I made a withdrawal from MyJackpotCasino on 29 May but have not been paid. I am having problems contacting them - no reply to my messages (and no phone number on the website). Does anyone have any contact that could help?

Thanks for any help

There's another member of CM that is having the same problem & they are almost impossible to get hold of right now, you could try PAB if you dont receive a reply from them but there casino rep on CM aint checking there messages aswell so they are unable to receive any messages. Good luck & hope you get your money

PAB on this

Raised a PAB on this a week ago but heard nothing - what's the usual reply time?

Thanks

Two days ago I sent confirmation of your PAB having been received to the email address you provided. Prior to that we were out of town on a business trip.

For info on the PAB process you should read the Pitch-A-Bitch FAQ as we requested when you submitted your PAB. FYI you also declared that you had read and would respect the guidelines in the FAQ.

Re "how long" note section 4. How long does it take? of the FAQ.

You will also note in the FAQ that posting on the forums regarding your issue WHILE the PAB is in progress can and often will kill your PAB. (section 3.11)

You'll also find in the FAQ contact information should you have any questions about your PAB. (section 5.1)

As I've said, read the FAQ.

It sounds like you are a little tired Max. Is it from last week?
He only asked how long it usually takes and he hadn't heard anything for a week.
His first post was from before the PAB ;)

No offense but you seem to have missed the point here on several counts:
  1. when someone completes the PAB for they sign off on it by accepting the following statement:
I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE PAB FAQ.
  2. in his post the OP showed that he obviously hadn't done so because in the FAQ it is made quite clear that
    • one should NOT post while the PAB is in progress.
    • the times to expect responses, updates, results, etc are clearly stated.
    • if you have questions you should contact me directly.

I'm not pointing this out to harass the OP. All I am saying is that we make it perfectly clear throughout the PAB submission process that the FAQ needs to be read and understood by anyone submitting a PAB. If they do not read the FAQ then it is because they have ignored all our attempts to get them to do so.

And what if they don't read the FAQ? Then they end up wasting my time with questions, concerns, mistakes and accusations that would all have been a non-issue if they'd read the FAQ in the first place.

In the computer world we used to say "RTFM", Read The F***ing Manual. Same deal here, except we're (usually) a little less direct.

Or, look at it this way: the time I spent here in this thread, explaining all this for the 1000th time, is same time I would have spent on five or six other PAB issues making actual progress. All those emails that have to be sent and read, all the case data that needs to be studied and evaluated, all the records that need keeping and site-related stuff that needs upkeep, those are the things I would have been doing if I hadn't been here typing this.

In other words several other people's PABs got no attention today because this one sucked up the time, simply because someone couldn't be arsed to read the FAQ. When people say they've read the FAQ but don't they are basically saying "I don't give a shit about other people, I just want you to babysit me and deal with my pointless, ignorant questions and mistakes even though you've bent over backwards to ensure that I would know better". (and I mean "ignorant" in the sense of "demonstrating total cluelessness", not some value judgement of the person's worth or whatever)

So, how fair is that, that five or six other people's issues got ignored because of what went down here? Sure, the OP's mistake seems trivial and no big deal but what I'm saying is those other people who's issues got no attention probably wouldn't agree. They read the FAQ, they aren't wasting my time, they have every reason to expect results ASAP. How would they feel if I said to them "sorry, no progress on your issue because I had to explain to this other person how to read instructions and do what was asked of them".

So am I "tired"? Not particularly, but I am a bit frustrated wasting time with crap like this when NONE of it would be necessary if people had just done what they said they had done, what we had asked them time and again to do, which is simply to read the FAQ.

I read the PAB FAQ and I would never use the service. It is like one of those long contracts and more than likely I would innocently miss a point and get in trouble for it lol

Your choice, of course, but consider that all the OP was asked to do here was read and comply with the FAQ. It's not like I packed up my knives and went visiting in the dark. "Get into trouble" is a bit melodramatic don't you think? Just saying. ;)

And never say "never", those PABs can be awfully handy if you find yourself caught between a rock and a hard place.

I can see where a PAB would benefit not only the player, but all others as well. And I have been between a rock and hard place, but unfortunately did not efficiently save the evidence to prove my point. You alone have to be knowledgeable with dealing with a PAB, while the customer must also be prepared. So I totally understand what you are saying and you are correct in the importance of those who wish to pursue a PAB need to read and follow the guidelines in doing so. Hence, the very reason I did not request one!

It seems I've stepped on some toes and I assure everyone that such was not my intent. Please note that all that's happened here is me trying to state my case regarding the importance of the FAQ. I have a tendency to use words like nails when I'm making a point and sometimes I'm not careful enough where the pointy parts go.

The bottom line is that the PABs take a lot of time and effort and it's frustrating as hell when someone ignores our advice over and over again and then wastes our time -- however innocently -- by making mistakes that the FAQ is specifically designed to keep them from making.

I wasn't trying to beat up on the OP or anyone else. Please understand that I was simply trying to make an important point as clear to all as I possibly could. There's no hidden message and no disfavour intended. There's just this message: PABers need to read the FAQ.

I actually had to PAB once and it's not really that complicated - the form is only like 10 or 12 questions. The FAQ is huge because it covers everything that could possibly come up.

The main things to know (before filling out the form) are to try to contact someone from the casino FIRST to resolve it, make sure the casino isn't in the Rogue Pit or the No-Can-Do list, and make sure your complaint isn't about something stupid like you broke a term and want the casino to pay you anyhow or they didn't give you a bonus or whatever.

Then when you're filling out the form, use your real name and casino username, don't use certain web-based emails for your contact mail, fill out ALL the fields and then once it's done, don't talk about your issue on the forum.

Really that's it in a nutshell. :)

Excellent summary! I'd just add the following:
  • to clarify: don't post about your issue at Casinomeister while your PAB is in progress. Once we've made a final decision you're free to post as you see fit.
  • don't expect immediate results (these things take time).
  • contact me if you have any questions.
There, easy peasy really. :)

Finally paid ...

Finally paid yesterday, 20 June, 22 days after my withdrawal. Suggest you avoid this casino if cash flow is an issue for you.

To me knowing that we even have a PAB service is a wonderful thing.. How many threads has Max saved someones ass. I mean think about it. What would the casino world be with out this service. With out a guard dog to watch over its members? I think I rather read and answer the questions then be out money or feel like I was taken advantage of.

So my point is especially if you are a new member do not be afraid. Go with what ya got, if its not good enough Max will tell ya. If you need help that's why this forum is here.

Well, you've come on this site and got what you wanted, the reason you joined the site obviously. Glad you've had it resolved. Does that mean you're just a passing ship......or will you be staying around?

I'll be staying around but gambling / AP has slowly worn me down and does not hold the interest it once did. In addition I dont like the affect it has on my moods especially as I prone to stress etc.

Very honest, and I'll be honest too - I agree with you and from what you've said it's probably wise you take a break. You've described a facet of a gambler that can have profound negative effects on that person and their finances and life. Be wise my friend.
