My mom had a win at an MG casino and was asked for dosc, which is strange, never been asked by an MG before, but I guess it is good that they are carefull. Anyways, she sent in the utilitybill and drivers licens. After a day she got an email saying that she also needs to send in a screenshot of her netelleraccount, with the name and accountnumber visible.
Fine, I helped her to do this - but is this something new? or is it just this casino?

i also had to do this once. no worries ;)

some casinos require a screen of your moneybookers/neteller to verify its your account. you can black out all important data such as your balance and other transactions. only your name and acc# should be visible.

New(ish), but also pretty INTERESTING, since many players have online billing and online banking, and casinos generally will NOT accept these accounts for verification purposes, yet are happy to accept that Neteller is online only, and does NOT post out statements, and they are willing to accept screenshots for this.

The SAME security issues apply for accepting screenshots (photoshopping) no matter WHAT online billing or banking service is being used to supply the screenshot.
You can certainly get a screenshot that shows account number and postal address from most online banking & utility services simply by going to "statement view" rather than "transaction view". "Statement view" is usually a PDF copy of what would otherwise be printed out & posted to you.

I wonder what the filing systems are like at these casinos with all these doc requests. Think they're under lock and key? Maybe they shred them after a while.
