I am getting pissed now. For almost a week my balance has been in the negative. I have 339.00 that I cannot access because of this. I emailed them last night and still no reply. I cannot deposit anywhere until this negative balance clears.Last weekend i loaded 270.00 as usual on a Saturday and was rady to relax with some Tut at three dice and card denied due to lack of funds! Has this happened to anyone before?

I just got off the phone 1 86 netspend ( I think its the same number Jas gave) they double dipped me too. I didnt know it until I just made a re-load and was showed a balance of .25 I only deposit once a week and its always same amount. I called and they credited me right away. I hope you have the same luck..

I had a reload card a few months back and it went into a negative balance. That was my fault. The stupid thing about them was that when I tried to make a deposit onto the card to clear up the negative balance they would not allow it! No matter how many times i tried.

Good, now I can't fund the card so they dont get the negative amount back and they dont get any new money put on the card.

When you call 1-86Netspend, listen through all the punch x numbers and the very last thing will tell you to punch 0 for a representative.

Probably won't get anyone today since it is Sunday. Western Union put a hold on funds once on mine and Netspend cleared it up right away.

Not to support Netspend but sometimes it is the casinos and if they don't clear the holds, Netspend doesn't know that they are not going to actually charge it.

I've had mine for well over a year and only once have I had any problem with it.

The $9.95 is the amount they charge if you choose to go on the monthly 'unlimited' plan. If they charged you $1 for making a purchase, after you went on this plan, they're definitely in the wrong. :p

The $9.95 for the card, yea, that's where they get you. Of course you can sign up online and get a "free card," but in the fine print they do tell you that you'll be charged $9.95 once you load it for the first time.

The same thing has been happening to me...I thought it was the casino I was playing at, so I talked to the casino and they told me to wait a few days and watch the pending ones come off, after the pending ones go away your balance "should" be back to normal. I think it did take mine almost a week to clear up.

I still have 2 pending ones for about a week now

Well its 2 weeks in a row Netspend has double -dipped my weekly deposit. I guess its time to activate the wired plastic card. I'm just wondering if this may be done on purpose because they know where the charges on going to??

I am now eating crow. Disregard my previous posts about never having trouble with Netspend. They have hung me for $100. And yes, they do know that Slotocash, my pendings, is a gambling site and because of that, so they say, they are holding funds even though Slotocash has already collected. Netspend says Slotocash messed up by not processing the right transaction. I am posting below my email from Slotocash. They hold funds for 7 days. Funny though, Slotocash is the only one they got. The other charges to CW and Villento come though as something else so no problem with them.

"Following up on your recent contact with us regarding Netspend. Netspend have what they call pending transactions whereby they keep a customers funds on account for 30 days to cover previous transactions that have already cleared. This makes it appear to the customer that they have been billed twice. Netspend inform their customers that this is due to forced transactions by the merchant, however after a 30 day period Netspend release the funds back to the customers account. We have contacted Netspend on numerous occassions about this matter and it would seem this is a policy they have in place for online gaming sites and happens only on transactions made at the end of a month.

As a goodwill gesture I have credited your account with $50, however this issue can only be resolved by contacting Netspend and insisting they release your funds.

We have had many of our VIP customers encounter problems with Netspend and I would suggest that you use an alternative deposit method such as Quicktender for future deposits at Sloto'Cash.

Please let me know if Quicktender would be of interest to you as this is by personal invitation only."

You can bet your sweet A** that I will be funding an alternate deposit method.

I also have a pending transaction with Netspend and I called about it and they said there was nothing they could do and it would fall off in 30 days. Its $100 or $1 over the 7day hold. They never replied to email so I complained on there feedback form and guess what? They did it again with my last depsoit. So now my account is negative 98.00 and I have to start over with the 30 days. I'm done with Netspend. Their customer service stinks.

My "double dips" are both with 3 dice.

** lesson to learn if you must use Netspend. Always deposit less than $99 in the event that they do screw you, your $$$ will only be held hostage for 7 days.

PD

i am going through the exact same thing. i loaded my card on saturday. went away for the night so was gonna let the gf spin while i was away. my card was immediatley zeroed out. contacted casino. they didnt take the money. contacted netspend and got the same answer. i was double charged and the money will go back on my card after 30 days. no play for me for 30 days as i'm not putting another dime on my netspend until i get the dough back. the funny thing is the transaction was NOT on the website until i put the money on the card. then it said pending transaction. there is no way of knowing if i put more money on the card if it will be taken again for more "pending transactions". strange situation as all deposits, to casinos, are 1 dollar less than i put on the card since netspend charges a dollar transaction fee. the "pending transaction" was exactly the dollar amount i loaded on the card. the guy i spoke with at netspend was real cool. he plays at 3d also. he said he got interested when he kept seeing so many transactions for them. he said the double charge is very common.

It's not just gambling charges. I had a hold for a hotel room that I had to call them about. Funny thing was that they could drop it immediately because the hotel had already run the charge. But they wouldn't for gambling charges. But I had charges this week for casinos and none of them were held. All went thru within a day or so. No held pendings. How strange.

Somebody mentioned they had a double dip on their Netspend card, so I went to see my card and sure enough I was double dipped again. I find it real strange I'm only having this problem with my Visa netspend and only with Sloto. this has now happened 3 times with them and only with the visa card. When I use my MasterCard it goes through fine. Since my deposits are under 100.00 it goes away after 7 days, but this is real strange and irritating.

Lucky you, my double dip was for 200.00, so I will have to wait 30 days:mad:

i too have been double dipped but it is for cw. or inet. not sure as the codes are different and change sometimes. anyway this has happended to me before and within a week it is cleared and i can then use the money. it doesnt happen often to me. i hate it . now i cant play with netspend money because my account is tied up.

Here's what I have been doing and it will only work once or twice. I have two Netspend cards. The one that I use for depositing at casinos I keep no money on. Then when I get ready to play I transfer just enough to cover what I want to deposit. So far, I have had nothing put on hold with this option. At least they can't tie up more money than what's on there. Like I said, either deposit all of it at one place or make all your deposits at one time at difference places. They don't hit you twice until the casino actually runs the charges 1-2 days later.

Am I making sense? It works for me now that I know what they are doing.
