My Story

For your work, union and ministry of labor to not get involved seems really wild. Especially when you state physical harm, drugs, discrimination and drinking on the job. This is the ministry of the labors dream situation to go after. And lawyers too.

I havent really heard of many cases where lawyers who specialize in these disputes turn people down and tell them to deal with it through your union. They are basically there when the union does not help.

One of the websites we suggest to our clients is
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

You can go to the main part of the site and it will have lawyers dedicated to your issue and closest town that specialize in this. I just have it directed to Toronto because thats where most of our clients request.
Thanks but again I will be told the same thing but may try through this, It has to be Toronto anyway as there are no lawyers at all who will deal with a situation with a union except in Toronto.

NO! Don't think negative. Trust me when I say this. I have seen EVERYTHING and have been through so much in life. Stuff that most people would not survive mentally. I have learned that life has so many chapters..so many! It has to. Without these chapters what would life be like? You would not meet new people, learn new things, including life lessons. Life would just " exist" as it has the last so many years for you. This is a new chapter for you. It will be scary because it's new, but that is life and you will embrace it! Look ahead, not behind! Your life is so promising now.

What life? Keep getting screwed and can't get anywhere and keep getting treated like crap. I can't find a girlfriend even though I am like the last decent guy left and that's been mega stress trying to get someone to give me a chance, I am on the verge of being homeless as I am single and can't pay the high rents and can't get a house cause of the stupid rules here and really have nothing.

Honestly, the only thing or people I have is you guy's and your post's here that back me up in what I am saying is helping so thank you.

I think bebo is single. You are both from Canada and I think you are both free this Saturday evening. Sounds like a perfect time for a nice dinner out.

Let us know how it goes you two :D

How terrible! Sorry Geoff to read about all the troubles and humiliations you went through. Sounds like a real nightmare!

That's very worrying how things are going in such huge companies. Employees are like numbers and slaves. Nobody cares and has a zero tolerance or understanding about other human beings and first of all, colleagues. Capitalism is like a mad, soulless slave factory :(
And there's nobody to protect you and guarantee your basic human rights, although the world is pretending to give more and more freedom and rights to people. Nope, years and years it's getting even worse.
Reality is that the world we're talking about is actually owed and ruled by companies like Coca-Cola. We're all getting brain washed by TV, reality shows, idiotic movies and idiotic music on the way to be turned into apathetic and selfish robots, who won't fight for their better life, but accept their mediocre and sad destiny.

In my country, that's exactly how it goes, mainly because of the high level of unemployment. Employers can do whatever they like, because employees are considered easy replaceable and will be easily replaced if they don't accept the game and terms. Take it or leave it, no matter if you're gonna work as a donkey, 7 days a week and be paid like a garbage - there's always be someone who'll accept the position, as having no choice. That's why, people with jobs are often told to be happy with what they have, it always can be worse and they can always lose that poor job they have.

I'm so sick of it and the current concept of the world, jobs and companies. Also very proud to see people stand up and fight. Not alone, but united. Unfortunately, world is slowly but surely losing that revolutionary spirit and hunger for changes and better world, exactly due to the brain washers on every step we take.

Don't know what to say to you - you are a brave and just human. It's very encouraging that you decided to fight back and speak up!
The only thing I'm afraid of is the power of the other side you're going against to and the fact that your own country and government just doesn't want to get involved and help, but simply stayed aside, like it's just not their problem.

On the other hand, as someone said, life is really short and you spent quite enough of it and your own nerves, money and health on this cruel company and employer. You really deserve better place to work, where you'll be appreciated as you're a loyal, honest and hard-worker.

Is there any job around you've been offered or able to apply to or take?

Oh, thank you so much! We have the same feelings on this as I feel the same about how the world is. I have sent a resume out this weekend so able to apply for anyway, Tomorrow the search will be back on as it's a holiday weekend here, I really do have options if a suitable job does come as I am single, no kids and I hate the city I am in,lol so nothing really keeping me here so if something comes up where I can get my own place closer to that job it's an option.

So that bad meeting was last week but a good thing happened as I won at the casino again yesterday, Would have been my biggest win ever if I was betting max bet so I was like wow at least something good is happening to me after something bad. :)

Oh thank you, Well that's how it work's these day's sadly, The good ones get treated like crap and in trouble for doing good thing's, while the bad workers get no trouble and ahead. Not calling you a bad worker but at least you're honest HAHA.
