Most poorly designed video slot(s)

3dice "japan/chinese slot" is terrible. You try hit ying yang scatters and when you get all pieces for picture you get only few spins and low multiplayer (other slots you get much better freespins even one spin).

Oh gawd, ChingChing. It's a damn pretty game, but I certainly wouldn't touch it in real play. I guess there's a market for that kind of game, but it doesn't appeal to me one bit.

But, honestly, I'd rather play ChingChing than that god awful Slotronomicon. The fact that people actually win on that thing astounds me.

I quite like Slotronomicon. I never have won on it but and like you it almost seems impossible to me for someone to do so but I still play it.

instead of mentioning a specific slot can i just say Chartwell!

they are still producing slots today that look like they would have been out of date 10 years ago, the Italian Job for instance could have been such a good game if Netent or Ash Gaming had the license, it would have had car chases and doors being blown off instead of the boring 'Pick a lump of gold' effort they gave it

Theres very select few slots I hate - Rival; I like the majority of them, but Opera Night, come on. Seriously? Wins on any lines are nowhere near your bet; you have to get supremely lucky to hit a bonus round or free spins, and the free spins are god awful.

MG; I don't really play anything other than my 'favourites', so can't really complain, but I will mention Robin Hood, Feathers of Fortune. I dislike this game purely for the fact it seems to stink every time I play!

RTG, however, I reserve a special place for some of their games. Any of the games that make you have to get 3 scatters on reels 1 2 and 3 for example. Come on. If I hit 3 scatters anywhere, I want a bonus round. Ridiculous. Aladdin's Gold springs to mind.

And finally, as above, ANY casino slot that makes you have to hit 3 scatters on reels 1, 2 and 3, or 4, 5 and 6, and THEN has the audacity to say, "Oh no, you have to hit them on an active payline AS WELL" - seriously, like I'm going to play your slot :p

I understand what you are saying and why you feel these slots are "poor value", but in reality it doesn't make ANY difference at all.

A slot will be designed to give the feature in X number of spins on average - it doesn't matter HOW you trigger the feature, the chances are still the same.
What I'm saying is a slot where you need scatters on reels 1, 2 & 3 could well be more likely to give you the feature than one where 3 scatters anywhere will trigger it.
It makes no odds.

In reality, I realise that, but mentally, I don't :D

Thanks for complement quber, great to hear you like what we do with licenses. All I can say is keep your eyes out for some on their way :)

Haha! This thread made me laugh, your so right about 'Liquid Gold' and many other slots games. I saw this one the other day, think it was chineses and the graphics were apalling. Gold Rally is my favourite of the better quality slots sites, but my god there are some terrible ones!

Net Entertainment has a slot that is a basically Thunderstruck but at least they put effort into the graphics.

Vikings Treasure. Similar but 15 lines.

Any video slot from Boss Media software was horrible and all very alike.

I (almost) agree. There are perhaps two slots that are playable for a short while but compared to other providers they are miles behind.

Bingo! For me, it would be a toss up between Chartwell and Orbis for the poorest collection with Boss a close runner-up. I think Chartwell recently (and if I'm right, very sensibly!) did a deal with Novomatic?

As an affiliate I sometimes get contacted by casinos saying "check us out". The moment I see they have Chartwell or Boss Media software my heart sinks 'cos I just know it's a pointless excercise. Even if they are a good casino, no slots player is going to hang around for long once they see what else is out there.

Hopefully thats true. Wanna play Rockin Rome online. Also Rich Witch, Riches of India and Beetle Mania would be more than welcome online.

At the moment, of those you mention only Beetle Mania has been ported into an online version afaik.

I'm thinking of "fugly" and the first things that come to mind are some of the slots that less than ethical companies design with ripped off graphics and ideas from some of the main stream providers.

Here is one of my favs - it'll make your eyeballs bleed if you look at it too long. "Thunderstruck" by Salus Technologies. They have removed it from their games suite, but you can go to the "way back" machine and see the other games they ripped off and mutilated from MGS here:

I think it's the "rams" that bother me the most. They're sort of like stick figures. I find them disturbing.

WOW!

This makes me wanna scratch my eyes out
