioned, I was pretty sure that MG can indeed change an individual's table limits, and Refre just confirmed what I was thinking. That is not isolated to 3Dice at all. Thanks Refre, you saved me having to check that fact. :)

I definitely agree with you about the part of having to be extremely lucky there...no doubt...:p

I've had some of that extremely lucky senario there about three times this year and it was spread out at about two and a half months apart...

If you think about it, even if the percentage of wins vs. losses are "normal", a casino game that has been manipulated to be streaky will bust far more players than average by eliminating their bankroll during a "down" streak.

Kmiss, you said "crazy cards", and that is a good way to put it. I played mostly 3 card and texas hold'em poker, not blackjack, and experienced the same thing.

I once had my straight flush lose to a higher straight flush in 3 card poker... The odds of two simultaneous straight flushes hitting on 3 card are less than 1 in 200,000. Did I mention that I lost the hand?

That was not the only "anomaly" I experienced in my 3 card poker game play at 3Dice. I would get dealt 8 hands in a row jack high or worse. The dealer would get 5 straights in 12 hands. Etc., etc., etc!!!! Way, way, way too many hand patterns of remote probability. I wont even talk about my wonderful (not) experiences while playing the texas hold'em game.

In my opinion, the cards at 3Dice are NOT RANDOM. Rather, they are "patterned" to yield a lot of streaky play, giving the house a better oportunity to break a player. Just like their high variance slots.

Can I prove this? Nope. But I closed my account, and I won't be back, not even for the free tourneys.

I have one last question for Enzo that's been brought up several times.

Why hasn't 3Dice submitted all of their gaming logs for the past year+ to be audited by an independent firm?

I think that in doing so, it will definitely put players minds at ease. :)
