New Slot Announcement Monopoly Megaways from Big Time Gaming!

Which 'classics'?

DHV is a great slot but beyond that I'm hard pushed to name anything BTG have done that enters the realm of the 'very good', let alone 'classic'.

And don't you even dare say Bonanza.
B-

Damn you. Damn you to hell!

As I skilfully dodged the earlier question posed to me, I'd state that Monopoly Megaways is among BTG's worst releases to date, a culmination of their recent creative decline.

So In fact I'd rate Bonanza & DHV classics, the former more in potential of course.

White Rabbit's bonus is the best in their entire catalogue, unlocking all reels and getting max re-spins is 'twinge in nether-regions'-worthy

Donuts is almost classic status, a fun flawed mess

Lil Devil's also proving to have some teeth and may in time go down in the pantheon of greats

But Monopoly Megaways is simply low-tier trash, sorry BTG

Gave Monopoly its final chance last night, played for 4 hours on 20p during which time
I got 3 features paying 3x,10x and around 100x, not a good experience.
There is a definate stratagy to keep the punter playing, you get the stations and utilities pretty quick
then there is long haul to get the feature. My first 2 features hardly touched the houses and I really
had no choice but to keep playing. The last feature used up a lot of houses to no avail, as most spins
gave losers or shit wins.
Think there is a basic flaw in the maths of the game,by moving round the board using wins they are
using so much of the rtp with microwins there is little left to pay out in the feature when you do get it.
Would have been much better to have move and house symbols on the reels and give some decent basegame
hits. All in all it really is a bag of poo and I wont give it any more chances.

Not even 200x for 20 spins and a 23x multiplier.
Since you wont complain, i will!
Boooo!

Yes just that one big win. Im lucky enough i think to be evens across all sites on this ill keep playing till it proves a dud.

Never had much success on Megaways but then again ive never lost a lot on them either.

Edit: I'll probably leave it alone for a few days now or at least be a bit cautious, funny the little ways we have with our slots.

Had to share these two bonuses.

Yesterdays bonus I had 3 or 4 houses on every single property nearly.

My fullest board so far i had a x20 multiplier by the 4th spin which you will have to take my word for as i deleted the screenie. Barely x100.

This morning i tried again and after about 5 spins landed a bonus plus extra spins with a chance card which added 4 houses to my only property with 4 houses already giving bonus plus extra spins. Didnt think it would amount to much as i barely had a house to let and the board was almost bare but for the 4 i had.

This bonus i landed on extra spins and the x2 multiplier adds but it was the wins that made the difference.....

Ive played this slot a lot since release and i like it.

But, ive come to the conclusion, after many a disappointing bonus from a very full board, that its not worth grinding to get the houses. Just play like any other game. If its warm then play on.

Otherwise in my experience be prepared for disappointment.

This win came from £2 cashback following a £10 win on Tombstone on CasinoCasino, must be my lucky day :)

I still say bonus rounds are predetermined, that is the only way you can explain constant disappointment from what appears to be the premium set up.

The basic bonuses consistently outshine the jazzy ones. It’s such a giveaway when you hit a premium set up but unfortunately get a predetermined low bonus win. It’s almost laughable, as even though you have thousands of ways to win, the visuals have to kill 90% of your spins and make it look believable.

I don’t believe any bonus is random but megaways type games not a chance. There are just too many variables in play to let it be random. It would be impossible to control rtp because even doing billions of test spins would not scratch the surface if a game genuinely had trillions of outcomes.

I agree the RTP logic is a mystery to me on some slots. Some seem too complicated with too many variables to me.

But without the working knowledge i remain on the fence. Would be great to know the inner workings of some of these from the perspective of the mathematician/slot designer. Just not sure my brain could fathom it :)

You could ask Trance if there's some sort of apprenticeship programme on the go? May even pick up a cute T Shirt for your troubles? Only downside is it would be IGT slots, which may have the same effect as Gamstop.

Tbf, my brain needs practicable experience to process things so, whilst i can read the words etc, it struggles to compute it without seeing it in motion.

Did NLC not have a job on the go? Sure we could all chip in to send you there once the planes start flapping their wings again.

I think there are far more blatant and obvious slots that manipulate reels to make the feature setup irrelevant. Far worse than supposedly BTG who I believe may just have scenario where only 1 of say 20 bonus reel sets are “juiced” so to speak to potentially pay big. You are far more likely to hit more of these on lower spins as they will be the ones more frequently obtained. That’s to say 20+ spins on that 1 good set will likely pay very big. May be off track on that so happy to be corrected.

As for other manufacturers slots. There are loads but the stand out one for me has to be Laser Fruit by Red Tiger (up there with the most ridiculous examples). 60 million ways could not mean less if it tried. But this is just one example of an increasing reliance on what is being presented as possible/likely on screen and what is actually possible irrelevant. But apparently this is all fair in love and war as long as a slot hits RTP over a billion or so spins.

I looked at the NLC job for a graphic designer. I have an A Level and Diploma in Art and Design but Malta is a bit far now i have kids and to be fair, i have no experience, just sketch now and most is done on the computer programs im not familiar with anyway.

Nice job though and the games are stylish and well presented i think.

Know what you mean about seeing it in action. It would be nice to see the process from start to finish in a Attenborough style documentary dumbed down for me.

You don't need to tell them, when a postcard will give them all the information you they need: you've gave them enough Bamber: time to cut them loose!
