I posted my dilemma on a forum at faircasinos.com, and a member suggested that I go to the casinomeister and ask what can be done...here was my post.

I have been having nothing but problems in receiving my check from Mummys gold. I won over 8,000.00
The first thing was that I faxed them my utility bill and their staff let it sit around the fax machine 3-4 days before they could find it.
Then you would think with all the information that I had faxed them that they would have realized that my correct address was what was on my drivers license and my utility bills. But when they mailed the check they mailed it to the state ALABAMA and not Michigan....even though these were the addresses on my information.

I received the check via speed mail in 3 days (some speed mail) and with the error of the wrong state, my bank would not allow me to cash it until I waited one to two weeks with the check clearing.

I wrote Mummys gold and explained the information, but they had so many people replying to my emails that no one could keep it straight.
Monday I called my bank and they said it looked as though it cleared.
Well we wrote out our bills and mailed them only to find out today that they had CANCELLED THE CHECK............because I apparently had not emailed them with my confirmation of the correct address...WHICH I DID ABOUT 90 TIMES IN ADDITION TO EXPLAINING TO THEM WHAT HAPPENED.
I was receiving replies from their casino from people from South Africa, Canada, and then some company who claimed to be from their organization but the only problem was that when I would reply to the email it would be returned.
Well you know how anxious I was in replying to someone who claimed to be from their casino then my email was sent back due the senders address being false.
If anyone knows how I can take this up legally I would like to pursue it,
I've kept all the emails then they tell me that I've changed the emails.
WHAT SHIITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And then one of their reps told me that she would ensure that I would have an inconvenience bonus posted to my account due to all of this trouble, this was even before the check did not clear, and now I can't even get them to do that. They told me their reps can't ensure any bonuses, well that is fine but you would think the casino would do this just to ensure their integrity and reputation, not to mention possibly making amends for customer satisfaction!

Any help I could get would be great!

Ok - here are the first questions I gotta ask.

1. If the check was mailed to the wrong "state", how in the world did you get it anyhow?
2. I've never seen a check that has the payee's address printed on it - but then again I haven't used checks in a while.
3. You're trying to pay bills with gambling winnings?

I think you need to back off a bit. Figure out what went wrong - explain in more detail how a check supposedly mailed to the wrong state still arrived in your hands, and why the bank would delay your check.

Then you need to explain what was said between the time the check was requested and before it was cancelled.

Did you make a copy of your check? If so, I'd like to see it. I've never seen an address used for the depositor.

Did you really email them 90 times, or is this an exageration? Ninety emails is a bit much and will only add to any confusion on the casino's part. It's not a good idea to overwhelm customer support if you want to get something done.

Feel free to PAB here: https://www.casinomeister.com/player-arbitration-pab/

I can assist you. I'll reply with a response after investigating your situation. If there is anything else I need to know to assist you that haven't posted here, faircasinos and other online forums, I'll appreciate it.

Thanks, Roelof

Hi xxxoticaaa

I have investigated the correspondance between Yourself, cash-ins, the Brand Manager and the Marketing Manager. It seems like the issue is quite simple. Mummys Gold needs your correct address details confirmed. That is all. If they can get that confirmed 100% they can sent you your check. According to your post it sounds like it must be posted to Michigan. They off-course need this address so the check doesn't travel the states and then end up in the wrong hands.

Also as discussed with you in your email, you will also not be charged the $35 and given an additional $25 inconvenience bonus.

I don't fully understand this. If they received your ducuments and driving license showing your actual address, why did they send it to another address? Did you register at the casino with another address?

Also, how did you finally get the cheque if it was sent somewhere else first? Why did you carry on complaining after you deposited it at your bank? That is when they probably cancelled it.

I've kept all the emails then they tell me that I've changed the emails.
WHAT SHIITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, in what way did they say you changed your emails???

Thats my question too exactly. I think he had a different address at the casino. But how did mummysgold check his driverslicence and utilitybill and not notice that he had a whole different address on them then on his account. Some verification...

It would be understandable if the state abbreviations were close, like mine is NH and could be mistyped as NE... But mistyping AL instead of MI is too much.

Thank you Chatmaster

Thank you for looking into this for me.
As for the rest of you who seem way too cynical for anyone to want to ask for help, yes the check was mailed to NAPOLEON,ALABAMA but with the right ZIP CODE, so some intelligent postmaster must have paid attention to zip codes. And yes when you only gamble once in a great while and you win you like to pay your bills ahead of time rather than let the money hang around for temptation purposes.
It seems to me you need to back off the beer and put down your cynical attitude that everyone that might come here is trying to screw you PERSONALLY OVER.
I will not be back but thank you chatmaster I do appreciate YOUR HELP!
and if anyone cares to check out my site...have at it...

Here is the check

For those CYNICS and ironic tactfully rude people who doubted here is a copy of the check WITH THE ADDRESS........

Thanks....I think

The reason they had to send it to a PO BOX is that I live far out in the country not on a rural route, so we don't have mailboxes....
Sounds ridiculous but true, but rather than be cynical about what people say in general about anything, I always give them the benefit of the doubt until they prove me wrong....unlike the responses I've received from this site....

By the way, I don't think in future you should let anyone else sign up and deposit for you (you told me it was your hubby, the Carl shown on your cheque) as it's is against a lot of casinos terms and conditions to let anyone else play in the account.

I was just a benevolent bystander

Allthough it was my gift he did all the "hand action" :)
So no worry there, although in his heart it was for me, all in all it was fair game........plz quit trying so hard to work for those that you do PR FOR!!!!
As a newcomer it sure hurts to know that my fellow gamblers are back stabbers!

I already told you in a PM that the only reason I mentioned it was it could cause problems in the future, especially if you start posting in forums as Layla.

ok ok ok

Point taken and thank you very much, sorry if I assumed..... :what:

ChatMeister suggested.....

Since I could not post the picture of the cover of the book at FairCasinos, then I thought I should do it here, since he thought it would be ok to promote the book here...so here it is, a pic of the cover and the synopsis, when it is approved for print I will post you a free online site to view it....
Thanks,
Luvs, Layla

The cynics you refer to, ironically, are the two people who have the best chance of helping you... LOL... you have to admit that payee addresses are NOT commonly seen on checks.

My next question: How in the WORLD would something be mailed to the wrong state with the right zipcode unless you were the one to enter the incorrect details in the first place? Or, unless some database containing these state/zipcode details was wrong at Proc Cyber?

As for paying bills - been there, done that. Trust me on that one - wait until the money is IN the account before paying the bills.

xxxoticaaa, I did mention you could write at Casinomeister the reason you gave me for not being able to have accounts in your name. In your explanation you mentioned the related book but not sure really if it is something Casinomeister would want you to post about but I did manage to add the cover and synopsis on mine after you posted there.

Well I was given this explanation for the reason she isn't able to have her own account (quoting the main part here):
I lived in Iran for 5years and have a book coming out about my escape from a POW camp in Iran post 911.....Hopefully it will be out by sept 11th if my publisher and literary agent have anything to say about it.....but anyway...he bought the credits cuz it was sort of a payback on a private bet we had....don't want to bore you but the end story is without credit cards or checking accounts you can't gamble online....and if I were to get either, my ex IRANIAN husband Mohammad Foroozandeh, who is also secretary of defense for Iran, would come back to America and claim it, since when I escaped Iran we were not divorced and I was not granted a traditional Muslim divorce, only a legal one, so he technically could still have a claim to any assetts I might have.

Umm. How is what I said being cynical? I thought I was being nice. Perhaps you need to re-read my posting and imagine me saying this with a soft gentle explanatory voice while giving you a back rub.

Geeze! I even offered to help.

if thats all true, is it wise for this woman to be getting her tits out on the internet, while advertising her address on a gambling site?

these iranians are pretty keen on their fatwas, remember salman rushdie ?
