Hi Laurie ,
I have about given up on online play , but wonder why nobody seems to consider Money Gram from Wal-Mart or CVS Pharmacy ?
I use MoneyGram (MG) to send money to my NetSpend Visa Card (NS) and then use the NS to deposit at an online casino. No casinos I know of accept deposits with MG so the MG is no good unless you get a NS because that's what you need to deposit. I use the MG at Albertson's (safeway) Grocery because my bank is in that Abertson's, also. But I have used (MG) at Wal-Mart and also the CVS next door to Albertson's if its late because they offer MG services 24 hours a day. I used it yesterday on January 1.
This is where it gets complicated: If you win, no casino will put your winnings back on your NS and they wont send it to you via MG. That's why you also need UseMyWallet/QuickTender (QT) so the casino can pay you. You can also make a deposit at the casino with QT and this is
very important -before you can make a withdrawal of your winnings from a casino to your QT account you must have
first used your QT account to make your deposit to the casino. Since the MG is $4.50 and QT deducts 5% from the money you add to your QT account, (have support at the first casino you visit set you up with a QT account because only casinos can do it for you) you should make your
first deposit at each casino you play at with QT. That way you've satisfied the casino's requirement to use QT for a deposit the first time and you don't have to worry about it any, going forward.
So here's what you should do and the order you'll need to do it in:
1. Find a casino from the Accredited Casino list here at CM that you want to deposit and play at that accepts QT. Contact their support department and ask them to set you up with QT.
2. Get a NetSpend Visa card. Either online at NetSpend.com or at a retail outlet that sells the re-loadable cards. Find a location on their website using your zip code. I just tried 79347 which is in Muleshoe, TX and there were 18 locations that either sold or serviced NS so no matter where you are in TX you'll find one.
3. Load at least $55 onto your NS because you're going to use that money for your QT account and they have a $50 minimum.
4. Load your QT account using your NS Visa.
5. Use QT to make a deposit at the casino.
6. Win money. Remember to take a screen shot to post here at CM.
7. Cash out your winnings by requesting a withdrawal to your QT account.
8. Now you can deposit to the casino with your NetSpend and still be able to cash out using QT. QT will charge you $20 or so to wire money to your bank account but since you're going to win BIG, who cares?
9. Reload your NS and, if you want to try a different casino, also reload your QT account.
10. And so on..
Now
see how easy that is?
Oh I'm so glad I'm livin' in the U.S.A.!
I failed to thank Bern for his good for his good advice and also didn't realize the Money Gram info was in this thread .
You're welcome. Good luck!
