MySpace or Facebook?

I recently got a MySpace page - actually some friends of mine signed me up, they have a band and they say it's been awesome for networking. Anyhow I finally went in and put some stuff on it....but now I've been reading that MySpace sucks and Facebook is better.

I'm not trying to get lucky or meet a man or anything like that - I'm a designer so I'm trying to network, and eventually spread the word about my new site....which I'm still working on.

Anyone use either of these or have any opinions? Thx!

Chayton I have a Myspace but I go to it in my spare time.And I only do it with a group of parents that look out for crazy stuff if you know what I mean.
But my son found one that is good and it's called something like "My Year Book" but I will ask him if it right.
You have to much trash in myspace but it is good for like a group of people you already know.
To many bad apples in one place.

yeah I hear that....I just set up the page a couple days ago and I've already had a couple idiots sending me friend requests cause they like my picture. Funny thing, I go look at their page and all their friends are all these skimpily dressed women and wannabe porn stars, so it's pretty easy to tell what kind of 'friends' they're looking for! However, it's easy to block or deny requests, so I'm not too bothered.

Facebook is huge but p*sses me off.

You end up accepting people you haven't heard of in years which is good in some ways.

But then you get your ex-girlfriend's friends on there looking at your new girlfriend and your mates.

Didn't like it so I just deactivated my account.

MySpace is ok if you have the time or dedication - I prefer using MSN/Skype for the people I want to talk to

I think myspace is fun at least more than facebook.

Stick to myspace " designer " its ok there are massive amounts of people there just learn to have fun with it and if someone likes your picture.. be flattered laugh and move on thats all.. the rest you know it by now

I signed up at Myspace a whie ago and never used it until the last 2 weeks . It's ok . I have a Facebook also but I don't think it is as fun.

Thanks, someone else mentioned Stumbleupon to me before but I forgot the name of it. A few days I saw link on another site that I thought was it, but I ended up at an "adult networking" site. I think I now qualify for a gynecology degree. And that was just the main page.
