New slot at 3dice

Extremely disappointed

I Just played the new game and was extremely disappointed in it. I spent almost $60 to win $4.50 on the bonus round of 16 free spins x 2 multiplier x 3 wild....at $.60 cent a spin.....

Hopefully someone else is luckier than I was with it.

:::shaking head::::  I guess I was born a sucker....

Gonna try better on not getting snookered in on new things, I swear!

Soooo disappointed!!!!!:sob: It became boring after a while but I was determined to see what the bonus round held and I guess they showed me , huh!

Started with $10, my initial triggers was four scatters and got 16 spins at 4X multiplier. It retriggered four more times, don't know how many spins total...alot, lol. All at only 2X multiplier though. This was for a 20 cent bet.

Edited to add: the music feature is nice. The internet radio station option is down right now, but I'm playing my own MP3's while I play. This hit while I had The Ramones on, lol.

Finally got the bonus round...pretty cool! I used to do LSD a LONG time ago................but this slot gave me a flash-back! I think alot of thought goes into these 3Dice slots! Kudos to them!

im getting ready to play for real now, any advice on how much to bet? i did hit a round in the fun play, betting 15.00 lol and ended up with 33 games and 245.00, cant be doing that crap in real play:eek:.........laurie.......just wanted to add 3 dice did put in alot of time to get us a new slot, thanks guys...

Since the tournament server is down I had to check it out.

I for one did not like it at all, I think it looks really booring, old fashioned and not fun to play at all - and this is comming from a slot lover! Tried it in fun mode and the first 15 dollar spin hit the bonus for 30 bucks, yeeha.

Where are the reels? Where are the line combo's, the cool crisp symbols - where are what we are already teached to love with slots? Sure 3Dice comes up with new slots, original ones, but this one just don't work for me! Old fashioned records with black and white portraits on them? Gimme a break, seriously the marketing people have to be removed!

I just don't get any slot feeling at all on this one!

There's gonna be some hot screenshots from this slot Kmiss! Prolly not from me cuz I'm unlucky! But I'm sure the screenshot thread will have some Payola submissions! Good to see you brother! I always read your submissions!

I remember a few years ago when the Star Wars videoslot hit the casino floors in Guthenborg, here is a page with a picture of it:

Old / Expired Link

Now that is a slot machine that is cool to play! Lot's of action, blinking lights, video modes, crazy sounds, different symbols for different coinsize, spinning death star and well.. It has it all! I lost a fortune on it though, but compare that one with the new 3Dice slot and you get my point on how a modern video slot should look like - atleast in 2008!

We shouldn't just love new slots because they are new! I have standards for where I want to "invest" my money, :D

Here's a video of it aswell, vide review:

I upped my bet to 40 cents, and went up and down, up and down...then hit the bonus again and got two retriggers. The last retrigger was for 78 spins at a 4X multiplier. I doubt I'll get rich playing it....but it sure is different. And I really like the built in music player that you can program with your own music, or choose a radio station from a preset list. So far, thumbs up from me.

So I'm up to $70, starting with $10 and I've been playing for quite a while, can't complain.

I think it will have to wait until tomorrow now as it's almost beddy byes for me. Laurie, I wouldn't bet too high that's for sure. Of course, I'm the ultimate low roller anyway, lol.

Any slot you play in "Fun Mode" is gonna suck! There's nothing on the line to keep you interested! Play it in real and bet the house....I'll bet it gets more interesting!

I dont think you can compare 3dice slots to land based slots unless you compare all online slots to B&M casinos. ;)

I think online slots are stuck to the software they run on and thats it. 'fact'

I do hear what your saying though kims, online slots could be a whole lot better by far. But i think it comes down to greedy owners.

Just think off the money it would take to get a whole line up off slots online like star wars from one software provider.

I dont think these kind off investments come like that for the online slot player. even know its a straight money game 'house edge' and all.

No big time business/man/woman would ever invest, far to many other ways to make the readys easier.

It would be probably like investing and making a computer game, that kind off money for each slot.

But if rockstar had the bulls it would be wicked!

I am playing the new slot now, on a free tourn for tourny chips.
I have had 3x78 maxinums plus plenty off retriggers and triggers off all sizes i am up 4.5k and in fourth.

I have also had more free spins than actual money wagers in the last hour since playing.

I have had zero winners since my last withdrawlal at redflush and a month before that to. My cash has gone knowhere the last two months.

And i am more than ready to kick rival, but they keep giving me nice deposit bonus when i have cash. they obviously know my pattern and are taking turns on milking lookaway :D

I wish i could have broken this new 3dice slot in on a cash deposit as i think its a great new addition and would off got me off big time.

I do think that if 3dice brought out a couple off slots like this a month they would be almost gods off the online slot world.

Ps, anyone get a free invite to the jackpot factory 100k tourn, it kicked off 7 minutes ago and it looks like they have given out more than three thousand free entrys, i do feel sorry for those who paid to get in or for continues to seel their place.

Good luck to all who play in it some buzz right! :)

You are ofcourse completely right, however this should be the standard they should try to adopt nevertheless!

What I do not understand is why we havn't got multiplayer rooms yet, where we can accually see other people playing the slots and have to wait in turn to wager. That would be so sweet, a real casino feeling! Instead we see new slots popping out not doing anything new really, :/

Good effort though, don't get me wrong here! And yes, I am not happy on all the new MG slots either - some of them really sucks!

My 2 cents of the new slot Payola!

I played it some. And i have to say, that for me, the free spins are really bad. I had so small wins that i dont even know what to say.

On the other hand, it seems to pay alot more in the game it self. You can play for a long time for a 10.

The radio and music feature is great.

So...3Dice...some better free spins and this could be really good.

Payola Rocks

Payola for me has great features and i love the way the jukebox flashes in time to the music you are listening to :)

I myself played it in real and got hours of play on $10 and i haven't had that kind of play on most of the other slots:)

I think guys we all need to give ourselves time to get used to the betting and re triggering and so on and see how it goes.....like Mona said I would like to see the payouts a little higher....pretty plz Enzo xxx :)

Good Luck whatever game you play

Hi Guys,

With the release of Payola, the design team has tried to fill a gap in the range of slots we offer producing a machine that tries to cater to the many players that are looking for longer playing times. Not quite low variance yet, and with a top x8 multiplier and 78 free-spins the big wins are still possible, but on average the features will be less aggressive and players should expect an average playtime of up to three times more than some of our other slots.

Graphics wise, the payola is heavily focused on the music, and with custom mp3 playlists and internet radio support now replacing our old music system, be sure to play it with your favorite tunes in the background. As with everything in life, we don't expect payola to be everyone's favorite. Quite often good for everyone means exceptional for no-one .. the theme and style choices for payola cater to a specific audience - and I full heartedly agree that the overlap with the trekkies may be minimal ;) - perhaps one of our future theme choices will rock your boat :)

Our team is looking forward to more feedback and suggestions, and as always we will try to incorporate as much of that as possible in our future releases.

Greets,

Enzo

Thank you Enzo :)

As you know we will always let you know what we think :)

Thanks again for LOLA it's fab......and I know we will love it or hate it like any game we play in life:eek2:

You're the Man

Good Luck in all the games you play!!!!

Kudos to you, Enzo, but you previously told me the next slot was a spooky one that was coming out three months ago.. hmm..

Hi again all :)

Ok..i played some more...and now im about to tell you my 10 cents of it :)

Payola can really have you playing for a long long time...
and...the spins arent that bad if you get a few retriggers..and that seems easy to get.

GOOD LUCK ALL :)

(((HUGS))) Trollet

the spins arent that bad if you get a few retriggers..and that seems easy to get.
Then I must have been holding my head wrong...for I got 1 free spin round with no retriggers and all of $4.50 for almost $60 worth of spins @ 60 cents a spin...do the math..I did...and it was not nice at all..

Now the butterfly one I get a lot of play out of...and truly like that one a lot...hopefully one day I can get them butterflies..that is...all of them :D

I played it today too, and I have to say it's not my cup of tea either.

I started on 40c & did get 2 lots of free-spins quite early on; the first was 16, and the second was 33, which I think re-triggered (not sure because I got called away from the PC for a few minutes - but they were still free-spinning when I got back!). But they didn't pay much.
Then after about 50 spins of nothing I was getting bored so upped to $1 spins to try to make it more exciting - but that didn't work... :(

Coincidently I discovered another new slot on another software today which was totally awesome! It was probably just beginners luck, but I got 16 features in 239 spins, and because it was paying well I upped my bets & did loads of spins at $3 & $4.50 a throw!
Started with $75, hit $423 at one point, and finished on $376. (Only 1 win over x22.5, which was x50)
The game will be revealed when I do a slot review on it in the next day or 2...

Sorry for the slight derail!
;)

Weird.....I played it in their $10 tourney @ $15/spin max, and went for about 5 hours. At first I was getting the max 78 spins left and right (multiple $1500+ bonus rounds.) During one free spin round, I ended with 198 total spins.

At my peak, I was just shy of $10,000 from a starting balance of $2000. I still have a balance of around $6,000, but had stuff to do so I'll hit it up later tonight or tomorrow morning before this tournament ends.

I played it today too, and I have to say it's not my cup of tea either.
I too tried again with 2 deposits just to know it is not a very nice slot at all..I hit the 16 free spins on frst deposit and got all of $4+ dollars on 80 cent spins!

I then proceeded to try it again, got 33 free spins and made a whopping $10+ dollars on it...at 80 cent a spin..I think this is one game that is a load of turkey doo doo..I will probably not play it again...it really is one lousy slot..

So, that makes 3 deposts, 3 tries and all a bunch of garbage...with that said...good luck to you who do play it..(beating myself up for being so stupid, with depositing there and knowing how bad some of their other slots are..so, please, no offense meant to anyone on this)

Hi Guys

I wasn't going to post here for obvious reasons. After receiving some requests from friends and a good amount of time playing Ive decided to post because why should I not post? First before I give my opinion, Everyone knows that Enzo uses testers before the "showing" He's done it for all of his slots and this time I got to be a tester along with many others. Ive been asking to be a tester for awhile now. I am telling you all this because that means I have been playing this game since Monday evening, so that gave me almost 4days of play time. I also didnt want to post until I got that amount of time in because I wasnt sure if anything would be different between the testing period and the release.

I think he worked his butt off and I also think the slot is creative. The fact that he put in a sound system is so very cool whether you play payola or not. The sound system works through the whole casino and I love that! I love the concept of the slot as well as the chosen rockstars (Jim Morrison is my favorite all time Rock star)

Here comes the disappointing news on my part: The payouts are less than desirable. I understand that he wanted to give people more playing time but in my personal experience, that just wasnt the case. I not only didnt get much play time from my deposit but I had atleast 5 or bonus rounds and the payouts were horrendous. I had 16 spins on 80 cents and ended up with under $10, I had 33 spins @60cents and ended up with $5.46, it gets worse from there. I sooo wanted this slot to be good. Ive been a little quiet this week in here because I guess I was expecting more from this slot. The other thing that bothers me is that there is no sounds to the game. If Im watching tv when I gamble and I play Payola...Im just hearing records turnng into place, no bells, no whistles, just nothing. I know thats what they wanted for the game so people can hear the music but there are alot of people who watch tv or just concentrate on their slot and want to hear results, not just see them

I feel aweful about this and I disclosed my feeling to 3dice before I posted. I told them I was staying out of 3dice threads but after thinking about it, I would of looked shady if I didnt post when there was something I didnt like about 3 dice and I dont want to be that way. Ive been honest from the beginning and Im not going to stop now. Im sure the people who like this slot are going to keep playing. I know for me, I will continue to be a loyal customer because of their other slots and Video Poker and customer service. 3dice will always be my favorite and only casino, I just wont be playing Payola. Who knows, maybe this spooky one thats coming out soon will be better plus they are working on Bingo, so there still is exciting stuff coming out

In closing I have to agree with the majority on this slot. The payouts need to be adjusted and I feel sound should be added. Enzo? Great job on the slot itself and all of the graphics and the wonderful music. I will always be one of your most loyal customers :)

I played for around 15 minutes at a tourney. The payouts were on the low side but I am numb to this as 3 Dice slots normally gives you low payouts until you hit a beaut. This reminds me of Supersuits though and some of the background music seems almot the same with that one. Seeing the records spin made me dizzy so I will have to revisit this one and finish off the tourney later when I get more sleep.

Have to add my 2 cents worth here. The new Payola slot(in my own opinion) is extremely Boring.
Played quite awhile in tourney mode and there was nothing spectacular about it and the payouts were quite low, even in free spins.

Babs,

First off, you don't need to be apologising to anyone or holding back from posting whatever you like IMO. You are an honest person who just says what she sees. You carry on - I'll back you up all the way.

On the slot:
When I played it I definitely had sounds to go with the graphics!
Are you sure your settings are right?

I can not disagree about the amount of work they put into the graphics (as usual), but for me it's just not quite right. The main part (the reels) are too small compared to the surroundings and what's going on in the bonus feature is confusing & not terribly clear.

I don't have a problem with the payouts - the slot is low variance so the wins are going to be small. You could potentially get a big win by getting 100+ spins and some lucky hits (though you may fall asleep waiting for the outcome). It's very similar in this respect to some Rival and MG slots. You can't have everything all at once... sorry!

The main problem with it is it's just too darned BORING! :(
I played Industria yesterday as well - now that is an exciting slot!

The best thing about Crapola (someone had to be first ) is it also features (a very tiny picture of) my favourite rock star... Freddie! :notworthy

Nice try Enzo - better luck next time!
KK

I agree with KK about the small reels as that is not entirely to my taste either.

But what could be done is, like with the video poker where you can change the way you view the game.

An option just to show mainly the reels enlarged and nothing else could just make this slot that bit more a classic.

Or another option to keep the game as it is, but during free spins to show the reels enlarged i think would be the best option for me anyway.

I know you listen enzo so....maybe

I actually realy liked the game and the way the reels spun was amazing with the electric shocks on a payline win was sweet, think what that would be like over enlarged...Great!

Also calling this slot Crapola was very harsh KK IMO it has potential in many ways and is like nothing i have ever seen.

I think this slot sets off a good balance against the other slots at 3Dice seeing that most of them are on the high variance side. Sometimes you just want to play for awhile for your money. I think that the possibility of 78 free spins @8X gives this game alot of potential in the bonus rounds, and in case you weren't aware, the wild symbols triple the line wins instead of the typical doubling of it. Of course, my first outing with this game didn't prove to be a winning experience, but I didn't expect it anyway. I think it has to grow on some people the same way that Industria did.

LOL

Tim, I fogot to mention that part. On VIdeo Poker there are 2 views now. You can see the closeup or press the button and have it look more like a machine/ Its pretty cool looking

LOL KK..I love Industria too, Also, I do hear something but it just sounds like a record going in to to a jukebox and the sound of the spins are low. I kinda get dizzy too:p

Maybe it will grow on me but only if the payouts change. I like play time but I also like cashouts lol

KK:the slot is low variance
On the screen it says it is a MEDIUM variance. That should pay more than low...IMO..
Tim5ny:I think that the possibility of 78 free spins @8X gives this game alot of potential
Well, I played over 500 + spins and the potential was there too and nada..so, that doesn't even entice one to play since as everyone is saying...it is BORING and to sit there and spin 78 times and win squat would be truly criminal on the casinos part, again IMO.

33 Spins was awful enought to watch through, I can't imagine watching 78 spins...It would make me want to smack someone in the back of the head and ask "Just WHAT were you THINKING" when you made this slot???? (which I did when I got crap on the 33 spins)

I downloaded 3Dice just to give this slot a chance.

I got 78 spins x2. Retriggered twice, for 78 and 16. 172 spins. Guess what? It paid a whopping $500 on $7.40. I'm sorry but when you get nearly 200 spins and don't get to 100x that is a complete and utter joke.

Quickly uninstalled.

Grading this slot out of 10.. I give it a 2.5

I do like this new slot. It's low variance (compared to other 3Dice slots), so in most sessions you will be getting a lot of play time. And sometimes thats what I want. Wins will be smaller than on say Tut or SS, but you can still hit some great wins. Re-triggers are common, and it seems if you can just hit them once or twice in the beginning of the bonus round, you will often hit a few more later.

Got this last night. Started with $10.

CasinoKidd, was that $7.40 a spin?

i think it will grow on us , just like the other games did, we will just have to get used to it, as we did industria and that damn non paying fortune falls that i loved so well in the beginning and hate now, it all comes and goes in phases i think of how well we like a game, but given time this one may be a winner also, just my opinion.........laurie
