New Slot Announcement Monopoly Megaways from Big Time Gaming!

But I did get this a little earlier. I don't see it as much different to most other megaways slots. If your lucky you can hit big early and without filling up the board

As I say, it’s trick is making you think there is more to it than Bonanza. You’re still chasing the bonus, but Monopoly allows you to think you’re nearly there.

But they all have that eliment in one guise or another.
I guess it is all down to how the mechanics get to achieve their rtp?
How many people will try a game like DOA and leave it never to return again? How many people are aware of volitility?
Surely there is room for those who know their stuff to take advantage of these peoples ignorance when a slot is first released?

It is so easy to dismiss slots over just a few 100 spins. Especially if your review is based on a cold few 100 spins and its so obvious that you have not taken the time to get a feel for what you are about to review live.
It happens so often and I find it so lazy

But they all have that eliment in one guise or another.

There is a world of difference between presenting a bonus triggered by getting a clearly quite difficult GOLD in Bonanza and having properties galore all within a house or two of triggering a bonus but in reality potentially still being hundreds of spins from triggering.

I think it’s almost a case of defend the indefensible when it comes to Monopoly Megaways design.

The indefensible is the number of properties that do nothing on the game, when all the extras are collected they are zero payers as well, it could have been so much better thought out.

I mean why did they not have a jail game the jail symbols are useless, free parking could have been a free spin etc very badly thought out.

You also could have had the option to collect Megaways cards and used them when you wanted as a strategy

BTG don’t really do sub-games.

Plus - they’ve paid for the licence, best hold some ideas back for the sequel.

I am not suggesting that it is a perfect slot in its mechanics. I too found it very frustrating when I have houses all over the shop only to get next to nothing from the bonus. But the rtp means that someone will hit big just like the DOA type slots

I gave this slot one deposit when released, l had a couple of stations, a few properties added and had no bonus. I lost £20 at 0.20 very quickly and vowed never to come back

Today I stupidly did come back and this time lost £40 at 0.20 again no bonus trigger.
Does this slot actually do anything constructive in the base game, 2xbet wins followed by 4 dead spins constantly.

I've collected the utilities/stations but I only added two extra properties, anytime I had 3 cascades it landed on a the many useless squares and I never had anymore than 3 cascades in a few hundred spins which is awful itself. (Inventory is below)

Now I'm in a position where I've lost/invested £60 into this piece of shit without a bonus.
So later on I'll give it another £40 at 0.20 and see what happens, fairly certain I'm not going to recover anywhere near the 300x bet I've lost and anything else that it's going to cost me but I want to find out so I can moan like fuck even more or you never know I might actually be surprised.
(IP address, casino and account available to BTG rep if he wants to set me up on the streamer/affiliate version;))

A 90ish spin trigger should be able to pay back that 300x.
;)

This was my wonderful 29-spin trigger, wich almost gave me back the money it cost to build up.
Yes, im still salty about it.

Well I got a bonus after losing another £15 and it returned 110x, £75 it cost and paid £22 back and it never landed on a lot of properties.

I kept going because the base game wasn't playing that bad and I triggered the bonus again with a £9.80 initial base game win.
Total winnings £17.80 initial base game hit £9.80 so the bonus of 21 spins paid £8(40x) and used a lot of my collected board.

I kept going and landed this, for a hardly any properties, no stations and the minimum amount of spins.
The collection process is a gimmick it seems just to keep you invested.

I'll be passing on this slot, what an absolute dire game, so infuriating. The cascades are rarely more than one or two and if you're lucky to hit the three or four you'll end up landing on just visiting or some other insignificant board. 20 spins with 17x multiplier returning very much nothing. A lot more was invested to get there

It's one of the worst slots I've ever played, when I made the video review of it for my channel I actually had to start drinking to get through it.

In the end I got three features in three hours of play (which is truly shocking), and felt like jumping off a cliff.

Yeah it's pretty bad, it's a shame, it looked like it had so much potential, won't be for me though

I had to laugh at some of the headline quotes btg has used on their website from the various reviews out there

"Monopoly Megaways stands head and shoulders over most other Monopoly titles available on the market"

[ well that could be true as most monopoly games are also garbage ]

"Monopoly MegaWays is the best Monopoly slot around – Big Time Gaming have excelled themselves this time "

"This is the perfect Megaways™ slot, combining great potential with excellent mechanics"

[from our old shills friends at casino grinds]

Monopoly Megaways™ will give all, and soon-to-be Megaways fans a thrilling reel ride with high volatility and huge win potential

love the 'soon to be' part, nothing like a bit of optimism that the market hasn't been saturated yet, and there are still more punters out there who haven't played a megaway game, it certainly gave Chop a thrilling ride, almost off the nearest cliff!

------------

It must be some sort of scam this slot, microwins in the base game and infrequent bonuses which in any case pay poorly. Strangely it reminds me of their temple quest infinity game, where you're left scratching your head as to where the rtp is and what the point of the game is other than just to deplete your balance gradually.

BTG are working on that screenshot as we speak.

How?
They fired the screenshots-guy, didnt they?

I re-read that thread a couple days ago.
Im not sure i understand how they were let back on the forum, when all they do is show up 1 day when they release a new slot, then disappear again.

I mean, nobody really bought that it was a rogue move by one of their employees right?
And they even fixed competitions.
"nah it was just one guy who was really eager to show how awesome our slots are"
Haha, yeah right.

Wonder who over at btg got that tesla they were "giving away"
;)

1.5/10 Honeyjars

No mention of it in Casumo's monthly stats thread for December which was the first full month the slot qualified for. This and the lack of evidence otherwise suggests that its potential is only potential.
I still enjoyed playing the slot but after that 1000x I am giving it a miss

It seems to me BTG have over-thought the mechanics of this slot and lost some of that simplicity which made their classic(s) great.

I'm sure Monopoly Megaways has the big wins in it - somewhere - but it's so unlikely to come to fruition that most players won't even get a sniff of it

Which 'classics'?

DHV is a great slot but beyond that I'm hard pushed to name anything BTG have done that enters the realm of the 'very good', let alone 'classic'.

And don't you even dare say Bonanza.
